“Thank you KSL for great hospitality during my stay. Love the facilities and the room. Breakfast is limited but still okay. I have a great stay during my visit to Johor Bahru.”

“There was a mistake in my booking & I realized only during check-in. However thanks to Agoda & KSL, I managed to resolve the problem & the staff who attended to me (tall Malay girl) was very patient & helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Shopping is just downstairs. Breakfast was good with many variety on offer & helpful staff. Guests can rest at the lounge while waiting for check-in (brilliant idea - wish more hotels can do this!) Only grouse was the parking. I checked in on a Sunday & the mall parking was full so had to drive up to the higher levels. Small thing & did not in anyway affect my stay here. I highly recommend KSL Resort to anyone wanting a good hotel in Johor Bahru.”

“Last minute, no-fuss booking at a bargain price, over a long holiday weekend, was made possible with Agoda.com. Other sites offered prices 50% more than what Agoda.com offered. Very attentive and helpful staff during midnight check-in. Clean room and facilities. Hot water shower facility and a bathtub. Basic toiletries with 2 freshly laundered bath towels, 2 hand towels and floor towel mats were provided. Double bed not available for non-smoking room. However two large single beds, each able to accommodate 2 average size adults, was more than adequate & comfortable. This hotel has seen much better days as a premier hotel in Johor Bahru. Late check-out at 2pm. was offered upon request. If you are driving, covered FREE parking is available for hotel guests. At a bargain offer of RM153 per night, I recommend The Puteri Pacific Hotel in Johor Bahru. It may have seen glorious days in the past but its 5 star charm, hospitality and comfort is evident & welcomes the weary traveller.”

“Simply one of the best I've experienced around the world, and definitely the best, the number 1 choice if you are looking to stay in Johor Bahru. Excellent location, just beside KSL shopping, of course you have ksl resort as an option which is located above the shopping mall, but the staff service is nothing compared to the ones at Holiday villa. The cleanliness, the room, the comfy bed, the infinity pool (as raved by many), and above all, the staff service was simply awesome. You can never find a hotel better than this in Johor Bahru, if not the whole of Malaysia, and beats alot of hotel hands down world wide. At an affordable rate of average $85 per night, you can have all the best sleep of your night. 5 star rating and recommend to all to stay here.”

“Stayed at Amari for one night with my partner and I must say the hotel's location is fantastic and ideal for a short trip across the Causeway. It is just a short walk from the Johor Bahru checkpoint and across the road from two popular shopping malls — City Square and Komtar JBCC. In terms of customer service, we had a pleasant check-in experience and received a free upgrade to a junior suite (we had originally booked an executive club king room). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, nothing to complain about at all. The "pillow menu" we found at our bedside table was a nice welcome touch as well although we did not utilise it. Breakfast buffet selection was also quite varied and we enjoyed it very much. We did not manage to try the rest of the dining options at Amari given our short stay. While Amari's rates are certainly more expensive than the average hotel in Johor Bahru, I'd say it's worth the splurge especially if you're looking for a nice place for a quick getaway.”

“New York hotel in Johor Bahru is conveniently located close to Singapore border. This makes the hotel a great hotel for business travelers or family going on vacation to Singapore but would prefer to stay in Malaysia. The rooms have recently been refurbished and its more modern and a more spacious feel. Amenities are plenty which includes an indoor swimming pool, massage center, hair salon and sundry shop which also has currency exchange if you need. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and for those who drive, the hotel offers plenty of parking.”

“If you want a hotel that is close to Legoland, then this is an ideal choice. We stayed over the weekend with 2 young kids and drove to Legoland on Saturday morning, and reached within 15 minutes. There was very little traffic. Hotel Granada is also situated right in front of Aeon Mall so it's easy to find food while staying here. There's a McDonalds right next door too, so easy when you need to grab a quick meal. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast spread was modest. All in all, a value for money hotel if you want a quick stay in Johor Bahru.”

“thistle is our regular hotel in johor bahru, malaysia due to the value for money and hygiene level. location of hotel located on its own and if you want to travel out, you will need either your own vehicles or a cab. the bell boy would be more than willingly to get a cab for you at a charge of rm$2 (fixed booking charge of this rate for all cabs in johor bahru) room size (deluxe vs standard) all rooms are spacious as compared to other hotels i had stayed in. deluxe room have a bigger toilet but small living quarter whereas the standard room have a bigger living quarter but a smaller toilet size. hygiene standard rooms are pretty clean just that there are some bed-sheets that had stained in it; most probably they could not remove it. other than that, the hygiene standard is pretty good. deluxe room also come with an extra chair and the bed is way bigger. recommend to just go for the standard room which is cheaper if you are on a budget and someone who is going to spend most of your time in the living quarter and not the toilet and does not need the extra chair. room view the rooms are located too far away from the sea and the city view is facing a miserable highway therefore i’ll strongly recommend you to stick to the cheapest grade of room (standard room; city view) and not upgrade your room just for the sea view as recommended by others unless you do not mind forking out the extra money (pictures of the view are attached) *some sea-view room face the hospital and you will be able to hear the ambulance siren at night. i stayed at a pretty high floor room and yet still able to hear them. request for a room that is not facing the hospital if you are looking for some quality sleep.”

