Kelowna (BC) hotels & places to stay

our connecting last flight of the night to kelowna was delayed costing us to forfeit a night at the best western. we arrived early the next morning and with no fuss we were not charged our first night and still given our breakfast vouchers. free wifi and business centre was very useful. location was great- bus stop outside to get downtown, 10min walk to orchid park shopping centre and there are plenty of cheap food options, clothing store and walmart behind the hotel. we didn't have a car but there is ample room to park a hire car if u have one. breakfast was basic and average but we filled up late morning and didn't have to eat until dinner. the food is organized through the bar next door and not directly through the hotel. i would definitely recommend the best western kelowna especially if you need accommodation to or from the mountain as a stop over.

We wend back to Vancouver from Banff and had one night stay at Kelowna. The two queen bed room was large and comfortable. Everything look new and clean in the room with microwave included. A large parking area is just in front of the hotel and it's close to many dinning place (The Thai restaurant in front of the hotel is also very good). It's also near to all the wineries around. We did really enjoy our stay here, will like to stay here again next time if we come to Kelowna.

Very poor quality alarm clocks. Couldn't figure out how to set and couldn't turn off when alarm went off at midnight and several times after that.

Thought the waterslide and pool would be better... rooms satisfactory and kind of dodgy around the neighborhood at night. definitely lock the car doors. Had construction workers in the hall using the "f' word every other sentence, drunk and waking the kids. Not too polite, all kinds of people I guess. On the good side Great breakfast for value, but crowded. Staff friendly.

We were shocked when we entered the room as it is big, comfy & extremely clean. This place is definitely underrated as we have been to many 2 star hotel/motel that requires update & serious cleaning. The reception staff was really friendly and nice & even allow us to check out slightly later than the stipulated time. This inn is located in a great location which is 10 mins walking distance from the Greyhound bus station, minutes away from the Orchard Park Shopping Center which has a food court, Shopper's Drug Mart & Tim Hortons. It is also 15 mins walk from the Kelowna Farmers' & Crafters' Market. And not to forget that there is a White Spot just beside the inn. Breakfast was a bonus as we did not expect to have any at all even though the variety wasn't much. You do not have to spend big money on other nearby big hotels as there is a great one right here! We definitely will recommend this place to others & will stay here again if we visit Kelowna next time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!!

We stayed at this hotel overnight on our road trip. My heart sank when I saw the place but the room was clean and adequate. Definitely older style and the carpets could do with a good clean or replacement, but the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Staff were efficient and helpful. We were located in a back room which was very quiet but some of the rooms close to the main road could, I suspect, be noisy.

The price per night was a bit high. For a campus area location. Downside is its far from grocery, restos, and downtown.

We truly enjoy staying at the 1-bedroom executive suite room. It's provided with all the cutlery and things you need (microwave, washing machine, stove, etc). The hotel is perfect for family getaway! Love it!

Very friendly couple who run this place. Clean and spacious room with a view over the lake. Best stay on our round trip in BC

Modern and comfortable hotel perfectly situated on the lake and just a short walk along the boardwalk to restaurants etc.

The rooms are sparkling clean and spacious! We have air con and a big bathtub (with a shower unit) to enjoy to accommodate the needs of the weather. The balcony is very open facing the highway, so it might not have too much privacy and it gets quite hot in the afternoon. With the curtains on, you can truly fall asleep in this lovely place right away. Breakfast is served downstairs at the cafe with attentive and friendly staff. The owners are amazing to greet you warmly so you would feel very welcome at all times!

we were generally happy about our stay. room was not too big but clean enough. tv was barely watchable coz it was really old and small.

Warm & friendly hosts. View to be admired giving golf course and mountain glimpses. All you could want from a sc apartment that is part of a couples homes. Able to come and go as we pleased as separate lockable entrance. Really enjoyed our stay

Staff were all friendly and kind. Pool was freezing cold! Room dated/worn, but mostly comfortable. Bed was too soft for my liking. Food in adjoining restaurant was delicious. Would stay here again.

Pros> good location, remodeled room, good mattress Cons>poor breakfast and coffee quality. I stayed at one of rooms on the side of property (roll of bungalow) with poor lights which I felt unsafe.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The location quite as set back from the main road. Marieke made amazing Dutch crepe for breakfast which were to die for. Had mine wrapped around bacon, cold cuts of cheese and thinly sliced meats. In summer they have a field of flowers you can freshly cut a bunch for $5 to take home. Marieke kindly gave me a lovely bunch for my journey.

Beautiful place in West Kelowna. Very easy to get to off of Hwy 97. The place is very clean,new and well furnished. Everything you needed was in the cupboards including coffee and all the minor cooking things you needed.' The rooms were big and we had plenty of space. The recreation place next door included a pool area. The only thing was that the hot tub in the rec area was under repair the whole entire time we were staying and would have liked to have used it. Underground parking. Property manager that helped us did a great job and the owners made us feel very well. Thank you so much for our stay!

There are hairs all on my pillow and bedsheets, they clearly did not change the bed sheets. We were just stopping by for a night, and glad it's just one night.

Decent price for a decent place. Across from shopping mall and restaurants. A little far from downtown but not bad

Pool and hot tub was really good and its in middle of Kelowna. Really good restaurants on walking distance

We had a great stay, the hot breakfast was delicious. We used the pool and hot tub which I had a reaction to the hot tub water which I believe had sulphur in it.?
