we reach macau after 6 days stay in hong kong and travel to macau for another 3 days holiday. we reach macau ferry terminal and easily we are able to see a lady standing at the exit of the ferry terminal showing "venetian macao resort hotel" and directed us to the free shuttle service. before taking the free shuttle, i had tried to queue up at the macau ferry when i arrived for the purchase of ticket (turbo jet) back to hk, and end up, after half hours, the queue is still non moving. so,i back to the hotel, and through their great concierge service. we are able to book our ferry ticket (cotai jet) back to hk in advance without any hassle. once we reach the hotel, we are welcome and directed to the check in at the south lobby. we are expecting that it will be a slow process or long queue, due to these hotel having 3000 rooms! however, we are surprise of check in within 5 minutes, and was being shown to our hotel room. we are even being offered 2 welcome drink & 1 free 4r photo! our requisition of baby cot & high floor is being meet as well. we shops inside the hotel itself, and we walk till drop coz of the great varieties, though the shops price is a bit higher than outside. we did join the half day tour around macau and at affordable rate at mop98/ppl. its surprised that with mop98/ppl, we are able to see 15 highlight place of macau. a great tour to join! during our check-out, we did keep our luggage at the "baggage center" and when we did a claim at our baggages, the staffs offer to help us "trolley" our baggage to the free shuttle waiting for us to cotai ferry terminal. if i were to come to macau again, i will definitely stay in the venetian macao resort hotel and will recommend my friends to there too... p/s : the next time, i will visit the casino, and i had missed it this time due to time constraint on shopping! :)

Studio City Hotel is the perfect choice if you are on holiday with kids, but also want to enjoy adult things that a casino can offer. Studio City is a legitimate resort, with plenty of restaurants, amenities and fun things for the whole family. For kids there is the Batman Dark Flight simulator ride which is the best 4D ride i've ever been on. There's a WB Fun Zone which is a giant kids play area, comprising of multiple floors and can keep kids entertained for hours while you are enjoying the casino. Or can spend time with the kids. The giant pools with water slides, hot jacuzzis and a lazy river cant melt away the afternoon. In the middle of the hotel is the Golden Reel, a built-in ferris wheel attraction. Lots of places to eat. with the only complaint being that room service stops at 10:30pm. The room is very nice. There are two towers, the star tower and the celebrity tower. We stayed in the celebrity tower which seemed to be the less exclusive of the two. But it was easily a 3-4 star room. Has everything, great view and spacious. The hotel can be seen from the airport and is near the Venetian. It's a $50 Macau dollar taxi ride from the hotel to the airport. Overall completely recommend Studio City Hotel for any stay in Macau. You won't have to leave the resort at all unless you want to.

I stayed at Galaxy Macau Hotel, there are actually two of them, one of them is called the Galaxy Macau located not far from the airport (about 5 minutes), but it also has another hotel call STARS, it is also part of the Galaxy Macau. It is huge hotel equipped with very comfort room, a central shuttle bus station, shuttle bus goes to almost all destinations in Macau every 10-15 minutes (includding airport, tourist sites, etc.,), and it is complete free for resident. The food is not expensive, and they don't take cash, you have to transfer your money into credits and put into one of the GALAXY MACAU's card (the card is free), and you can spend it within the hotel. The Casino is huge, have to walk for about 4-5 minutes from one end to another, so try not to get lost with your friends, it won't be easy to find them. This is one of the hotel that I will go for a return visit, because it take cares of basically everything you need, ranged from food, service, transportation, casino etc.,. the only thing that I probably don't like as much is that checking time is 15:00 (check out time 11:00), I arrived about room time, so I have to wait for three hours before I can go into my room. But not sure about the other rooms are the same, but in the room which I booked, all the drinks in the fridge are free, they even offer shoe polish servie (free), there are three TVs in my room, (one is the living room, one in the bathroom and one is the bedroom). There is also a working desk in the living room.

Convenience place to stay in Macau & there are few vegetarian shops nearby within walking distance. I found 3 vegetarian shops which are less than 5 mins walking to their shop. Hotel provides shuttle bus to ferry station & you can actually take other interchange shuttle buses provided by other Casino Hotels to around Macau. Hotel has indoor swimming pool & a little casino as well. Price is very reasonable when you compared to other 5 star hotel in Macau. Public transport is 6 MOP /pax per trip no matter the distance (1st or last stop). Thanks Roy for the free upgrade to Deluxe room. Will come back again.

