Best hotels & accommodations in Dallas (TX)

I've stayed here several times and don't remember the rooms being in such bad condition--walls are scuffed and need paint, furniture beat up. Looking very tired. The saving grace for this hotel is that it's on-property at DFW. If you can afford it, stay at the the Grand Hyatt instead

Magnolia itself was an outstanding facility, Serving staff in restaurant were kind and gracious. Hotel is surrounded by high rise buildings, so views of Dallas environs are impossible from room windows. The overnight rate for parking vehicle was excessive (over 32.00 per night).

I loved staying everything was on point... How ever on person on your mgnt is a very disrespectful persion.. I personaly think if u work in any kind of custome srvice agencies u should conduct you self in a higher standerd then the way i was just spoke to on the phone by this person ..

I recently stayed at the Magnolia Dallas Park Cities with teenager daughters. The hotel is older & our bathtub had been recoated with the coating flaking off,, but it was nice overall. If you are looking for ultimate luxury, this is not the place for you. However, this does not mean it is not a good place to stay. They have a $5 happy hour, free cookies & milk 8-10pm,...

Great facility! Clean, modern, well kept... especially for the price. Also, the hot breakfast was a definite plus. Please be aware that the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. There are quite a few adult establishments in the area. I did not have any problems but I would recommend exercising caution traveling in the vicinity of the hotel at night.

First of all I am blessed because the room we got was fortunately the best room in the hotel probably . The major issue was we did not have hot water for two days no one ever answered the front desk ever we continuously had to go down if we had problems speaking of that the elevator was broken most of the time small children got stuck in the elevator on two different...

this is the second time i stayed at ths hotel. i like the location and hotel charge are fairly reasonable for the room size. easy access to wi-fi. but, most important this hotel offer smoking room, so i can smoke in the room without going out of my room. breakfast are so so at this hotel as little choice o foods.

I liked the fact the hotel was walking distance literally across the street. The people at the front desk were very nice and apologized for other employees in the top bar that weren’t so nice. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. If I was to go to another concert in dallas I will probably stay there again.

We were given a room that was not thoroughly cleaned. There was hair in the shower. Ther was visible blood on the comforter. The AC unit leaked on your back in the bathroom. The AC unit ladled through the walls and the carpet near the restroom stayed wet. This caused the room to have a musty mildew smell.

Pros: Friendly staff; very helpful. Doesn't nickle and dime for toiletries and coffee. Breakfast was actually decent. Plenty of space in room. Location is prime. Cons: It is a bit dated and tired. I wouldn't say run down, but not "fresh". Our room smelled like a salon for some reason. That could have just been from the previous guest, but the smell was strong and laste...

This hotel is great value for money right in the middle of downtown. Staff were great and gave us a late check out. Pool is on fifth floor with a view. No poolside service. Rooms very very spacious. I would definatley recommend this hotel if staying in Dallas. Walking distance to restaurants, 6th floor museum and bronze bulls.

I have zero complaints on the room, simply due to the great rate I was able to get it for last minute, compared to everywhere else. Do not expect or demand a 5 star hotel a budget. A few notes: I traveled alone, without a vehicle. The employee checking me in was very pleasant and informative, it was clear he knew what he was doing and enjoyed doing it. The bathroom l...

Older hotel but stay was great we will stay here again in future definitely. Hotel room was clean and well cared for. Staff was A+ some of the best have delt with in long time approximately 10 minutes after we got in room staff called to check if everything was satisfactory and thanked again for staying with them. Also wanted to comment on hot Breakfast was great not j...
Cheapest hotels in Dallas (TX)

It was cheap considering it was a last minute booking. I arrived almost 1 am and the staff at the front desk made me feel safe. One bad thing about my stay is I wasn't sure if the room got cleaned because there was a used bar of soap in the bathroom and a half roll of tissue paper when I came in.

Good price . Somewhat old furniture and bedding was not the best but just ok. Staff was friendly and we could rest peacefully. The only bad thing was that the shower water couldn’t be adjusted to a medium temperature, it was completely hot water so we always showered as quick as possible .

First, I can't believe they charge a $100 deposit for this hotel. It's really nothing like the pictures on here. My first room was disappointing at best. Even though it was clean, it just looked grimy. It was a double bed in a separate room than the kitchen and living room area and it smelled like some sort of terrible gas when AC came on. Apparently there was a shift ...

Only 2 issues that I had is the dryer in the facility didn’t dry my clothes even after two hours. Also the A/C in my room sounded like a dying giraffe and didn’t keep the room as cold as I would’ve preferred. With saying that everything else was great.

It was a pleasure to stay in super 8,Irving. Enjoyed our 4 nights stay, from the cleaners to the reception staff, each and everyone done a great job, would recommend it to anyone, thanks to the whole team to make our stay pleasant,,,, keep up the good work!!!!

I stayed 1 night at Studio Queen, but I would never recommend this hotel for all. It is good located, but that's all for good. The hotel room was quite dirty, even the toilet was not flushed. This page said they provide free breakfast, but there was no breakfast but only coffee. If someone consider staying this hotel, I would definitely not recommend this for all.

