Best hotels & accommodations in Rochester (NY)

We came in at 2:30 AM and the front desk receptionist was welcoming and attentive. We were just passing through Rochester on our way to another city and the front desk was willing to give us a late check out which allowed us to sleep longer and wake up to a free fabulous breakfast at this Best Western. We managed to forget a bag in the lobby on leaving, which on calli...

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. It was a great romantic overnight escape when we lived in Rochester, just far enough out of town to feel like you got away. We now live in Massachusetts and decided to go the Woodcliff for our 20th anniversary. Even though 11 years have passed since our last stay, the hotel has been kept up well. Things a...

RIT Inn & Conference Center is a good place to stay, a good value if you don't mind being 15-20 minutes south of downtown Rochester. Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. It's a perfect place to stay if you are splitting your time between ROC and the Finger Lakes region. I usually like to stay closer to downtown, but would definitely stay here again if I needed...

There was a coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, microwave, and fridge in the room. The location is easy on/off the highway and surrounded by plenty of stores and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful enough to get us the key and on our way to our room in under 5 minutes. Basic breakfast options in the morning but its just enough to start the day.

I was told I selected a smoking room and no others were available. My confirmation stated clearly nonsmoking large bed. After review of the only available room which was a smoking room it was nasty. I went back to the desk clerk where I was then told an opening occurred. The second room had no tv signal . No phone signal, broken toilet, air/heating unit. . Again t...

Old, damp musty room and lobby area. Dirty room floor complements the trash in the hallway near elevator. A complete overhaul needs to be done to this Inn to bring it out of the 1980s and into the current year (2019). The furnishings from bed to furniture are worn out and some dangerous to sit in for fear of falling over (desk chair). Complimentary breakfast is s...

Went stayed at here during a visit to Rochester to take our kids to the strong museum. All the staff were friendly and professional and the room was exactly what we expected. The breakfast bar was great and had a lot of selection! Free parking and wifi too. The hot tub wasn’t hot the first night we were there, but was working properly by the second night. We would stay...

I highly recommend this place. The staff are wonderful. It’s clean, spacious, and breakfast is great. I like the fact that there’s a kitchen in our room. We could make our meal or go out to eat. And there are a lot of restaurant to choose from. And it’s nearby. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work.

Highly strongly recommended this hotel when you stay in Rochester. Friendly and welcoming staffs, price are included the breakfast and it’s actually a quite nice breakfast with self made fresh waffle! Complimentary coffee and tea all the time, the coffee is quite good as well. Lastly but not least, the room is very new and no smell, pretty decent size and clean! It say...

I found the operations Manager Anthony Demor to be rude and obnoxious. I did however, discuss this with the GM Mr Brian Potter the day before I checked out. Anthony Demor is not fit to be in the position he is in because his people skills as well as his orientations towards service is nothing short of appalling. With his current short comings Anthony should not be ...

The Del Monte is a nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The bathroom was nice size and modern. Location is nice for relaxation. It is right on the canal and walking distance to an area with restaurants and shops. The drive into town Rochester is about 15 minutes and not difficult.

We stayed here for two nights while doing a shopping/sight-seeing weekend. The location was central to the malls and very convenient to the Erie Canal and towns along it. We stayed in an efficiency room. The one thing that was strange was the fact that there were absolutely NO utensils in the room. All this was available at the front desk but it seemed strange that we ...