Must check in into Hotel Lisboa early,(11am to 12pm) so that you can ask for a higher floor with smoke free room.(Better View)Remember to bring additional($ HKD)as deposit to Hotel Lisboa.(Refunable Deposit) Hotel Lisboa is one of the Best Hotel, I stayed at in Macau. The room are medium size(Superior)but clean, smoke free with amenities including toiletries and bath accessories. There's complimentary mini bar fridge with free drink & free drink.(6 drink & 1 macau beer)Which can be refilled daily upon request.(All contents are free inside the mini bar fridge, but you must leave all the empty can you drink on the table. Enjoyed the massage shower with built in steam bath(Jacuzzi)& Hydrotherapy to soothe aching muscles after a day walk at bathroom. (Can ask house keeping for help if you do not know how to use.) Classic elegance & museum quality art display in the lobby throughout. Hotel Lisboa is right in the heart of Macau. Hotel Lisboa is walking distance to all the famous attractions. (Senado square,Sam Kai Vui Kun Temple, Holy Mercy of Macau, St Dominic's Church, ruin's of St Paul's Church & other. Hotel Lisboa Concierge was very helpful when we call for help. If you want to enjoy your Macau trips & see more of the city. You must do some homework. To check & find out from your friends where to go, where to eat, where to shop, which Casino or Hotel to Visit.Plan your jounery well. Restaurant Tip: Try the Dim Sum Restaurant on the 4 floor opposite Grand Emperor Hotel. Food Tip: Try the morning breakfast(Mixed pork porridge with pig blood) around/near senado square. Try the Magaret egg tart at ABCD building along the (Av. Do Infante Dom Henngue Road) Ask around if you do not know where.

One of the best hotel in Macau. I booked family room for 2 adult + 2 kids. Its great. I love the pool, we can take nice pictures there. And also if you guest of this hotel, you can go free to Eiffel tower , just show your hotel key. Breakfast is ok, i have to pay HKD 120 per kids.

First time ever going to Macau and rent a 5 star Hotel. We gawked looking at either the exterior and interior of this hotel. Truly amazing and wonderful experience. Ordered the fountain King Suite, we had excellent stay, the staffs all are surprisingly very handsome and very beautiful. They also helped us all a lot, especially when we want to take skycab for free because we are indeed hotel guest. The concierge (male) also very informative when we asked for Macau tourist map, with fluent english telling us all the details and guidance. They were over the top friendly, even the maid/roomkeeper greeted us in hallways. In terms of service, 5 star, top notch. Amazing. In terms of facilities, indeed it has bath tub, huge TVs, self iron service, and all the amazing stuff that you ever imagine, even free body lotion etc, BUT I've been to another 4 Star Inter City Hotel in South Korea that has a Washing Machine and Gas Stove inside the rooms. I know that in 5 star hotel, there is a hotel laundry service and luxury restaurant, but Wynn Palace did offer self iron in every guest room which means, if you wanna iron your shirt you can do it your own right? So, why we can't do the same with laundry machine and gas stove? I mean another 4 star hotel in South Korea have them. So, In terms of facilities, Wynn Palace is amazing but could have been better But overall I do really really recommend Wynn Palace as a hotel of your choice while visiting Macau Because Good Service can beat any lack of room facilities in a bat of the eye.

Only regret about this hotel stay is I should have booked additional 1-2 nights! Simply love this hotel in Macau! Modern, clean n huge hotel with great location! Okura hotel is actually in Galaxy and there were 2-3 hotels inside all within walking distance. I booked 2 connecting rooms as have 2 teens. We love the huge rooms with modern interior. Very very clean rooms only thing is that there were cigarette smell in my teens room. Housekeeping came to spray some air freshener. Hotel provides free shuttle bus to many other hotels in Macau and ferry pier as well as airport. Besides casino, there are cinema, many shops and eateries inside Galaxy. Understand there's a great water park and a indoor heated pool in hotel but didn't have chance to use/ see. Water park has restricted hour as weather started to be cold. I will definitely be back to Okura for my next visit in Macau.

