Porto is slight under presented as a tourist spot but it has lots to offer. The best thing about this city is its view and wine cellars.
Porto is a wonderful city. The river area and the view of the city built up on the hills around the river is absolutely beautiful.
The weather in early September was wonderful. We probably enjoyed the river front and the sea front areas the most though the trip up the Douro was also wonderful - we took the train both ways and were not disappointed.
Lovely city, a lot of culture and history combined with good, cheap drinks and foods served by friendly locals.
Porto was amazing - looks very historical. All tourist attractions were within walking distance and we managed to stumble upon a quiet hilltop with an amazing view of the city.
I was amazed how wonderful this city was, having travelled a lot . The people were so friendly. We went on the tour bus, on the river and then the cable car.
You can visit a popular old bookshop in Porto. The staircase is very special but you are not allowed to take photos there.
Nice little town. Can get around easily using metro. People are friendly but majority don't speak English.
