This is a fantastic location. We had amazing water views from both bedrooms of our cottage which sat about 10m from the shore. The cottage was immaculately clean, beds comfortable, great hot water and wonderful towels. The kitchen was FULLY equipped; as good as I've ever seen. Great play areas for kids, including an indoor games room with pool table and shuffleboard, and an outdoor mini-golf. We lived the place. That said, it is a bit run down and needs some upgrading, which is what the owner said when we checked in! Great value for money. I wouldn't look elsewhere in Lunenburg because Lily Front was perfect for us.

We came to Lunenburg for our anniversary. Because it was not the peak tourist season, there were many restaurants and stores that were closed for the season; however, it was still a lovely stay. We spent two nights in the hotel which was quite comfortable. The breakfast was included and was a continental breakfast. It was fine, as it was free, though I would not pay for it. It was just the basic cereal, bagels, yogurt fare. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great view of the harbour. It was strange that you could not comfortably view the television from the bed or sofa in the room, but that is just a minor criticism as we weren't there to watch tv. Overall, I would stay there again and hope to go back to Lunenburg in the summer.
We stayed 2 nights and were impressed. the decor of the inn and our room was great. breakfast was plentiful and delicious friendly staff who couldn't do more for you short walk to everywhere free parking on the street on weekends highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Lunenburg.
I was unable to stay at the Dockside due to a mix-up in the reservations. The Owner of the Inn was very gracious in obtaining us a room at a different Inn, a few buildings away from the Dockside, that was absolutely spectacular.
Old style 60s type motel..basic but the view is worth it. We've spent the evenings sitting on our deck overlooking lunenberg..getting up early For the sunrise. An amazing little spot. Not fancy but clean..great staff. We'll be back!
