The hostel is located between bus terminal and the plaza, with a mini market next to it. Good shower and the room is spacious with a locker. Breakfast is good but better to have a toaster/ some juices. Tours are available to book through hostel, unfortunately no tour can be arranged due to low season during my stay

Although I was just for a couple of days, I was not dissapointed. Just as the pictures; the room & bathroom were cleaned everyday, small tidy kitchen & floors, nice tv, lockers, nice breakfast, and the owners & staff were really friendly with me. Just one little issue with the hot water in the shower at the last day, but fixed I guess.

The Costa Real hotel is located just next to the city centre and on one of the main road of the city. The rooms are nice, the staff us helpful, the breakfast is similar to other places. Dinner was bad and one night there wasn't hot water at the bath, but in general it's not bad.

We had four rooms. Hotel quite empty (end of season) and located close to main mall but well away from the beach. A dreadful smell in the reception area - blocked pipes? Nothing special.

We had the ground floor room which was a bit damp and musty smelling, the cleaner left the doors and windows open after cleaning for the whole day which wasn't ideal, and the bed was a bit concave and needs replacing, otherwise nice accommodation am great location. Bit expensive for what it is. Build quality v poor so you can hear the people above you stomping about which keeps you awake.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the center of the city and to a good place to have food. Just one corner to the bus, that goes to the beach. The staff ist great, very helpful. Herman even checked a car to rent for us, because nearly every car was booked. Thanks for that. Every night is a special theme night and you get a lot of pisco. We enjoyed our stay and can definitly recommand the place.

The rooms come with kitchenettes which is handy but they are a bit run down. For the price it's excellent though.

Excellent place to stay for couples or singles. Great location being near the town plaza (center of town), 3 blocks from the bus depot and 5 blocks from the beach. This was only my second stay at a hostel, but the other guests, who were experienced hostel travels, said this was the best or one of the best hostels they have stayed at. It's a small adobe house over 100 years old, but very well maintained.
