Best hotels & accommodations in Coronado (CA)

Ocean towers are very dated & not as clean. I’ve stayed at hotels cleaner than this especially for the price I paid to stay. The hotel was currently undergoing renovations so it was very noisy at early as 7:00 am. Parking is very expensive so I don’t recommend renting a car. It’s $50 per night. Lots of amenities at hotel & close by.

If you think you book a ice hotel by the beach with pools and water activities, well, think again !!!! The add is a bit deceiving !! The beach and pools are 4-5 miles away !!! so it is not that you can go dawn from your room to the pool or to the beach !!! Rooms are VERY nice and large, but unfortunately came with cockroaches too. Water in the bathtub, does not go dow...

The Crown City is a compact, comfortable motel well situated in Coronado which is a relaxing alternative to downtown San Diego. It is an easy walk to local shops, restaurants and the beach made even easier by the hotel providing free bikes. No free breakfast, but a restaurant on site or an easy walk to Starbucks.

Firstly, the manager Lori Bevan and her team are wonderful and always ready to assist. Secondly, the value of nearly $1000 for four nights is a bit much for this Select Service Property regardless of its location. On the third night we received mediocre Housekeeping Service where the Room Attendant did not vacuum or leave a waste basket liner.