“This hotel have truly friendly staff and good service. Breakfast is nod bad. Roof top pool is cool. The restaurant which located at 14th floor has stunning view. This is my 4th time staying here. My only choice of hotel in Johor Bahru.”

“basically this can be considered the best business class hotel in Johor bahru. maybe a bit pricey as compared to near by hotels but worth the money that you pay; in terms of comfort, service, location and security. all amenities in the room are what you can expect to have in a 5 star hotel. exterior of building may look a bit run down. but the inside is much better. will definitely visit it again.”

“We were 3 adults and 2 young children having a night's staycation at Doubletree, the service by their staff totally amazed me and I forgotten that I'm in Johor Bahru, they were smiling from the point I touch down from my cab, the door men, reception staff etc.....we were given 5 warm cookies, snacks and welcome drinks which exceeded my expectations, I think they deserve a 5 star for their hospitality! As for the breakfast, they have a wide selection of food, however I noticed that some of the cooked food had turned cold and hence it doesn't taste as nice. Hope the hotel can take note of that. Otherwise, I am very impressed with this JB hotel and would love to have my staycation there again.”

“I felt very comfortable when staying at Amansari Express Hotel for family room. I will recommended for family members and friends to choose this hotel when they coming to Johor Bahru. The location was good, near to the checkpoint of Singapore. The room was big, cleanliness and very nice. I will continue to stay at this hotel again when i coming to the Johor Bahru & Singapore for the next time.”

“Stayed for a night in their one bedroom, it was beyond my expectation and far best stay so far in Johor Bahru. Apartment is newly opened. The parking was quite safe and I can assure that - especially for Singaporeans who have second thoughts on parking their motorbikes in Johor Bahru. The security guards were very attentive, seen them doing round checks in the premises. The check in was swift and the rooms are really clean and comfortable. Check in time was at 3pm but we checked in way earlier around 2pm. Was issued a room key however it was not really ready when we were outside our room. Waited for 10 minutes to be in the room but it is fine for me. Location is good for solo travellers too as the hotel was just a walking distance to Komtar JBCC and City Square. There’s 7-11 convenient store just right at the hotel lobby in case you need to get something urgently. Now, the cons about the apartment was the parking you have to pay on your own. (It comes with a price I guess) And the major turn off - their housekeeper was very rude. Knocked the door several times at 10:45AM to tell us to check out when we clearly knew the check out time was 12PM. Leave that alone, the housekeeper repeatedly knocked the door again at 12PM SHARP. How intense was that. I dont remember requesting the front desk to get someone for my wake up call. She was also rude when we asked the other housekeeper to confirm the check out time. She gave us her unpleasant death stare and walked away when the other housekeeper was apologizing on her behalf. Very rude and unprofessional. I hope the management can look into this matter. Other than that, theres nothing much to point out. Will still give the 5 star rating!”

“This is my 4th time stay at KOHO because the location of the hotel. And also it is value for money. Definitely will stay here for my next Johor Bahru visit.”

“(1) the apartment floor was very oily when checked in (2) only 1 bath towel inside the toilet. Can only get the other towel next morning when housekeeping is available. (3) Last time during my previous stay, I was told the housekeeping was from 8am to 8pm but this time round the counter staffs said housekeeping is only open from 8am to 12pm!!! Wondering how they do the housekeeping when customer check out at 1pm!!? Meaning the room have to wait until next morning 8am can be tidy up!!!! Rediculous! Right? (4) Cusotnwr service was very poor, response time was super very slow! I have to go all the way down to the Level counter to inform them in order to get thing done or answer queries.”

“1) Safe parking with guards 2) Quiet hotel area, close to Stulang Sea beach (tomato and halal seafood) 3) Spacious room, comfortable, friendly staff counter 4) My favorite and 1st choice hotel when visiting Johor Bahru 5) Near by 99 SpeedMart shopping, CIMB Bank and RHB Bank...”

“I was going to Legoland Malaysia with my wife and my son and we stayed at Somerset Medini for 3D2N. The hotel was really excellent and all the staff very helpful. 1. The location is just 5 mins walking distance to Legoland ( Theme Park and Water Park ) and Medini Mall 2. Somerset Medini provides shuttle car from hotel to Hello Kitty Town & Thomas & Friend location. 3. From City Square Mall / Johor Bahru Customs is just about 20 mins to reach the hotel ( SOMERSET ). 4. All the staff ( Receptionist, Security, etc ) are very helpful indeed. 5. The room is big ( because I stay with my family ) and very clean. I would like to suggest my friends too”

“I will only check in Midori if I am staying over in Johore Bahru. Have been going since 2018. The place is well maintained unlike other hotels in JB. I like the design and concept of this boutique hotel-though small but all contained. Brought several different groups of friends & all loved it. The staff are wonderful too especially Justin. Will definitely go back.”

“the stay was enjoyable, the breakfast spread was more than decent although a little bit of class in the item such as single serving desserts will be welcome. the pool was decent and most importantly very clean, although more furniture for the swimming pool would be nice. what is not so nice is that there are not enough things going on surrounding the hotel, with Johor Bahru city still about 30 mins away.”

