Greensboro (NC) hotels & places to stay

Facility was fine, room needs a bit of an update but ok, location was great for what we needed-but so many hotels in the area , so no extra brownie points. I booked the room five months in advance through Agoda, but representative insisted the type of room I booked could not be honored. She did not try to get a manager to assist, or even offer condolences for their error. She could care less. I did call Agoda who called the hotel and spoke with the same representative and we're also really spoken to abruptly criticized, and was of no help to them either. Agoda did refund the difference quickly, Agoda was great to work with. I would not recommend this hotel at this location, and plan on using alternative hotels in the area for all future visits.

The people hat work here don’t care. Waited ten mins while the manager (Yolanda) was on her cell phone before even being spoken to. Then another five mins before she actually put the phone down, not hang up just set her cell phone in the counter. Other guests personal info/booking info was just sitting in plain view on the counter. Saw a guy almost run over his GF in the parking lot while unloading. Druggies hanging on stairwells and the property smelled of urine. Floor in our room was sticky. Wore my shoes the whole time. During check out found out they charged us a second time for the room after already paying online. Manager says it will come off we will see. Stay away from this place unless your looking for a disease. Or bugs.

I came to Greensboro to take care of family and stayed at the Extended Stay on Wendover Ave and would not recommend it. Will not get into details. but an unexpected family issue a curd to for me to stay longer. I booked online and was greeted by Robin Shay. I will say that she is an asset to your company. Her friendly personality, knowledge and compassion for customers needs is by far superior to others that I have stayed at. I come to Greensboro 4 times a year and I now have a place to call home away from home when I come up and will recommend your establishment. The rest of the staff were great to deal with. Keep up the good work and thank you again

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to the Sleep Inn to find the parking lot full and the lobby with customers (@7:30pm on a Tuesday night) I was immediately received by the front staff asked the traditional questions in a friendly and quick manner. Given my room key a few moments later and I was off to my room... opened the door to find my self excited about my stay... that night I was only there for a few hours but the bathroom was clean and updated, the shower was also clean and very nice... bed was verry comfortable for my taste and altogether it worked... the room, the bed, the people at the front and the parking situation wasn't that bad either... didn't have a hard time fitting my car upfront and I wasn't awoken by any crazy noises despite being nex to a truck stop and a highway ... I will definitely be back.

I did not enjoy my stay here. The customer service is extremely lacking of care and compassion. I had a room on the first floor and asked if I could be moved to a different floor because I felt uncomfortable. I was told bluntly that all the other rooms were reserved and that I had the best room in the place. He also said the front doors are always watched and that I was safe. My concern was not with the front door, it was with the huge window in my room and I was traveling by myself. I went back to my room since I had to but I was really disappointed on how I was addressed. I'm not sure how busy this hotel gets but the parking lot was practically empty but I do understand if rooms were reserved for the next day not to switch my room. But I highly doubt ALL the rooms were reserved. The older gentlemen "watching" the front was busy talking on his personal phone when I checked in and was sitting on a chair in the lounge area. I did not feel welcomed. I felt like I was a bother for him. I wasn't too excited either when I found a dirty sock in my room by the AC unit and window. I won't be booking a room here ever again.

The night we stayed came in room there was a towel behind door thought well housecleaning forgot no big deal, come to find out someone had apparently wet the bed my husband got in n got wet well staff brought new sheets he still got wet we put towels on top she did offer us another room hubby was fed up said no wed been walking n driving all day, next morning I got a few scrambled eggs looked down the was something small almost clear looked like invisible caterpillar in,my eggs, my husband checked out said they didn't offer or say anything about room I just kept my mouth shut about eggs figured what's the use didn't care slept in bed been peed in why care about bugs in eggs

I didn't know what to expect when arriving because I did get such a good deal on the hotel using the Agoda app. The hotel was very nice. Everything was very modern and the breakfast buffet was the best I had ever experienced even in the high pride hotels.

My only issue was the selection for breakfast. I do not eat bread and that was 90% of your choice. Variety was almost nil.

The motel was very clean, inside and out. The staff was very nice & accommodating, the problems was the elevator was not running as well as it should have been, I was on it and it took like 3 minutes for the door to open...very scary, the day of check out someone actually got stuck in it. The the lobby where you check in out had no air conditioner, the room next to ours had strong odor of marijuana coming through the bathroom vent, and there wasn't a ventilation fan for the bathroom especially after showering.

From the beginning things were wrong. The bathroom light didn't work in the first room. We were switched. The second room the light didn't always stay on the first time. They didn't make the beds the first day The second day they made the beds but took away the towels and didn't replace them. The toilet seat was loose and paint scratched to bare wood. Fortunately, a woman named Patricia at the front desk was polite and very helpful. She saved the day for the hotel, but she should not have had to do so. Kudos for her. Thumbs down for the place.

The staff at this hotel were about the friendliest I've had the pleasure to meet. Whether the lady who fixed breakfast or the man getting the pool ready in the early morning, they were always willing to talk and see if you were comfortable. The free breakfast was good and had a LOT of variety. I'll be going back too Greensboro soon and will definitely stay here.

We have tried to CANCEL but couldn't get ahold of Agoda. We lost our entire home and contents and on the way to the motel was roads washed out so we never made it and wanted to cancel. Will let You know if we get a refund from Agoda or if we dont.

Rooms were clean, price was good, it was quiet, the non-smoking room was in fact non-smoking, location was easy to get on and off I-40. Staff were helpful. When traveling, what more could you ask for.

My daughter (age 13) and I participated in an event at the Greensboro Coliseum. The proximity of this hotel was our deciding factor as well as the price. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was extremely clean and very well maintained. As two women traveling alone, we felt very safe as well. The staff was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was filthy!! Stains were on the comforters and carpet. Dead bugs were everywhere. I will NEVER stay at a place like that again. It was the worst experience......

Given the following scenario, how could one make a recommendation? Imagine all-day travelling and arriving in the late evening-in the rain-in North Carolina, in an unfamiliar city...Now, imagine the shock to find that your booking was cancelled without knowledge or notification and it was due change in ownership/management.

It is clear I was taken advantage of by paying 3x the normal rate which is unethical. If I had any idea and knew the area better I would have not made this mistake. This was my first time to Greensboro.

I like how neat the room was laid out and clean very friendly staff somewhat of a quiet place

Only problem was other guests arrived at 3 30 am and were talking loud outside of our room. Your staff can't control that rudeness.

Great staff, clean, location is great with restaurants in the area. Even have transportation to/from airport.
