"We took the ferry to Nanaimo for a quick 3 day visit before our cruise. We were in Nanaimo for only one night to rest up after traveling from Toronto all day. The location was very close to the waterfront and many good restaurants. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast the following morning was a very ample continental breakfast with more choice than I expected. The only downfall was that there was no lift to the 2nd floor and we had 2 very heavy suitcases to drag up and down. Apart from that everything was very good!"

"We were charged for a night of parking when we checked in and were told that the parking was next door, in a City of Nanaimo lot. Overnight, our vehicle was broken into and about $1,000 worth of our possessions were stolen. The hotel apologized, credited us with the cost of the parking and helped us call the police, even giving us free breakfast to help us feel good again. They did all they could after the fact, but of course, we have still lost our possessions. It is important that future travellers know that the lot is not secure, is not patrolled and does not have security cameras. My advice would be to park elsewhere, even if it costs more. Otherwise, the room was excellent, the location very good and the staff great. Of course, our loss overshadows what should have been a great stay."

"Decent rooms. 7-11 is just 2 blocks away and WhiteSpot are just within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the staff are helpful. Highly recommended! "

"Dangerous turn off from main road into hotel entrance. Bathroom tiny and very poorly finished. Continental breakfast very mediocre and tucked away in the lower level windowless room."