“The staff were friendly & efficient, the room & bathroom were clean and spacious. Other facilities include led tv with 12 channels, mini fridge, complimentary bottled water & coffee & tea , hair dryer & iron. Only thing lacking is a cafe at the hotel. However, 7 shop houses away is a 24 hour mamak restaurant & further is a Chinese & western restaurants. Recommended for those looking for a nice & reasonably priced hotel in Skudai, Johor Bahru.”

“Highly recommended for business travelers as it is easy access to all the major highways, to Johor Bahru or to Singapore. On the other hand, there are many restaurants nearby and also super market, such as Giant and Tesco which is in walking distance. Really convenience.”

“This was my first time staying at this hotel in Johore Baru with 9 other family members from 6 ~ 10 February 2016, and it was a wonderful experience! Not only Belllo Hotel among many other budget hotels in close proximity, it is impressively new, clean, comfortable, great and convenient location with 7/11 next door, 24-hour food shops, shopping malls and checkpoint all within short walking distance; our 2016 CNY stay was perfected by the great team led by the Operation Manager, Mr. Kartikh Balakrishnan. Apart from the aforesaid tangible aspects, customer services and expectations are more important to excite our holiday moods and to make our stay exceptionally memorable and unforgettable! It is worth to mention that, it was terrible to call for taxi during the CNY. When Mr. Kartikh managed to secured three taxi to fetch us to our CNY eve reunion dinner, at last, the taxi driver broke his promise without informing the hotel and had phone shut off! Frankly, I would never expect a hotel manager would proactively fetching us using his own personal car to and from restaurants with multiple trips! He even firmly declined to accept our token of appreciation in lieu of the taxi fare we are supposed to pay! Caring, attentive and thoughtful customer service are what spice up our recent stay that are suffice to cover up other shortfalls if any. I would have no hesitation to return to this hotel again and would definitely recommend Belllo Hotel to all holiday-goers going to Johore Baru. Thank you, Mr. Kartikh, Ziera, Shah, Alice, Bryan, Sol, Devi, Sal, Mattias, Ioan, Ben and Awal who have served us well. Keep up the good service!”

“just right behind the jusco tebrau city. easier to find parking, lovely design room. great hotel in JOHOR BAHRU”

“I was staying at Citrus Hotel, Johor Bahru for 4 days and 3 nights during my family vacation. The first impression when i saw the hotel from outside, "OMG, this hotel must be very old, scary, bla bla bla.." But that was totally wrong when i step in to the hotel reception. we were welcomed with a big smile the receptionist also is very friendly. Step in the room, i was amazed with the modern deco & a very clean room.. When i enter to the toilet, i feels like i was at my home's toilet.. Eventhough the hotel does not provided hotel car park, but i am very satisfied with my stay there... when we were hungry, we just have to walk in behind the hotel building & there were lots of food stalls with variety of foods to choose. Shopping?!! just walk beside the hotel building & you can shopped at City Square, Johor Bahru.. Overall, staying in Citrus Hotel, Johor Bahru giving me a different view on budget hotel & i will definitely choose this hotel if we come to JB in future...”

“The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The rooms and corridor has been newly renovated. The rooms are spacious, bed are comfy, room facilities are well arranged, toiletries are sufficient. This hotel deserves more than a three stars rating. Location is extremely good. The hotel are surrounded by most of the favourite/popular shopping centres and hawkers in Johor Bahru. Such as the tebrau hawker and KSL shopping mall just behind, pelangi just up a little, and a night hawker selling really delicious local food just across the road. All these places are within walking distance. Breakfast spread are considered good and atas (for the price you paying) with Egg station. I greatly recommend this hotel to everyone. Looking forward to my next visit. CONS: Shower heater abit slow in heating up the water. I have to let the water run for 15 minutes before I could step in. TV channels abit bland with local channels. Can be improved by adding some Movie Channels like Fox or HBO or Thrill.”

“Our family had a relax 3 day stay at the hotel - modern design and facilities. Easy access to the underground carpark . Breakfast was good and of wide varieties of local and international food. They have strong Wifi signal throughout the hotel. The pool is also child friendly and maximum depth of 1.2m - my son enjoyed very much. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The only grouse is the hotel entrance is only accessible from the main road in one direction and we need to make a U turn at the junction quite far away if we coming from Johor Bahru. There are plenty local eateries, fast food restaurant, massage joints all walking distance from the hotel. Overall is a quiet place for full relaxation away from town. Will visit again sometime soon”

“Hotel location nearest to Iskandar Malaysia Johor Bahru. Easy to find food. 5 minutes walk to AEON Mall”

“The hotel in itself is great, clean and the room are nice. The neighborhood around is very lively, there's a lot of restaurant choices. BUT you are not in Johor Bahru, you will be in Skudai, which means that you have to take a bus (2,50 RM and 45min to JB center) or a Grab/Taxi (20RM for a Grab around 25/30RM for a cab, it will take around 35min). We recommend it if you don't mind being out of town, if you want to stay in Johor Bahru you better book another accomodation.”