I was amazed by the middle outside area. The lawn was very well kept and the pool was very nice for a hotel of this rating. The pool was even illuminated at night. I was right next to it and it was nice seeing other guests (with kids) hanging out enjoying their weekend by the grill. It was an amazing family oriented experience I’ve never really felt at a hotel. The roo...

This hotel does not have enough parking. There are a bunch of permanent cars parked in the lots that ought to be towed. Housekeeping and breakfast were abysmal, it was noticeable how no one ended up taking breakfast more than once in a stay opting for the IHOP next door. Woken up multiple times from doors slamming or the vacuum going on more than two doors down as t...

I think your customer service as far as transporting to & from airport is very poor. My husband & I wanted to return our rental car the night before our flight so that we didn't have to hassle with it the next morning. We thought we could shuttle to airport from Enterprise Rent a car for Comfort Inn to pick us up only to find out you only have a one way service to th...

I book 4 weekends (Friday and Saturday) during the month of April, during a extended visit my father made to my in Addison. He was very satisfied with the accommodations, it serves the purpose perfectly, good sleep and 5 minutes from our apartments for the nights he didn't stay with us. He was able to remote work, walk distance from several eateries, cafeterias and res...

The hotel is a little dated but not bad. There was an odd smell in the room. Other than that it was great. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and we didn't spend a ton of money. The staff was great. The line was a couple people deep checking in so the manager hopped on to get us in quickly. Housekeeping came the next morning. I scared her opening the door bu...

As a businessman, thank you, everything was orderly and well-managed. As a father of littles, thank you, the setting was great, the rooms were spacious, and the staff was extraordinary, going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Best Regards, Paul Fancher

The rooms them selfs have a decent design. Simple yet modern. However there are issues that made me feel uncomfortable. To start the mattress has very little padding i could feel the springs. I know this could be a corp problem so i dont want to hold it against this site. Zenis beds are cheap but comfortable i recommend them. Next the door has to be slamed to close and...

Sheraton Dallas is located in downtown Dallas. From this hotel one has easy access to free trolleys, buses and trains to all parts of the city. I like to ride on the M-trolley to get to the restaurant/pub area nearby and enjoy a good dinner. Hotel room is clean and staff are very friendly. I will certainly return to this hotel.

Good - I have stayed many many times as the Palomar, this was my first as Highland. $25 for valet parking in Dallas is ridiculous and the self parking options are very limiting. The room service menu could use some healthier options. The beds were amazing and the staff was fantastic.

After 24 hours of long flight, was really a very good experience that I have stayed in this hotel. The staff was always very kind and focused on the customer. John was very interactive. Everything clear, room with good space, mattress very soft, good location , very good and variety of western food. I recommend this hotel for those want to stay in Dallas downtown.

Our room smelled like vomit. The halls smelled odd also. Housekeeping came up and sprayed our room, but it didn’t help much. We went to the hotel bar after an event and ordered food and drinks. Our waiter kept forgetting to bring us things and to order our food. The couple with us waited 40 minutes, asked where their food was and found he never ordered it. It took 45 m...
Traveler impressions of Dallas (TX)
Dallas is great place to visit, probably to make money and have your business there. It is a typical big texas city, big malls, massive highway but nothing like houston, its crazy there.
Since this is my short business travel, I only visited the musuem of Kennedy although I know there is a lot to be explored.

All in perspective don’t expect what it is not. This is a three star place. So based off a three star place it hits 5 stars on every level. Clean is #1 important to me, #2 location #3 price . I was skeptical at first but it wasn’t too good to be true. Would stay again

It was a pleasure to stay in super 8,Irving. Enjoyed our 4 nights stay, from the cleaners to the reception staff, each and everyone done a great job, would recommend it to anyone, thanks to the whole team to make our stay pleasant,,,, keep up the good work!!!!

They began breaking down the breakfast nearly half an hour early, so if you enjoy your sleep and want to wake up to catch anything of a breakfast before the actual closing time, good luck. There was also cigarette holes all throughout the comfoter, hairs all throughout the bed, the place hasn’t had any updating in a minimum of 30 years, the smell in the hotel was just ...

We liked the hotel although it is 3 star. Comfortable bed, nicely decorated, and extremely friendly staff. The location was good. Things we didn't like was that the breakfast was limited and repitative (same kind of dishes for 6 days!). No fridge or safe in the room. Fridge has to be requested!. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Located not too far downtown, and pretty much $10 away from any spots of interest by uber. The room way clean and spacious, with great facilities and friendly staff. The check out was extendible to 13:00, which really helped us too. Complementary breakfast was also really nice, and the all day long free coffee and tea selection were great. Will definitely consider stay...

Accommodations in Dallas are spread across several downtown neighborhoods, and visitors are wise to consider where they'll be spending most of their time before committing to a particular hotel. This is a city that has staked its reputation on a 'bigger is better' approach to life, and hotels tend toward the large and luxurious.
Dallas may not be world-famous for its sightseeing, but it still has a variety of worthwhile sites. Among these is the Sixth Floor Museum, a particularly compelling museum that explores the facts and theories surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which took place in Dallas in 1963.
Uptown Dallas is where the city’s fashionable people go to have fun. The area is full of modern city high rises and chic dining places, as well as the majority of the trendy nightlife that isn’t found in Downtown Dallas.