After cross ferry from HK to Macau, hotel has shuttle bus from port to hotel but have to cross the underground to the other side. Hotel has the shuttle bus service between the port and hotel every 15 - 20 mins which is quite convenient. The hotel is located near the tourist spot which is within walking distance which is quite nice but the surrounding is not very pleasant as the building around the hotel are old and not nice. The hotel building from outside look quit plain comparing to other hotel which are more colourful with other gimmics. The room was good and interior was quite nice. Casino looks a bit small and not as exciting as others. Traveling from hotel to other hotels in Macau is convenient as we can take shuttle bus to the port and use other hotels' shuttle bus to go to visit other hotels.

A very classic hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. They serve free buffet breakfast and have in-room dining service if you wish to have supper late at night. Price consider reasonable if you compare with other hotel in Macau. The location is in Taipa which is a newer town of Macau. They have free shuttle service but only once every hour. I find using their local bus service is very difficult as the bus driver are not that friendly. However, the bus will have some sort of announcement display in screen to show the next destination stop. Bus fare are cheap. In the end we choose Taxi since it is faster and more convenient. They follow meter rate. Approximately around MOP$40 for every ride to whatever destination within Macau. Consider cheap as Macau is actually a very smaill Island.

Book here if you dont want to crowded places like in the cotai strip. They have shuttle buses going to the cotai strip, airport and barge terminal. I really recommend this hotel if you want to relax in Macau after a busy day having tours and sight seeing. There is no close convenience store but there is a local grocery store right after the tunnel.

Our trip to Macau was a gamble of sorts. We were a group ofunlikely tourists - 4 elderly family members and an active four-year-old childinclusive. We booked the hotel online via Agoda based solely on gut instincts.We found a hotel in Macau island within our budget and clicked the button –the ‘MandarinOriental’ name did help to decide us. The night before arrival, I went onlineand saw that the hotel was undergoing renovations; I spent a sleepless night worryingabout our hotel choice. We were checked in by a hotel staff who spoke interesting Cantonesewith a Macanese dialect. Our requests were attended to though the staff did notcome across as naturally friendly. But we had the opportunity to meet otherstaff who were more helpful and friendly during our stay. One particularreception staff did not only speak fluent English but gave us veryhelpful recommendations for eating places. He went to the extent of searchingonline and sketching simple maps for us. Having been warned by friends that hotels in Macau and HongKong were not really something to look forward to, we were pleasantly surprisedby the ambience of the hotel (no sign of renovation), cleanliness of the rooms,the facilities, as well as the understated elegance of the place. We had agreat stay and the bet did pay off – for a reasonable price, we got quite agood deal.

They upgrade our room from Deluxe into Suite, because they have full book room on thats date. Receptionsit very helpfull and tell us about how we can go to tourism destination in Macau, and they provide us with Macau maps. There is shuttle bus (cooperate with Galaxy Hotel bus) so we can go to another place for free. But shuttle to Airport start from 11 AM - 10 PM. Room is big, very clean, and so many free minibar. Thank you Broadway, if I comeback to Macau I will stay at this hotel again for sure.

this is probably the best hotel for those traveling with older children. rooms are very large. the hotel is not crowded unlike some of other hotels in macau. hotel staff are friendly. the chinese restaurant at the lobby serves the best beijing duck. the air at city of dreams is definitely cleaner than other casinos so u dont smell like a cigarette butt after gambling. i would highly recommend this hotel to others.

i was impressed... let's look at how: 1) taking my first steps into the hotel, i wasn't greeted with pungent high-class-wanna be fragrance. it was subtle yet pleasant. 2) unlike most hotels in macau, conrad is targetting high end clients. you don't see the same congested crowd of villagers from mainland china who tend to squad around the lobbies, scream off the top of their lungs for a normal conversation, and people rubbing their toes in public. this hotel was classy (i hope it stays that way). 3) they surprised me with a free upgrade to a suite. i was welcomed by friendly smiles and staff who were eager to help and provide good service (not the type who are overly eager). 4) all the staff i encountered were attentive and responsive. i have stayed at several different hotels in macau including new establishments. this was by far my best experience. i cannot wait to go back for another visit.