“It's just 1min walk from Larkin Bus Terminal. The bed was clean, but only 1 washing basin for the entire floor. The staff was very nice and gave me some suggestion about where to go in Johor Bahru (but just for the record, it's not safe to go to Senibong at night by bus)”

“So i booked a room, intended for only 1 night stay. came with wife, and 2 kids (5 and 2 yrs old). clean room, linen also clean, quiet as well. Was surprised that the toilet actually is shared toilet (i did not specifically look if the toilet is actually in the room when i book), but even so, the toilet is also very clean and tidy. Definitely recommended if you are only looking for a night to sleep, and ok with having shared toilet.”

“Hostel offer the closet proximately to the Johor immigration by 15 min walk. Walking to the immigration johor Malaysia will bring you the the Singapore woodland. We have a good indoor basket ball, badminton court and community park just two row of house back of the hostel. From hostel to the community sport, leisure park food court, grocery stall and famous seafood is just 10min walk. If you are adventure enough you can try local famous food”

“this is my first time staying in a shared room in malaysia and it's a positive experience. the room was smaller than i thought, but it's adequate enough for someone who's only there for the night. i wish the power outlet is not situated in the wall because it's inconvenient for larger chargers. other than that, i'd recommend this hotel for a traveller on a budget, who doesn't mind sharing small spaces with strangers.”

“I stayed there longer than I was originally supposed to and I'm glad I did. I got the chance to meet the owner who is super cool. The staff is super helpful even tough they don't speak english very well, they will go out of their way to make you comfortable and help you out. The only downside I can think of is that it's far from downtown Johor Bahru. Once you get used to the public transport, it's no big deal though. I definitely recommend you stay at Sekai's if you happen to go through JB.”

“This is my first time staying at this hotel after getting to know its rating of 8.2 on Agoda. So, I booked a room with window. Although it is a budget hotel, it has unbelievably complete facilities such as flat screen tv, iron, iron board, jug kettle, cups, hair dryer, coffee and teas, flask to keep warm water. A table to place my laptop to do my work, a chair and toiletries (including toothbrush, shampoo, body wash). Excellent wifi of 2.4G and 5G. A padang restaurant and a self laundry service next door, a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Would recommend family and friends to stay at this hotel. However, lack of parking space”

“The hotel lobby was pleasant. Eventhough the front desk personnel was not well versed in English, they tried their best to communicate. The room was ok although there was shit in the toilet. It was disgusting. I had to complain about it. They were nice enough to upgrade our room due to the inconvenience. They did not ask us to pay for the upgrade. It was 1KM close to the mall but if you would have an emergency in the middle of the night, pretty much you're dead. Make sure to have enough food til the next morning and medicine in case someone gets sick.”

“I love everything is grand hallmark Johor Bahru ”

“I bumped with this hotel when searching for a budget hotel for my stay in Johor Bahru for my Legoland trip. Never heard about this hotel before (usually stay at New York Hotel) and decided to give it a try. To my surprise that this hotel was very clean and comfortable. The family suite that I booked was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable (there were 6 of us altogether). The breakfast was good too. The only thing that the management should improve is the selection of TV channels. There were no Malaysia TV channels available (there were only Singapore and Indonesia channels available). Overall, if you are looking for a hotel that is cheap but value for money, this is the one.”

“Overall was good, just the location was a bit not convinience for traveller that not driving here. But luckily the hotel management site maybe been consider on what the not convinience problem n they provide short distance sending service for all traveler for their hotel. They have 2 van driver with them one who name MR. RASHYDY was a very responsible, friendly and helpful enough driver. He given a lot of information of what we need to looking for while I'm here in their hotel and he drive with careful and slow attitude to comfort the guest while all the way he sending hotel guest. Thanks so much to all their friendly and helpful hotel stuff. I will definitely continue my stay with them every visit of me to Johor bahru”

“only a 10mins cab ride from the johor bahru city square mall the cab fare was $14rm at the beginning there is no more deluxe room i booked.. and they upgraded to suite for me! and i only book 3hours ago. great efficiency there. once you step into the hotel room the room is very spacious and nice with cute drawings on the wall the tv is just right in front of the bed and a mirror at the back.. on the bed you can easily reach out to the sink to wash hand been to malaysia a few times to different hotel this is the best yet!! the cleanliness is better than 5 star hotel and the price is so much cheaper!! great for couples to go”

“a bit noisy, et the ground floor room but it is clean n neat. basic 2-star room. it's good for such a cheap room”

“Hotel is very nice and very clean. Staff is friendly. Basic amenities are there. Wifi is really good. It is very good value for money. Downside is the poor location. But there are places to eat nearby. Own transportation is required.”

“We stayed here for our trip to Little big club. Main reason why we picked the hotel was because the reviews said it was close to a lot of restaurants. As Muslims we had a hard time finding food in this area as most are Chinese restaurants and they're most likely to serve non-halal food items. If you're a non Muslim then there are plenty of restaurants and Chinese hawker style food courts. The sutera mall is near and they have subway, kfc and other stuff but we wanted johor food that's why we had to go closer to the city”

“The room is cozy for anyone who’re looking for a budget hotel. I spilled a glass of red wine on the carpet and the staffs told me everything is fine. It’s full of backpackers and sometimes family coming from Singapore and Malaysia to stay a night before moving to other city. The only problem is you’ll have hard time finding taxi. So make sure you have someone that can pick you up or get the local taxi number.”

