Old and outdated , the schedule of the pool isn’t kid friendly when you have a group of kids (15kids - 11-12 yr olds). That want to swim in the middle of the day and it’s not open. Heather front desk was rude and not helpful. Our hockey team will never spend money at this hotel again!

Nice modern facilities about a 20 min drive via highway to downtown Ottawa, just off the highway. Pros: clean, modern rooms. Large gym with towel service , decent size pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tubs, game centers (with complementary game console usage). Friendly staff. Nearby golf course. Cons: Parking extra, about $15 CDN / night which was not disclosed upfront...

Location was awesome, we were in Ottawa for a soccer tournament and were 9 mins from the field. Shopping and Restaurants were a 5 min drive. My only complaint would be the lighting in the washroom, little darker then normal. All in all a good place to stay in Kanata.

The reason we booked this hotel was because it is located right in the middle of the distance between Royal Thai Embassy and Byward Market lol. When we walked into the hotel, it took us by surprised that the hotel lobby was under major renovation due to its most recent water pipe explosion. It literally looked like a construction site. Plus, the restaurant was badly af...

Location couldn’t be better, it is within walking distance to a lot of places: - 15mins to Chinatown - 5mins to Baker and Elgin street (food locations) -20 mins to Parliment hill If you prefer public buses, they are just within a 5mins walk as well. Loved the comfort of the bed, size of the suite was great. Lightings of the room would be more on the darker side, but...

We had a great stay at this hotel. When we originally arrived they couldn't find our booking however, they quickly made sure that we had a room for the same rate as promised. The hotel is connected to a major shopping centre which is very handy especially if travelling in the winter. It is also close to many of the main attractions would defiantly recommend it to anyon...

I was not expecting such a good place to stay while visiting Ottawa. Parking fees were competitive and reasonable. Only a few blocks from Parliament Hill. The hotel was located on the main street in Ottawa called Rideau Street. I will definitely stay here again if I should visit Ottawa again.

Front desk staff extremely friendly and efficient. Rooms were huge. Restaurant nice atmosphere and good food. Shuttle service to airport 24/7,closest hotel to the airport. Everything you need right at the hotel. Love the cookies at the front desk they are addicting. Best bang for your buck

Hot tub not working, small pool but it did the trick, but it was nice to have a patio off the pool. Breakfast was the regular continental but opened up early so my sister could have something before leaving on the airport shuttle at 5:30am. Staff friendly and accommodating. Close to airport and shopping areas

Extremely cramped room none too clean. limited working ac plugs to plug in a charger.consequntly had to use bathroom which resulted in me leaving cords and adapter behind phoned hotel to report this never heard back from them. One exceptionally poor male front desk clerk. Others were amazing

My room was booked on line and when I got to the room it was a room for handycap with the shower with the seat and no tub. So then I was told that that’s what we get for booking on line. I just wish they would tell me ahead of time. Also the room was an adjoining room that has a door that’s very thin and I listen to the guy next door watch a movie until 1:00 am follo...

It’s unique location, the closet building to parliament building of Canada, and the special history it associated with Canadian and international célibataires , it deserve to be one of the best hotel in ottawa, and even literally, in Canada. However, if among the preservation of the tradition and history, it would be great if it can have some modern and fashion touch...

We booked two rooms, one for my husband and I and one for my son and his wife. Unfortunately, his wife was bitten by bed bugs when they went to bed. They showed the manage the bugs and he said they didn't have another room. Then they realized the pillow was completely infested, he took about 10 bugs to the manager and he found a room that had been booked and was a n...

The hotel is a great value - includes parking (heated, indoor) and a breakfast (yogurt, muffins (bit dry), scrambled eggs, cheese, "sausage" (?), fresh waffles (fun!), juice, oatmeal, cereal, etc) and 24hr coffee/tea. We had a hospitality suite and it was really spacious (separate King bedroom) and then a pull-out couch. It also had a little kitchenette with a microwa...

I stayed for one night and feel satisfied about it. First of all, I think I was the neearly lowest prices based on my search, with single independent room and even contained breakfast. There was a little bit smell when I had arrived there at first day, but not lasted for long and of course no smells in the room, definitely. Room was neat and clean, thought the bed wa...

I really enjoyed my stay in Auberge des Arts Bed and Breakfast. The room is cozy, bed is comfortable and everything is really clean and well organized. Breakfast which Pierre cook was also delicious! I would revisit Auberge des Arts B&B if I have a chance to visit Ottawa again!

Staffs were very nice and kind, location was perfect but I gave 2 starts to cleanliness cuz I got bitten by a bed bug at hotel. I realize that right after I left Ottawa. (For me, bite usually appear 8-12 hours after and I stayed here 2 nights. So I’m pretty sure I got bite here) It’s really painful and I’m still suffering from it. The room looked clean but... I usually...

I must say the reception staff where excellent. Very friendly and always had a smile when you approached them. BUT. They need to fire the cleaning staff. Our bed was made one day by pulling up the duvet never fixing the sheets . They where hanging off the bed. Used coffee cups left on the dresser. We asked for glasses in the room and they never washed them. Had a pro...

We arrived after a long journey from Scotland after 5pm. The gentleman at reception which name I did not get, was fantastic! He was extremely helpful and friendly. Upgraded our room which was fantastic and much appreciated! The staff in the bar were lovely and very helpful. The hotel itself is in a great location, not far from downtown and a shopping mall right across ...

Love the modern decor. The room made me feel relaxed and at home. Love the idea of the sound machine as well. First time I've ever seen one and really appreciated as well, since I sleep with a fan on it helped me fall asleep faster and stay asleep all night. Awesome hotel! Will definitely stay here every time we visit

Traveler impressions of Ottawa (ON)
it is a beautifull city with lots of history. and interesting sights. it is also very clean and has a lot to offer to visitors
Parliament Hill is a must see during the day and night. There are activities like a show on the parliament hill at night during summer.
Ottawa is nice to visit, but as I'm from Toronto, as it is a smaller city to me so would recommend a weekend getaway to Ottawa to cover the sights.
My overall experience was great. The people were very welcoming and friendly, which is nice to see in a big city.
Ottawa is a very beautiful city in which to walk around or bicycle. There are so many attractions and cafes that you have a hard time deciding what you want to do first.
The main sightseeing places are about politics. Though not very interesting, you should see the place.
