"I stayed YHA hostel for 6 days in the first week of may. check in process was quick and was I'm happy with my room. it's clean, with lockers provided ( but need to bring own padlock or rent from YHA) . washroom is clean and hot shower is provided which is great! it is cleaned daily as well. Everyone was nice and accomodating. There are plenty utensils and kitchen appliances provided in the common kitchen area .entry into the lift and room need card access which is a plus point. basically I feel safe and comfortable with this hostel! tube station is not very near, but within walking distance. take it as exercise then! read good reviews here but hope this is more comprehensive to fellow travellers that wish to stay here. will definitely consider staying in YHA again for my next visit to London!"

"Strand Palace Hotel is the most convenient hotel in London. I have been staying there almost every couple of years for around 30 years. Rooms are very small but that is old London and you enjoy the charm of this place. Not cheap at all but the standard is matches the price. Very old fashioned, charming, old English if that’s what you like b"

"Best hostel I ever stayed in London! Already booked a second time and would recommend it without any hesitation. The room was very clean, spacious and the facilities appeared to be quite new. Deserved 4 Star hostel! The staff was friendly and always helpful. The elevator didn't work, but who cares, my room was on the first floor, so no problem at all. The room had no lockers but metal cages for every guest, my whole suitcase did fit into it and I used my one padlock to lock it up. There are several bus stations right next to the building. 3-5 minutes walk to 1-Pound-shop, Morrisons, Tesco Express, Mcdonalds, KFC and some other restaurants/bars. thumbs up (I didn't have breakfast at the hostel, but I have been told that it's tasty)"

"This time, I wanted to find out nice hostel in London. I did use first time this hostel. As I did operation after, I was really worried about . But this hostel wa great that they reserved lower room and just 4 bed room and shower room was big and shower condition was very great! They were also leave message on the bed for this bed was reserved for Miss. ...... It was very good hospitality. It was like normal hotel service. Only one thing , this hostel was standing side by main road, so it was very noisy. Only that, this hostel had problems. But other things were almost perfect! I will use use this hostel again! "

"sharing a room with 20 others is not easy, but it's hostel life, and for $ in the center of london you can't expect luxury. the showers were hot and the beds comfortable enough. one thing you should be aware of if you bring your own laptop is that you only get 1 hour of free wifi per day. "

"If you love aviation like I do, you will love this hotel.. get a room with a view of the runway! could have stayed in my room all day just watching planes take off and land at Heathrow. But I didn’t pick this hotel just because I wanted to see planes take off and land.. it’s just one of my personal treats. The location is very convenient if you need to be near the airport. You can walk from the hotels second floor, through an indoor walkway directly into T4. The staff were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was awesome. The rooms, despite being right next to Heathrow were very well insulated and you wouldn’t hear a sound from the outside. Overall very happy and would definitely stay here again. "

"Great place to stay - we booked it on a chance as we needed cheap accommodation on a Monday night near to Brixton Academy - it's a short walk from a tube station but on lots of bus routes. The dorm itself was exceptionally clean and had all the essentials - USB plug sockets, modern lighting and design. I personally really liked the wall mounted baskets next to each bed - perfect for storing phone on charge, a bottle of water etc. The staff were all great, and the 10% off drinks 24/7 and 25% off brunch was actually fantastic - we ate all of our meals there and it was good quality home cooked food. Will stay here again for sure! "