“I reached de hotel at 230am from a long drive from KL, when reached de hotel, the counter informed me that my Agoda booking is not in de system, cannot check-in. I have called Agoda, then Agoda asked call OYO Management, after that OYO Management ask call back to Agoda to confirm and due to de hotel room fully book, OYO Management ask me ask Agoda to arrange me to another hotel, when I called Agoda to explained to them that time already 330am, why de arrangement still cannot solve, the best part is Agoda's customer services - Ms Rhea said she cannot help, ask me to refund and find myself de hotel, I strongly unstratified that I received this kind of "Customer Services" from Agoda & OYO Management. Finally, I need to appreciate the Front Desk people to help me solve it by requested me to copy them de Confirmation Letter, they will manually key into their system and allow me to check into de hotel, thus, I need thanks to the hotel front desk but not the OYO Management, thanks”

“My family and I enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Hotel Ariana, I will definitely booked my stay with them again in the future. Both the lady counter staffs were very friendly. Sorry did not got their names though.”

“Second day - Main Fan is dirty and still got mosquito.. But aircon is cold. Washroom clean. Just near by the shop is close and nothing much to eat. Location need to go further to get great shopping complex such as Giant, Tesco and Courts Malaysia. Location no bus stop and taxi stand. Need to book an taxi. Overall... Good..”

“I've Booked in Total of 2 Executives Suite Rooms and 2 Deluxe Superior Room on the 13/10/2013-15/10/3013 for the my Big Family, We always travel together in a big group.. This was my first stay in Hotel Masai Utama. We came on the 13th October as Early at 10am and we are so happy to ger a warm welcoming friendly reception staff there.. The happiest things, eventhough we came early, All our 4 rooms is ready for us to check in and have an early check in..Their Staff was so helpful, accomadating and always smiling.. Even when we have our breakfast the staff at the cafe was very friendly and always smiling... 3-5 mins Drive to Kip Mart, we can get many foods there, not to worry about being hungry... Great Staffs really make our stayed just at home !!!!”

“Despite it being easy on the budget, slightly surprised at how worth it i-Hotel was. For the price, I had a nice night in a quiet part of town to rest. The staff were really courteous and obliging and the decor and comfort level of the hotel exceeded my expectations. Definitely in my favourites list if I travel to Johor Bahru again.”

“Second time staying in the same hotel. Satisfied with the services provided. Hope to stay again if travelling to johor again.”

“The room and bathroom is very clean. It makes me feel I'm having shower at my home bathroom. Good price, cozy, clean and comfortable with good WiFi. There is place to park your car and it's free. However the surrounding looks quiet especially at night with many shop lots not taken up or business closed permanently. The hotel is in a small, ghost town but it's quite near to the Johor premium outlet. I would still highly recommend this place as it is clean and budget friendly. Please maintain the good job.”

“I had the family room with 3 adults and 2 infants. Though room is small, it has a long bench to put luggages. The hotel/motel is new so it is very clean. It comes with coffee tea facilities and free wifi. It takes about 15 minutes to Legoland and 20 minutes to Johor Premium Outlet. The only thing I think it could do better is to provide a glass panel to its shower room as the bathroom is small and with it's open shower area the water splashes everywhere.”

“This is a budget hotel that I chose to spent a night before proceeding on to another hotel the following day. Have stayed in several other budget hotels in the area and this is the best by far. The furnishing is quite impressive for a budget hotel - e.g. the lighting in the room, the elevator and the art decor near the lift. It almost feels luxurious for a hotel of this category. Of course, it is still a budget hotel at the end of the day. There is no fridge in the room and minimal storage space. Lots of local eateries and shops nearby.”

“Hotel is located within 5mins walking distance to Larkin Sentral. Its recommended for those who wish to depart via coaches, city buses or taxis from Larkin to any part of Malaysia or S'pore. Many 24 hours local eateries around the area. Just be reminded that this hotel do not have elevator or escalator. Collect your towels, remotes for tv & aircon once after your checking in stuffs done. Payments accepted in RM cash only.”

“This is my third time in Johor Bahru. I'm not a frills type of guy. I just want a clean place and most important is internet service. There are no windows in the rooms I've had. But it's clean (to me) and it has a private bath and shower. I can stay here for a 4 or 5 days for the price of one night in a small Singapore Chinatown hotel or for the same price as a low end youth hostel. Then again I like eating at the street restaurants with the local people. This is not a place for the people who need to see eye candy all around them.”

“The hotel is recommended if you are a backpacker or looking for a very basic room to stay in. I stayed in the double-decker room with my girlfriend. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was cold enough. However the room could get quite claustrophobic for certain people as it is quite small.there is only enough room for one person to stand next to the beds and not much storage space. The lighting in the room is also quite dim. It is near Legoland and a shopping center, but not near Johor Bahru. My friend in Johor Bahru had to travel far to drive us around. The shared bathroom is clean although there were many small bugs and it could get smelly sometimes. Do note that shoes are left at the counter, so don't bring used shoes. It's located on the second floor,so you need to climb up a flight of stairs.Difficult if you have heavy luggage. Basic comfortable stay, but not recommended for stays more than three nights, unless you are used to sleeping in tight spaces.”

