The city of Netanya is located on the western coast of Israel against the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular destination for its beaches, and the city itself is a beautiful attraction. Ben Gurion Airport
is one of the closest international gateways to Netanya is only 50km away from the city. The train, taxis, and buses all provides means of getting around the city for simple transportation and exciting exploration.
It is the seaside that draws the majority of travelers to Netanya with excellent beaches like the main Sironit Beach
and the religiously accommodating Zanz Beach. At least half a dozen other beach options are lining the coast as well. Almost as numerous as the beaches are the promenades. Other than offering beautiful strolls with views of the city, visitors can experience a range of facilities. Hamaapilim Promenade has an art square, The Shaked Promenade boasts an acoustic shell amphitheater and see-through elevator to the sea, and The Matzok Promenade offers paragliding. The green feel of the city is also felt in places like The Oak Forest, a green area between the buildings, and the Iris Reserve, one of two places in Israel to see rare flowers that only grow within the country.
Apartments, hotels, vacation rentals, and villas line the beaches of Netanya. A majority of them are not too far from the Netanya Central Bus Station
and the Netanya Railway Station. Be sure to check out the interactive map of Netanya for information on hotel locations, attractions, and must-see destinations.
