We chose it for some particular amenities we knew we'd enjoy and looked forward to after a long day of driving - the pool, the restaurant, the lounge. We weren't able to eat in the restaurant because there were no gluten-free options, the pool was closed (hours before scheduled/advertised closing), and the bar also wasn't open when it was supposed to be. So, it was kind of a bust for us. The place is lovely, the staff very friendly, and the rooms were clean and really nice. But would have been better if we were there for days and with opportunities to take advantage of the services. Next time through we'll probably choose differently - will choose to not pay for services that aren't available in our time frame. One thing people should note - no elevators here.

Booked online and did not have room location choice. We ended up right in the middle of the third floor so a lot of walking involved getting to and from our room. The fridge in the room was a good size which held necessities for a party next day. Although we did not use them there was a coffee machine and microwave in the room as well. Nice pool, Sauna. This hotel may be a good Comfort Inn but I was completely underwhelmed by the property and my overall experience. I fly/travel over 35 weeks of each year throughout Canada, US, Europe and Australasia. Comfort Inns are not my normal hotel., I am a top tier member with Bonvoy (Marriott/SPG family) so perhaps I should not be so critical. However, considering the $250 I pa...

Comfort Inns are not my normal hotel., I am a top tier member with Bonvoy (Marriott/SPG family) so perhaps I should not be so critical. However, considering the $250 I paid for two nights in North Bay....totally beneath inspiring or worthy of praise. Cigarette burns on the side of the bath...in a non-smoking room! Gross carpet that had me not removing my foot ware until I went to bed. Small television, no USB ports bedside to charge phones etc... Two double beds? The last time I slept in a double bed...it was free and I was eleven years old! Clean enough...but ugh!

My wife & I spent 8 nights at Homewood Suites by Hilton in North Bay & found the facilities to be fantastic. The complimentary breakfasts and evening snacks were amazing (my wife's words). The suite was huge and incredibly clean with a full kitchen. The staff were all super friendly. Overall our stay was great, and would rate it virtually a perfect 5 out of 5 stars