“I'm having a wonderful 2 nights stay at this hotel for a price of RM94 including GST per night. The furniture is fresh, clean and new as the hotel just been in operation on 1st November 2015. The beds, pillows and towels are so comfortable as they are using a high end material. The Restroom is quite spacious and the water heater functioning well with a suitable water pressure. The best part of staying in this hotel is the friendly treatment from all their staff especially Dilla 1. For the price i pay and the excellent hospitality I do recommend this hotel for others to experience and hopefully the management will maintain and preserve the quality of this hotel.”

“We booked a studio type but gave us a 2 bedroom condo unit complete with a kitchen and utensils so its value for money. Except for some minor maintenance issues like tissue holder at bathroom being loose and could be not used, broken lever of kettle for boiling water (I have to figure out how to turn it on) and instruction on how to use the induction cooker (I was not able to use it), the facilities would have been perfect. More saucepan in the kitchen would be icing on the cake. The unit where we stayed comes with a water purifier so you dont have to buy water which is very handy and saves us the hassle. The unit was spacious and the 2 bathrooms are well appointed. We stayed here for our trip to Legoland which is just across, and would love to stay longer for some rest. The place would be great for stay-cation activity.”

“the hotel grounds are huge and were very nicely decorated. the staff, especially receptionist Nabil, was really nice and kind. we got upgraded too. really enjoyed the stay. it felt like a whole new world in Johor.”

“As we suddenly decided to stay one more night in Johor so we booked the 3 bedrooms apartment at the very last minute (8.30pm) and we checked in at 10pm . The office was closed but luckily we managed to call the staff and they responded in prompt . The staff came to us within 5 min only and brought us to the apartment . The staff is polite , friendly and help us on the luggage taking also . Once we found that the bathroom amenities were not provided , we informed the staff and he sent to us in quick . I personally think that it is worth for a short stay at a reasonable price especially for group .The room view is good too . I do hope that the cleanliness can be improved as I found the bedsheets are quite dusty but acceptable . Special thanks to Mr. Lai for the warm service .”

“We checked in very late but communicated well with Mr Hood who waited patiently to pass us the house keys. Checking out was hassle free too. Location is superb but unfortunately its CNY so KSL mall closed for business. Other than that, we have also feedback Mr Hood few things and he assured us that he will talk to the boss and we do hope the next time we come theres some improvements. No problem to book for grabs as the location is easy to find. Theres few 24hrs local halal restaurants around the area so no worries. Anyways no hiccups while staying there just minor basic things. Will come back.”

“ah.. forgot the guy name. but he's young and nice. room is clean and have complementary wifi and parking lot. there is swimming pool at level 7, mind you, its cold! :D on the other side most machine in gym like elliptical and treadmill where out of service.”

“The tenant is very helpful and give a msg very clear to easy us check in early, house is very clean and suitable for family with young children! location near shopping mall and alot shop lot.”

“The host, CP has kept the unit very clean and the space layout is good and nicely designed; ample for us. The sofa bed was setup for us with pillows and comforter. Although we didn't need the extra blankets and pillows in the closet, it was nice to have as spare. There were also complimentary coffee, milo sachets and mineral water that came in handy; well-thought of the host, CP. Likewise, basic amenities such as towels, bath & hand soap and shampoo were also provided. CP is a very responsive, friendly and accommodating host. He even kept us informed of a Jazz festival event happening during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and next time if we are at Puteri Harbour, we will definitely book with him again. Thank you, CP and great knowing you. Thumbs UP!”

“Everything is good. Clean and have lot of beds for group or big family. Pic is not the same as shown but the owner is friendly and fast to respond. Only thing no wifi. Unless u ask for it. Will visit again”

“This is a rare condo unit located above level 30th with excellent view of johor Bahru from the balcony . Great for a group of 4 or 3 friends for a weekend staycation in JB. Ms Julia was very kind to wait for us to checkin, great service. We will come back again. Thank you Julia.”

“Everything is good.. Worth it!!! 1-Nice environment and cleanliness. 2-great support for any questions while staying, helpful and friendly owner. 3-great location-easy and convenience to get restaurant, massage place and shopping complex.”

“The locations is fantastic as the residence is inside KSL mall itself. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Owner forgotten to provide the towels, but was very prompt to take action and deliver them quickly. The apartment was on a high floor which was a great view of JB city. The only disappointment was the shower water heater.. there was nearly no heated water at all. Overall is a pleasant stay.”

“I have booked many hotels with Agoda and they were all great. But this time I was very disappointed. This apartment is owned by a individual who was not very hospitable. The owner did not tell the rules until the apartment was paid for. I requested early check in or late check out and they totally ignored my request not replying me. Secondly I had had someone come to hand me the key. We went in with our footwear and were checking the WiFi collection. The staff took a photo of us and sent it to the owner. I did not give him permission to take my picture. It is breach of privacy. The owner immediately what's app me rudely. "what? you walked in with shoes. Didn't you read the rules?" I find this very offending. All the staff had to do was remind us to remove the shoe and we would have done it. I will never recommend this apartment. Rude staff and ridiculous rules. And they will photograph you in the room without your permission.”

