This place is underrated. If you live in the cities and need to escape, this is the place. At a first glance, it may seem not much but the peace that envelops you once you got there worth the 5 hours journey from the heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
I recommend you to try at least staying by the beach or the paddy fields and experience the nature. Forget looking for a nightlife or shopping but enjoy the local scenes by trying to join the River Prawn hunt (according to the locals the prawns live where there is a crocodile!). There is a nearby National Park, Endau Rompin. So leave your gadgets behind and try something new. Live a little!
very quiet small town. The road is very confusing especially when driving at night. The road condition not so good and very dark.
nice small town, spend 2 days there but was too busy with own activities so was not able to fully explore the area.
Had all typical small town able to offer and should be everything as Kuala Rompin is the major town for rompin district where all main government services are available here.
