Reserved room was not available, however we were given dinner voucher as apology. Hotel rates a five for convenience, comfort, cleanliness, and friendliness but need to remedy reservation problem. We were told one like we reserved not ready, have dinner on them while waiting for one to be ready. Three hours later, still not available. We do not understand this problem. We accepted a different type room but as long time Hilton Honors customers think this was a poor occurrence

Very well done on the hotel’s part: friendly service, clean, and the location is excellent as I had business meetings with Duke University Health. The only snag I ran into was with Agoda. They charged my card immediately as I expected and it appeared on my statement; however, Cambria was not showing any payment on their end. So, having traveled 8 hours via car, upon my arrival the front desk attendant was not going to allow me into a room until Cambria had proof of payment. I was getting frustrated as I could not reach Agoda customer service (you cannot bypass the prompts until you provide them with a “customer id” which I did not have). The front desk attendant could see my frustration and dropping blood sugar and was very polite. He stated (in my words): Sir, this is an issue between the hotel and Agoda and it is not fair to keep you waiting. Let’s get you to your room. All was well after that and I appreciate his understanding!!

It is located in a reasonably good location.Exterior of building appears to be okay, however, as you enter the front door, building starts showing an unkempt with a gloomy look. Checking in moves at a snail pace. Walls in the lobby have paint peeling off with scratches and dents. The ice machine out of order. Room was smelling like a barn. Again, Bathroom had black spots around toilet base, Pieces of tissue under sink. Faucet has toothpaste stains. Door to bathroom hits the toilet seat and hard to open. This is the first I have ever seen that bathroom door hits a toilet seat. Bath Tub with a loose faucet than needs to be tightened. In Kitchenette a small microwave door can not be opened without pulling microwave out. The wood under microwave is rotten. Again dents and scratches on rest of room furniture. Bedroom linen smells. It is a run down property deserving 2 stars. I don’t know how was it rated 3 star.

2.4 miles from the RDU airport, the hotel is located in a quiet area with business buildings nearby. If driving, the entry to the hotel from Page Road requires a u turn. The room with one king size bed was spacious and well equipped (wifi, a microwave, a refrigerator and a coffee pot). There was no bathtub but the shower was clean and had good water pressure. We had a quiet night sleep. The included breakfast had plenty of choices. Coffee and tea bags are available in the lobby all day. The front seat staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

PROS: The room had two double beds, hard wood floors, and was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. There was a small safe. It was easy to find and close to restaurants. CONS: The TV remote wasn't working, but staff brought it to us as soon as they could and apologized for the delay. Someone allowed their children to play and scream at 1am which the hotel had no control over. I reserved a king bed on the ground floor and was told Agoda sent through two full size which was on the third floor... and the same thing happened to others that night ... again out of the hotels control and all king rooms were full at our 8:30 PM check in. The hot water was to the right and cold was to the left, but luckily that was a small learning curve. CONCLUSION: I will stay here again. It was close to Duke. The bed quality was sufficient. Nothing that happened was a deal breaker. I think it was a great value for the price. No place is like home, but Duke staff was well worth the trip.

Pros - Huge rooms. Lots of towels and amenities. Great cooking area if you're staying long term. Very well stocked kitchenette with good supply of utensils, plates, cups, etc. There's a microwave, dishwasher(!), and full-sized fridge(!). Staff are friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. We had a clogged drain and they got that fixed right away. Cons- Breakfast is terrible. Microwaveable sandwiches (chewy, salty, and greasy). Grits and oatmeal are so dry, they'll sit in your stomach like a lump of rocks. Very little choices. When we first got to our room, housekeeping had left behind trash from the previous guest. Not sure the beds were changed out. Bath drain was clogged, although they did fix that as soon as we requested for maintenance from the front office staff. Good for families. Great for longer stay if you're looking to cook instead of eating out.

It was all great except constant kids screaming out window cussin each other out and throwing ball angainst my window repetivly that really didn’t piss me off as much as the tv not working and they could do anything over weekend no manager or matinee person. Def prettiest one outside and inside lobby but tbh the dark brick one across st on Miami more spacious it seems like full kitchen, and this will be only below 3 star hotel I’ll stay at the other extended stay dark brick one ever again bc that one really is nice and clean rooms. This ones nicer then most just really bugged me having no tv at all and I get they can’t control peoples kids wish I could’ve moved rooms apparently not without manager. I’d stilll recommend over all bc these are in big picture minor things they offer everything they say they will except tv part

There's no one at the front desk half the time. On check in, rang the bell and called out with no response. Used the phone to call someone and was advised he was in the laundry and would be there in a few minutes. Eventually the most miserable guy came out, no "hello", no eye contact. Room was clean and comfortable enough, but the carpets were all sticky and when we showered you could see all the black grime washing off our feet! The free "breakfast" was simply muesli bars and packet oats. Coffee had run out and we had to ask the staff to make more. About a 15 minute drive down two freeways away from anywhere you want to be! (If you're a tourist).

Location is close to where I needed to be. Not bad for a quick trip so no complaints on location. Also, the ladies at the front were nice. On the other hand, the room wasn't well cleaned as there was trash in the dressers as well as hair in and around the shower. I was also looking forward to breakfast before I hit the road, but there was only breakfast bars, coffee, and tea.

After a long day of work, my check-in was delayed due to worked staff trying to find me a room that did not have evidence of recent smoking within the rooms. Three tries later, I settled on a room that did not have recent evidence but still had aroma of a recent past smoker. Then noticed a very runny facet that leaked hot water. After 2 days to attempt to have it fixed, I just stop reporting the other items and stayed away from my room as long as possible each day.