“Place is clean, spacious. Not a hotel, just the same like airbnb. If driving, i will advise you to collect your key card first before driving up to the parking lot... there's no access from the parking except walking down the car ramp.”

“The place is new and clean, nice sea view, owner is friendly , hence I had enjoyed my night ! I will definitely choose here again if I travel to Johor.”

“Apartment very good & View very nice. This apartment is like new.If i come to Johor,i will stay here again.”

“It’s was a horrible stay. Sofa were spoilt. Lift system is lousy, 3 individual own system. take very long time and often full during peak hour. Have to go down via stairs to reach to car park. Overall, it’s really a bad experience. Despite the location were good, the go-thru link door only open from 10am-10pm. If u go for mid night movie At Ksl, u have to go by lvl 6.”

“Is to our surprised it is like AirBnb since we want to book hotel that's why we use Agoda. After making booking, the owner contacted us and we have to liase with the owner which we find it troublesome. However, the owner has good service and fast response. Clean Room and good location. A little dissappointed with Agaoda Apps since we though only hotel is available and for future we have to aware it may be AirBnb type.”

“First of all, I would like to thanks the host for accommodating with my change of timing. Was agreed to check in at 3pm but due to the jam, we only check in at 7pm. The host is super friendly. Second her house is very big and clean. All the furniture is like brand new. The children enjoy themselves just be climbing the staircase up and down. The place also have a guard house.”

“Teega Suites is no doubt a new property but the room we stayed was really disgusting and dusty. The bedsheet was full of fibers, the quilt cover and pillows smell. There were A LOT of hair on the floor & carpet and layer of dust could be seen literally everywhere - tv console, cupboards, kitchen top... We felt really disgusted and had to buy new pillow cases to sleep on, and cleaned the whole house after we bought cleaning tools from supermarket. There were only 2 bath towels and 1 kitchen towel availble in the whole apartment. No hand or face towel. Kitchen can see but cannot use as there was no pots/pans/bowls/cutlery, basically nothing provided except for a few cups and an electric kettle. Initially we thought it would be good to stay in an apartment travelling with young kid since we have kitchenette but we were obviously very disappointed. Definitely will not go back again.”

“Perfect option for me with kids going to visit Legoland, The location was perfect 3KM to Legoland (5 min) driving!!! The balcony view open on Singapore and the unit was very new and clean. Owner was very kind to accept to me late check out(8PM ) after full day in Legoland he accepted me to go back to the studio tu take a shower before i leave Johor Bahru!! Highly commanded to family of 4 person (2 Adult + 2 Kids 3 to 12)”

“Host is really friendly and replies promptly to requests. kind to allow a later check out the following day as accommodation is not booked by others Really good location, easy to find, with many eateries around. Really safe as well, security guards, and access can only be done by access card. Apartment is big and spacious. Things inside are pretty new and clean. There are also availability of facilities as such gym and pool.”

“The host, Amelia is very warm and helpful. She is readily available to answer questions and would go the extra mile to update on how to do the check in and check out as well as giving early updates to the availability of the room. The apartment was cosy and accommodating for the group of four :) 2 people can share the bed while 2 others can sleep on the sofa bed.”

“You get what you see. Perfect for family and group. The owner provides cooking facilities and utensils. Automatically you’ll feel at home. The owner is very helpful. The location is perfect. Value for money. Will stay here again soon!”

“This was my 1st time booking apartment stay with agoda, the "check in" procedure was unclear, and unfriendly. No instructions was given, telling us how and where to check in. After 2 days of hassel with agoda customer service, I finally got the owner number. I had booked a 3 room apartment, owner only can provide 2 room apartment, but with beds enough for 8 person, and had promised to refund RM100, WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. Instruction to retrieve the apartment keys were not very clear. Check in was delayed, could only check in after 5pm. Upon arrival, we discovered 1 bed was broken, WIFI not working, TV not properly connected. The lifts to the apartments were SUPER SLOW. Owner response to all our queries were SUPER SLOW as well. Too much work and time wasted. Will never return again.”

“Owner is extremely friendly and accommodating to my late check in and check out. Location is good and clean.”

“valuable.clean...all facilities perfect.nice clean....hotel standard”

“Thank you KSL for great hospitality during my stay. Love the facilities and the room. Breakfast is limited but still okay. I have a great stay during my visit to Johor Bahru.”

“This hotel have truly friendly staff and good service. Breakfast is nod bad. Roof top pool is cool. The restaurant which located at 14th floor has stunning view. This is my 4th time staying here. My only choice of hotel in Johor Bahru.”

“The breakfast buffet was amazing! I've been to some 5 stars hotel before but this one was among the best I've ever had. Various selection and everything is DELICIOUS. They change the menu everyday during my 4 days stay. Location is great for me. 20-30 mins drive from the city but I could use the peacefulness. Ordered room service on my first night, I have to wait so long but the food is amazing. Asked the cleaner to make up my room and I know it was not the best they could have done. Overall, value for money and definitely will stay here again the next time I'm in Johor Bahru.”

“I use this hotel since 2012 several times every year. Right now I spent five days and I have 25 (twenty five) days to go. Excellent service as always. Comparing with NOVOTEL Terminal 3 CDG airport France, Hilton Gardens in Gainesville Florida, HILTON in Saint John, NB Canada and Grand Bluewave in Johor Bahru Malaysia, Berjaya Hotel is heavily underrated with four stars.”

