"This four star hotel and its service was really good. I stayed in double room and it was spacious and the free breakfast was not bad. It takes about 15mins from train station to hotel by taxi. If you do not have a car, its quite difficult to find a taxi at night so dont forget ask staff for a bus route (1 bus only). "

"emerging from the old hauptbanhhof (not kassel-wilhelmshohe which is the main station linked to the network), the hotel is just a short distance beyond the more visible golden tulip hotel. has small lobby / reception, the soap sachets are just too tiny (we bought our own bar), we asked for a twin instead of a double, and the two beds were oddly far apart, but otherwise it was pleasant. there is a club near by, so on party nights, you do get late night drunk revellers hollering, but it's otherwise peaceful. for eur a night, we imagine you could get better deals if you booked ahead earlier, or in other cities, but we didn't, and it was the height of documenta."

"Not an expert on Kassel, but for me it was located centrally within walking distance of the places I needed to be. Hotel offers wifi for free, which isnt a standard in Germany as I noticed. Lobby area is nice and old-school. The rooms are clean and comfortable but with a 70s flair. "

"I've picked this hotel (it's called B+B now) because of many favorable reviews that praised value for money and room quality. I wasn't disappointed, for the price I got a very satisfying room, large, clean, comfortable and with modern furnishing. I was visiting a company nearby, but if you're planning to see the city you should have a car. The location is in a commercial area and there are no restaurants, convenience stores etc in walking distance. There's a truck stop but it's on the other side of a 6 lane highway with no visible way for a pedestrian to get there (it's a McDonald's). Bring your own food if you check in before dinner. Otherwise I fully recommend it!"
