Mississauga (ON) hotels & places to stay

We decided to try the airport Hilton rather than our usual go-to airport hotel. We had flown back to Toronto from the west and were staying in TO for two nights before heading home on Sunday. The hotel has been redone from top to bottom and done very nicely. We rented a king-bed room which was roomy for the two of us. However, I think that it is always the staff that ‘makes it or breaks it’ : this was definitely a ‘makes it’ experience. No forced friendliness and everyone just did their job well. We wanted to spend Saturday downtown and took the airport shuttle then the UP train. Wow! Easy peasy and no traffic or parking hassles: 5 min to the airport and 25 to downtown! Last but not least. There is a new menu featuring a couple of East Indian dishes, which were recommended. I would go to this hotel when I am passing by the airport just for the food.

I booked the hotel online, with the assumption that it came with extended parking, for airport travelling, since a shuttle was advertised. In fact there wasn't parking on site, I had to go to Park and fly, which is fine , just a little inconvenient, and a surprise. Apparently the only way you can do this is to deal directly with this property, and the web site does not tell you this .

We booked a room to refresh ourselves before a long flight and did not regret it. The room was large and comfortable. The welcome drink at the lobby and free shuttle service to the airport were great touchs as well. We enjoyed our brief, but great stay at the hotel.

Please explain why Agoda claims it cannot change, refund, etc, my reservation when apparently you own Priceline. Otherwise, I would have booked MonteCarlo Mississauga when my relative’s sport event was changed. Shameful that your system is so inflexible!

Hotel is very close to 401, 403, 407. Square One shopping complex is minutes away. Awesome Mexican restaurant in walking distance. El Sombrero...

Hotel is convenient if you arrive very late into Toronto. Be very careful when using taxi's as ours set off and got on the wrong road to our hotel before we had given him the address. We didn't know when we booked but there are 3 different comfort Inn hotels so be sure to have the address at hand. 25 minutes later we arrived at the hotel. After we arrived at the hotel the receptionist also told us they did a collection service which would have been much better. The hotel was ok , communal area's in need of TLC which they where doing as we stayed. Beds very comfy plenty of space in the room and Aircon too. The breakfast was ok too, plenty of cereal , fruit , yoghurt etc, plus a hot selection of scrambled eggs and sausages, an area where you make your own waffles.

My boyfriend went down and ordered breakfast from the restaurant - asked if he could do buffet and bring it up to the room. He told him no, but he could order off the menu and it would be brought to our room and it would be there in 10-15 mins. So he orders 2 meals, we waited almost 45 mins, called down to inquire (couldn't get through until I called front desk) and was told they don't do room service, and if we wanted the meals remade we would have to pay again. The food was cold and gross and we didn't even eat it, and we couldn't even ask to have it off our bill as there was a huge line up at check out and we had to get on the road so we did the express check out.

Hotel locates closed to airport and business park. Facilities are abundant and new. Staff are very nice. Breakfast have plenty of choices.

One of the nicer airport hotels I've stayed in. Shuttle to the airport runs relatively friendly and the accommodations are modern and up to date. Would layover here again.

Room 313 an bathroom outlet needed attention. Internet difficult to get on. Otherwise, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best yet, lots of options and they catered to our gluten free needs

Days inn tomken is a very nice place to stay especially the staff .. very homey nothing csn say .. early check inn is provided shuttle bus is free with optional gratuity .. petite room im a solo traveler per se.. american breakfast is good , the filipina server is very good refilling the food .. the room was so clean and house keeper will ask u if wanted to clean up your room .. amenities were great .. i always microwave my food in the middle of the night n the old man is very accomodating and im so thankful for him ... the hotel dnt have elevator because it is under renovation but its still the best ... ill recommend you this place kindly buy presto for your transit to bus train n subway.. the place is 35 minutes from the airport by bus inluding waiting time for bus n 15 minutes from car...

Well everything is just ok except this is an old inside hotel, if u like new or well maintained in-room, don’t choose this one.

Hotel is not close to restaurants, which is fine during the week, beause they serve a light dinner in their foyer. On weekends only breakfast is served. There is one restaurant next door - otherwise you have to order pizza, or cab it to other restaurants around the airport area. Hotel is clean, rooms comfortable.

We actually checked in at 1am in the morning. The hotel staff is nice enough to let us do that. Getting to the hotel is relatively easy once u get off Highway 401 at Mississauga Road and follow the instructions on their website. It is about a 5-min drive once you're off the highway. There really is nothing around the hotel in terms of dining and shopping so you really do need a car if you wish to go anywhere. The room is decent enough even though they forgot to put a pair of toothbrush/toothpaste in our room. Our room is relatively cheap so it doesn't come with any slippers. Overall, the room is nice and big and the bed is very comfortable.

Very comfy and homey. Seemed recently renoed. Comfy beds and attentive staff at the front desk. Restaurant staff on the weekends could use a bit of trainibg when it comes to specialty drinks and such things but overall attentive and pleasant. Would look for a Garden Inn in the next city I visit.

Our jacuzzi was filling with brown water we were moved to a different room quite soon. We were offered a comp breakfast to compensate but could not take advantage as we left early, we did indicate this and no other comp was offered. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Overall a good stay

No real surprises here, it's an airport hotel but probably one of the best I've stayed at. Definitely better than HK for example but just about as good as Vancouver. Only inconvenience maybe is that you have to take the small train to the other terminal where Air Canada flies. Other than this the restaurant/bar is nice and not overly expensive and the rooms are quite big and the beds/pillows very enjoyable before you take a long-haul flight. Very happy and would always return if need to fly out from Toronto

Convenient for airport, therefore noisy at times. Don' t have room 214, it's on top of the outer foyer, where the cars drive up to the front door. All we could see was the top bit of that! Got stung for tax on top of quoted price! However, the staff were very polite, breakfast and pool were great! Would stay again (in a different room!).

Booked last minute for a flight change and I was very pleased with my choice. I thought the hotel was going to be a typical 'airport' hotel but it was a pleasant stay. The staff were exceptional. There is a little bar/restaurant attached to the hotel that has reasonable prices. There's also a Denny's kitty-corner to the hotel. My bed was incredibly comfortable (best sleep in a hotel in a long time) and they give you both soft and firm pillows. The room even had a little microwave in it. WiFi was good. The little sofa in my room had some stains on it but, the room felt very clean. Shuttle to and from the airport was free. I called them from the airport and they instructed me to wait at the hotel shuttle pickup area and they were there in about 30 minutes. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Recommended!

We have stayed at HS before at other places too and always have had good experiences. This HS was great too. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Pool facility was lovely for our family time. Hot breakfast is always a plus.

Love the rooms, staff was happy and friendly, great location off the 401! 2nd stay here. Would stay again!

Great location and it saved us a lot for airport transit. clean and comfortable bedrooms. The free breakfast with great variety of choices of food surprised us indeed.

This Holiday Inn is an okay 3 star hotel. It feels like a motel with a lobby. The rooms were small and had a poorly laid out floor plan. When you stay at a 4 star hotel you expect places similar to Hilton, Crown Plaza and Marriot. This place felt like a rundown Best Western or a Motel6.

Everything(staff, location to airport, condition of hotel, price) was not bad except horrible breakfast.