My other half and I stayed last weekend at the Banyan Tree Macau. After running around and seeing other hotels (I'm a travel agent) I think we were staying in the best Macau has to offer. Wow, our room was massive with a long pool that ran the length of the lounge and bedroom. A therapy room with a massive spa tub and in the bathroom a great barral like japanese tub and they even provide the bath salts (filled daily) to relax in the tubs. The bed was comfy and the brekfast was great. The bathroom products are fab and they give you a great little bathroom bag. In terms of location, it's in the newer part of Macau, at the Galaxy Complex(10min from the airport, free shuttle avail). So great for visiting the Venetian and other hotels / shops / resturant at that end. The historic part of macau is over the bridge but they provide free shuttles to take you all over the islands and other hotels so easy to get around. We found most people did not speak great english but the hoel staff are all fine and very easy to understand. They are also so attentive and friendly, thanks for making our stay fab. I would recommned this hotel to anyone who can splash a little cash for a lux stay. Like I said, i am a travel agent and have had the privildge of staying at some of the best hotels in the world and Banyan Tree Macau makes my top 10 list.

By far our best weekend stay in Macau. Hotel is located just at the outskirts of Cotai strip removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. However the hotel provides a shuttle bus that ferries guests to the major tourist destinations and casinos. Splendid combination of the excitement of Macau with the peace and quiet of the country side. The hotel staff was truly amazing with a warm service that radiates out of sincerity. We had a great stay and would definitely be coming back again!

The Grand Lisboa Hotel is located in the central area in Macau, the hotel is a 5-star one, everything is very nice, the hotel offer free Wifi service, as well as complementary drinks inside the refrigerator. The room is deluxe, classy and it deserves to be a top ranked hotel in Macau.

Stayed along with my parents and it was amazing. From its design outside which is very palace like to the inside where in interior very much like leave up to the design outside. Inside is very luxurious and detailed, room is very spacious and the bed is really comfortable. My mom is shocked on how the television goes up from the cabinet, but the best of all from this hotel are the staff who not only serve us but also made sure that we will be able to have unforgettable stay as it is the 31st anniversary of my parents. From the moment we enter the hotel the front line staff Amad, greeted us and helped us on our luggage and led us to the front desk. Eva did the checking in which is fast and very professional she even greeted my parents a happy anniversary as soon as she knew it. Rose escorted us to the room, she told us all the hotel facilities and room amenities. Brian from the Concierge helped us with our luggage and provided some information in Macau. He also waited for us near the recreation to escort us to go to the lounge on eight. Lyn from the lounge on eight is very nice and engaging, the overall experience in the lounge on eight which is already very good is greatly enhanced because of her costumer engagement. Upon going out. Jury helped us on where to go, he gave us detailed information on which place to visit and which is very good place to go as my mom is having difficulty on walking. The room attendant, Sam, Dennis and Jonathan did a good job, service was really fast. Upon going to recreation Yumiko did a good job even we find it hard to communicate she tried her best to explain every facilities to us at the recreation. The gallery bar is very nice and cozy aswell, it has a very elegant vibe in it and is greatly enhanced by what louie made for us. Upon check out, Jack helped us with the luggage and helped us on how to get to the bus station going to Hong Kong The overall experience is really great my parents anniversarry become extra special as what Ros

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday few days ago. I decided to stay with JW Marriott Macau out of many hotels in Macau is mainly because the employee here are well trained (especially Iris from Front Desk!) she reserved a cake for us and also left a note in room after we came back from a show. My husband was very happy with the professional serivce JW provides. The room was really comfortable too, great view from our room , we wish we could have spent one more day there. Another reason we wanted to stay here is because the pool is amazing ! We get free access to the Galaxy water park and we realize if you are not a guest at the hotel there is additinal fee for using the waterpark. Staff at the pool were really friendly too ! Overall this is definitely a getaway place if you are looking for relaxing and a luxury hotel. My husband signed up the reward point that day because we know we are going to come back for sure !!!

