It's quiet and far away from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur. It's quite chilling at night that no air conditioner is needed.
It is also not crowded, which is good.
Fraser Hill locate at a place with no public transport. It has many natural trail. You decimally will enjoy the peaceful environment here.
Must bring some jacket if you are easily get cold. Car must be serviced before you come, the main road to go up to Fraser Hill and go down from Fraser Hill are one way road. Driving must be careful. Enjoyable place...
Fraser's Hill is not very well developed, that is why they manage to preserve the beauty of the nature.
This was my first time visiting this place and I will come again with other friends who have not been here. After dinner and before we hit the sack, we gathered and chat in a big group. That was really fun. If we are in a big city, everyone will be busy playing with the phone.
A small city. Lots of trails for the adventurous type. Not many eateries. If you are here with large groups, I would suggests to bring along instant noodles or canned food.
It is a small city but it has some nice colonial style architecture. There are not many good food places, especially on the morning so it is advisable to book an hotel that included Breakfast.
There is not much to do in this little City/Village but Bikit Frasier if to enjoy the cooler climate and walking trough nature.
This a small town with lots of character and wonderful views. There a re several resorts for relaxation but the area is well known for the large numbers of birds that can be found there.
It is a bird watchers paradise!! A nice place to "get away".
True love for nature, waterfalls lover and jungle trekkers. If only Fraser Hill has more eateries, the trip would be superb!
It is a very calm place for relaxation. The cosy environment will really make us feel relieved from hectic city environment.
It's a place for total relaxation. There is nothing much to see except birds, if you can catch them. The waterfall is pathetic, water suspect and surroundings full of rubbish and dilapidated huts.
The only thing that's great is the golf course. It's short but challenging. For RM50, you can play the whole day long. Make sure you have plenty of balls with you as the jungle surrounding the narrow fairways swallow up balls by the dozens. Walks and jogging tracks are plentiful. Other than that, Fraser's Hill can be a big yawn.
About 2hrs drive from Kuala Lumpur. Plenty of green. We enjoy out trekking and basis bird watching.
Meet Durai who does great bird tour.
It's still a good hill for people who like to do walking and hiking in the nature with the forestry surroundings.
Lovely town set amongst rainforest with many trails. Perfect climate and very beautiful. Full of charm
If you love cycling the ride up to Fraser's Hill is world class! The town is basic but lovely and well worth a night or two stay.
A small town located on top of mountain surrounded by natural rain forest. Transport to this town is quite difficult, roads are very narrow and winding.
Anyway, it is a good place to relax, tranquil and away from daily urban hustle.
Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the cooling environment and fresh air.
Place is interesting for its surrounding nature. The least interesting is funny like to be a tower clock in the center of the very small city, unfortunately this is being offered as a souvenir in all place in different types which is said as they have much more to offer.
We took our time and walk all over the places except the longest jungle track which has 5km and would be probably the most beautiful but for that we did not had a proper shoes. Rest of tracks are easy and sometimes it is even funny when table in front of the gate advice you to leave your phone number at police station or hotel reception, when track has 500 meters and is used as a short cut... You can see lots of beautiful birds, flowers, we even saw some snakes, but no problem with them. It is good to walk around (local people cannot do this and they even drive from 1 place to another 500 meters :) you can have a nice walk around all hills using normal roads and than go over the hill using jungle track. You will definitely enjoy view from those hills and cool breeze. There is a small park for kids where can whole family play mini golf or in the valley they can take a ride on a horse few times. Christmas Eve dinner in the Smoke House was great (both food and atmosphere).
Nice for a day or two...main town slightly dirty, especially around the clock tower. Cleaner should be there most of the time.
Old unused building should be preserved otherwise demolish. Sore eyes looking at them. Nightlife not so lively, should provide performers.
Maintain the selling point of nice weather and quiet environment. Too much development would damamge the exisitng evironment and lose the main attractive taste.
many hidden treasures abound. outdoor activities such as jungle trekking, horse riding, boating, bird-watching, golfing, archery, country walks are a must.
the surroundings with its colonial buildings makes one feel back in time. proper planning of activities is recommended. much information about fraser hills can be obtained from the internet.
Please go and buy some vegetables from the farm there... super fresh and cheap. You can plug the vege yourself and pay for it later.
Archery is very cheap! Don't forget to visit the organic farm where you can pluck organically grown vegetables! Jungle trekking and bird watching is a must-do activities!
Is a historical colonel style develop town, the building and cool whether give you the feel like you are in a small english town in europe.
Surrounded by virgin jungle, the air is fresh and the weather is cold. If you are looking for a quiet place for relax, reading books or writing books, this is a good place.
It's a great place to relax. Recommended for nature lovers or people who just want to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
Best of all, there aren't many people like Genting Highland. Very few people, and so very quiet, clean and relaxing.
Fraser's Hill is excellent for those looking for relaxation and serenity. There are children's activities for family fun and also jungle trekking for nature appreciation.
The lower temperature is excellent reprieve from the heat in the lower grounds.
there's a jeriau waterfall nearby which is not that clean now, but you may go visit for the experience.
trails are not that tough, but beware of extremely long trails. inform someone if you or your group are going on a long trail. Heard from the locals that people got lost in there.
Fraser Hill is an ideal place to get away from the hectic and busy life of klang valley. It is also a good sport to explore outdoor activities like jungle tracking and bird watch.
IT is also a good place to just come here to do nothing, just relax.
COOL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT .MANY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ABLE TO BE DONE SUCH AS SIGHTSEEING , JUNGLE TRAKING AND ETC.
it is suitable for a quiet retreat with the family & friends. However, much must be done to improve on facilities to attract more tourists/families as it is literally a 'sleepy hollow'