“Great place to stay. New hotel. Good breakfast spread. Clean rooms. Spacious rooms, fully carpeted. The family room had a lot of space for the kids to play around. KFC is walking distance away. We stayed here for our legoland trip. Legoland is about 15mins drive away. The room service menu was actually quite good. We ordered room service every night instead of going out because it was more comfortable since there was a small kitchenette to enjoy our meals and the prices were about the same as the restaurants nearby. We had a good view of Johor from our room too. The only negative point i would like to stress here is that, this hotel has a great pool but does not have a single place to hang wet clothes in the bath room. We only had the option to hang our towels on the shower glass door and stack our swimsuits on the sink. We hope the hotel management could just add some towel racks on their walls and V8 Hotel would be a 10/10 in my books!”

“If you are in Johor Bahru for legoland, then this is the place. Very near , good food, all facilities, reasonable rates are the major points. Stayed here with family for 02 nights. Thoroughly comfortable stay and highly recommended.”

“suitable for family and children. service in good order. nearly most place popular at johor bahru.”

“The staff greeting was great, the hotel design was beautiful as we took a lot of photos in the hotel itself, the breakfast at Oldtown white coffee is acceptable even not so many choices, the location in kulaijaya is ok as it near to johor bahru city, not so far to travel to legoland. Overall far beyond my expectation with affordable price”

“My family love to stay in this hotel, recommended hotel in johor Perhaps just needed a little bit more variant in the menu for breakfast ( cafe area) Others were excellent and please keep it up especially in the cleaningness matter. Good job for all the staff too”

“Great place to unwind and relax... Do get a high floor and sea view room if you can so that you enjoy a breathtaking view of the Johor Straits and northern shores of Singapore... Lack of amenities and quiet location makes it somewhat inconvenient if you do not drive but otherwise as mentioned, the tranquility of the place make up for its shortcomings... As for staff, they are friendly, courteous and helpful... Facilities wise, I gave it a 3-star cause as many reviewers had earlier mentioned, the pool is really dirty. No doubt it is no fault of the hotel (dust carried by all the construction works taking place) but it definitely dampens the mood of guests when you have such a fantastic sea-facing pool but cannot use it. Hotel management should proactively work on coming up with a solution for this...”

“My wife and I spent two nights here for a weekend getaway. The accommodations were very comfortable. The view of the golf course was spectacular. Days were cloudy and cool (for Malaysia), so we enjoyed the balcony quite a bit. Pool was well-kept and clean. Bowling alley was a bit run-down, but our staff person was helpful when the ball got stuck several times. Food via room service was tasty and served quickly. Fruit platter was a great deal at RM 11 for a large one. Spa services were also very good.”

“If you are travelling with kids, they will be happy as the master bathroom equipped with bathtub (my kids is so into this), hypptv full of channels (movies, cartoons), the house is also quite spacious. The Legoland is just 7 min walking distance from the apartment. The apartment also situated just beside the Medini Mall that have many outlets (food, sportsware, mini mart). i'll surely repeat staying here if we are going to Legoland again. Worth it”

“Pros: it was really amazing to see the kids go on the pony ride as they really enjoyed it. There is a stable there with many horses and it was a great time getting to know more about horses. I was pleased with the horse riding lesson given for my Son as well. It was really worthy. Though initially I was upset with the wifi not being fast or at times not able to get it, eventually I came to understand that this wifi-less moments got me to enjoy the nature and the time spent with my kids were more meaningful. Oh yes! There is a mini Swimming pool as well. Great place for kids. Thanks for letting us check out late as well. We are planning to come back! :) Con: the safe could have been fixed. However the room 27 happened to be the only one which had problem with the safe. And we were in there.”

“I actually booked this hotel for my parents and siblings who traveled to Johor Bahru. They were very impressed with the water dispenser provided in the hotel room. Besides, the staff allocated us connecting room which was ideal for us so that we do not have to leave the one room to go to another. There are some nice restaurants in and around the hotel, but the price would be on higher range. Overall, it is worth the money for a 4-star hotel!”

“This is my 4th time stay at this place. Very affordable, clean and nice place to stay. The staff also was friendly and helpful. Thank you for the good hospitality. Will stay here again every time I come to Johor.”

“the location is away from the congested Johor Bahru., but not too far to Woodlands checkpoint. The condo is very new and clean and the swimming pool is awesome. We ended spending whole day at the pool as there is not much guests using it, we literally have the pool to ourselves. The jacuzi is also nice. The condo itself is very big and can fit families really well. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Overall, our stay at KSL Resort was beyond enjoyable.”

“The bed is nice and comfortable, making for a restful sleep.”

“Very nice and comfortable hotel room and convenient too”

“The hotel has truly become my go-to whenever I’m in JB.”

“One of the Largest selection ive seen and all taste good”

“It’s absolutely stunning, with a great view of the city.”

“The property exceeded expectations in every aspect.”

“The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were well maintained.”

“Then room is enough to stay relaxing and interior is nice.”

“Toilet is huge and each room comes with bathtub and bidet.”