We booked a Saturday night at Crown Plaza at a charge one thousand something which is almost $1000-1500 cheaper than those hotels at Taipa or Macau downtown! It may not be the best location in Macau, but they also provide shuttle bus service from Macau outer Harbour Ferry Pier to hotel at around 20 minutes travelling . The check in is smooth, room is decent and nice. I was being upgraded to a Harbour View Room, look over the Outer harbour & really stress free. Buffet breakfast on 3/F also provide a variety of food, salad, bread & pastries to noodles & congee. It would be perfect if the food can be hotter. Tips for those coming back from Venetian after concert: take the shuttle bus from Venetian to Border Gate and walk to hotel within 20 minutes. You can find different local restaurants, fast food shop & convenience store on the way! Good choice for the supper !

There are a lot of nice hotels in Macau but the MCM has also sea view, well at least the room we had, we had requested seaview and had an upgraded room. The room was super modern with huge windows to look out. The restaurants were also very nice but the casino was the best, we stopped at several different hotels to see the difference and MCM was by far our favorite. It also has a very nice pool which we unfortunately did not get to use since we were only staying one night. I would definately stay at MCM again, it is worth the money.

I booked in advance as dates/availabilty can be an issue, this is a first choice hotel in macau but I understand chinese clients perfer the encore macau over the wynn mac. the decor is similar to the wynn in las vegas(carpet,walls) I stayed in a one bedroom suite & it was unforgetably fabulous the suite had a huge bathroom& big jacuzzi tub big black granite shower a description of pure luxury, check in is private at the newly renovated wynn club, shops were all high end, service, concierge service excellent perfect english resourceful, confirming international flights. my visit to macau was alot of fun the wynn & venetian were similar to the las vegas wynn & venetian but theres only one las vegas, macau is a whole different experience completely well with kids you werent allowed to walk thur the casino gambling area, so seeing the hotel as entirely wasnt possible which felt like a smaller place & to get to the cantonese resturant you needed to walk outside around the building, macau makes more revenue from gambling than las vegas but theres more shows & shops & things to do in las vegas the show to see in macau was the "water dance" at the city of lights hotel on the other side of the island

Our room was absolutely first rate considering we got a cheaper one with a view. The washroom was probably bigger than most living rooms I've had with 2 entrances and top class everything including a few automatic switches. With the price of this being half that of the major Macau Hotels, I expected a drop off in quality, but was left wondering what more would you get for more money? This is the only hotel I have EVER stayed at that offered the items in the fridge for free including 5 beers and a multitude of beverages (the champagne and wines are not free so be aware). The swimming pool had an amazing view and was beautiful in itself. Service was helpful, friendly and professional. 6 STAR HOTEL AT 4/5 STAR PRICE!

this is a well presented hotel with a great atmosphere in a convienent location right in the middle of the city of dreams complex. the staff are very helpful and friendly. this hotel manages to combine a first rate presentation with a homely feel, we felt right at home straight away. the facilities are first class and the restaurants excellent. the room was excellent, a good size (for what we paid) with an lovely decor. we have stayed in a number of hotels in macau over the last twenty years and this hotel provided one our best experiences. we will use this hotel again on another visit to macau.

we found hotel a bit old decoration but very modern inside the suite. the room is so spacious and bright. breakfast has enough choices. however, we're rejected to be offered free dinner buffet as advertised when we made booking with agoda. anyway, it didn't affect our recommendation to the others who are looking for value for money top 5 stars hotel in macau.

Have stayed in other St Regis hotels before and I am continuously impressed by the level of service. My only regret is that I had not stayed here the entire time (had chosen to see some other 5 star hotels in Macau which were all disappointing in comparison). On arrival we were greeted with free high tea, free cocktails and even first class tickets for the ferry ride back to Hong Kong. Thank you St Regis for a memorable stay!

Comparing with the casino hotels in Macau, this hotel luxury design diffuses a sense of elegant oriental culture, provides gorgeous rooms and quiet discreet efficient personalized service. We stayed in the Deluxe Lake View Room with stunning view over the ocean, lake and Macau Tower. It feels like we are staying on the water! Their staff are friendly and helpful. Specially, The Vida Rica Restaurant provides remarkable buffet breakfast, where is quiet and relax that we can enjoy our breakfast for more than 2 hours. I asked for a glass of ice cubes, and they proactively provided with lemon and honey. I just want to say: their staff are so intimate. Really love this place and thank you for the amazing experience.
