I had a good experience at Porto Calem Praia Hotel. The only issue we had were the high amount of mosquitos in our room at night. However, the staff sprayed the room and was able to resolve it without any delay and hassle. For the nightly rate, good commodities, great location (close to airport and beach front), and the inclusion of complete breakfast; I recommend this hotel.

I book my hotels for several years now with Agoda, but never experienced such a negative hotel experience in terms of quality and treatment of the local staff.

this hotel had great service, and a friendly atmosphere. filled with pretty younger brasilians, it is much like a lot of other places in porto seguro. at the end of the street (100m) is the beat beach bar, a great place to chill in the sun, and a stroll from toatoa, the biggest bar in porto. slightly out of town though, where everything is in the evening. but its a 20real cab ride in, so no big deal. wifi won't work in your room though, you have to go into the hall. make sure you chill above the pool deck, where nobody seems to go.

Fragata Inn has a very pleasent staff and is located in the Mucuge street, a few steps from the best places to go at night and from one of the most beautiful beaches of Arraial d'ajuda. It is highly recommended since you are looking for fair combination between prices and comfort & service with paying that much.

very nice family run Pousada at a very cheap price considering the area is very expensive. The breakfast is also very good. the room was large in size and could of easily slept 4 people. the garden is very nice.

right on the beach. i have stayed at several pousadas in this part of the world and the rooms are very simple whitewashed affairs. bed comfortable, tv and air conditioning. the style is very simple, don't expect luxury. staff friendly and helpful. little english spoken. rates similar to other pousadas that i have stayed in here. the only negative was that the wifi did not work but it was probably not a bad thing as it forced me to head into town (arrraial) and use the several internet cafes there and that allowed me to meet more people and have a few interesting encounters. it was possible to get back from arraial to the pousada late at night on a motorbike taxi and during the day in the bus or vans that run on rua balsa regularly. just stand opposite the hotrl and wave down a van or bus - 2r to arraial.

Our stay was everything we expected. Being low season it gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful natural ambiance of Trancoso and its surrounding areas. The staff were extremely helpful, providing us with tips on where to go, what to do and where the best restaurants were. A delicious hearty breakfast consisting of typical Brazilian delights was served every morning by Alvaro, who ensured that our stay was enjoyable. The rustic Bungalows, situated in the immaculately kept tropical garden, were spacious and comfortable. Each Bungalow had a small veranda with a hammock which allowed us to take in the beauty of our surroundings. We stayed for five days, but could have easily stayed for at least another five.

ok, but because it is a family run hotel, it do not tolarite girl friend from outside, and most of their client are brazilian family.so single should stay out.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and well located. However it's food and drink facilities could be improved. We were told they did lunch and dinner, with lunch from 2pm. When we ordered at 2pm (the only people there) it took an hour to get a burger. The beers are seriously overpriced, R12 each when most hotels charge R7-R8 per beer. So don't drink or eat here, but otherwise a nice place to stay.

Despite arriving when seguro was having a mosquito plague !!! Not our hotel fault ..... We did get bitten a bit Room could have done with a small table and the lack of a chair is annoying Evan in budget accomodation .... You don't always want sit on the bed if doing some reading / using laptop / writing notes / diary. Despite owners 1 Brazilian 1 Italian lack of English they were friendly and helpful. We liked the location just one street back from all the real hustle and bustle ... Hotel was always locked but someone on hand Evan if had only to ring door bell ... Hope owners read this to make small improvements ... If in seguro we would definitely return for the price.
