Hyderabad is a city in the full sense of the word , as are Kolkata , Bombay and Delhi ; well laid-out , large avenues , sectors of well-defined different natures , and an airport of internationl level : a city where it is agreable to move through , even if trafic can be a bit dense sometimes .
The Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and Golconda Fort are world class tourist attractions and deserve at least a few hours each.
Do not rent a car. If you are American you will not be able to drive in Hyderabad. but the taxi drivers are well versed and inexpensive.
Poeple here very nice and helpful, willing to help when we ask something from them, although not all able to speak English.
Hussainsagar Lake, NTR Gardens, KBR Park, Salarjung Museum, Charminar and Golkonda fort are some of the attractions of Hyderabad.

The tourism in this area need to be improved it is not at all ready to take a flowing crowd of tourists and please don't visit Paradise hotel .
The famous Salar Jung museum should not be missed, besides the famous Hyderabadi Biryani, and of course the Charminar and its surroundings.

Hyderabad seemed to be a much nicer city than Chennai which i visited prior to flying here. It's really booming due to the hi-tech industry and new buildings are going up everywhere.
