"Nice new hotel with cleanliness. Very convenient location. Only issue I faced was that there was no laundry. It can be done in Iso Myy Shopping Centre about 10 minutes walk. The Shopping Centre is closed on Sunday. The shower room was tiny and was only separated from toilet by a shield, so the water often spilled to the toilet floor. I did not care so much, but might be an annoyance if you are a bath lover."

"The hotel is right next to the railway station so was an excellent choice for us travelling to Helsinki the next day. it is also well placed for visiting Joensuu town itself. We thought the restaurant was expensive and there did not seem to be many eating places close by. The hotel decor seems a bit dated and it probably caters more for business and conference visitors. However, the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast excellent."
