We ordered a deluxe suite (2 bed, 2 room) on Agoda and received a "mini king suite" at the property (room 332) which had 1 room and a bed and a sofa. I selected an option (and paid for a more expensive option) for the bigger room and received what the Best Western staff said is one of the smallest rooms on the property. This was very dishonest and I do not trust this...

So the room is definitely decent for the price.. it could have been cleaned a little better. We had a throw up stain on our covers at the bottom of the bed. They advertise that there is a hot tub here and they no longer have one!!! Which was a huge inconvenience due to the fact that’s The only reason i booked the room. Besides that the only other thing that sucked was ...

only paid $89 for the room in June which is the high season. the price was great. had a king room. it was small but had just enough space. has a fridge and microwave and the air kept the room at a good temperature. they should really try and get black out curtains in the rooms as the curtains they have now are to think. Enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

I stayed one week and I loved it , bed very comfortable , great and helpful staff , loved the breakfast and waffle maker ..very good wifi and tv . The only worry is sometimes the noise of the trash truck early morning ... but overall a great stay and good value for money . Will stay there if I return to Santa Cruz .

This was the best place I might have ever stayed. Simple but clean, cool, no trouble At all, super nice and helpful staff both stays.... we loved it so much we came back 2 nights later. My boyfriend and I both felt the same instantly and can’t wait to stay here again. Highly recommend this lovely happy cozy place. Sam and Jay were both spectacular! Superfriendly ...

If you traveled all this way to stay in the hotel all day this may not be the place for you. If you want a central location that you can walk to the many attractions of Santa Cruz that is clean, affordable, secure and comfortable then you have come to the right hotel. This is a hotel that focuses on the fundamentals of the hospitality industry.

Very nice place, well located. Nice terrace, in front of the beach. The room was clean and very convenient with the kitchenette. There was no breakfast included. The staff was sympathic and professional. We booked a room with a pool view and they upgraded to sea view with no extra charge, that was very appreciated.

Went on a family trip with my parents and younger brother of 16 to Santa Cruz. We were looking for a pet friendly place that was around $100/night with decent amenities. However, I guess since Santa Cruz is such a touristy location, all the hotels/motels in the area were pretty expensive. This place was the cheapest one with two queen beds and was pet friendly. For $14...

We had a great time here. Staff let us park our car before even checking in that day. Gave us late check out for free and had one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever seen. We were given a king bed, which was awesome and there was a spa bath in our room to top it all off! Would definitely come back here. So cheap and great.

Place was an absolute joy to stay in. The room was freshly renovated and it looked like I was the first person to stay in the room. Everything was brand new and room was oversize. Did not get to enjoy the complimentary breakfast as I had to leave before it started. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Don't trust the pictures, this place is extremely run down. Broken heater/AC unit, holes in the curtains, bathroom from the 70s. The location is the only good thing about this hotel. Not enough parking spaces for everyone, we were told to park elsewhere after we went out for dinner and lost our parking spot. Extremely disappointed.

It was good, I've stayed here twice now and its a pretty good room near the beach and the boarwalk. There are some cool outdoor tanning/sitting areas around the pool and on the second floor too. If you are super picky about your hotel/motel rooms you be a little turned off by the room.

It was very nice being there. Yes the rooms are bit small and if you are tall and big or fat, it wont feel so comfortable climbing up the stairs especially if you are assigned to an attic room. But! for me, it was very charming hotel with clean, well organized and furnished room. Will definitely stay again.

Critical points: If you are calling to reserve a room ahead of time, request one on the same side of the street as the office. Keurig machine in room, but actual continental breakfast was pretty disappointing. Details: About 2/3 of the rooms in this motel are on the same side of the street as the office where you check in, with a pretty large parking lot and a gas sta...

The floor was black and sticky. Hair on the shower head, counter sticky too. When I complained to the Manager/Owner, he said he would thouroghly in vestigate the matter. BS, his unit was 20 feet away. Nothing more than words to make me go away. This place should be closed for health reasons. I took my shoes off to sleep, and walked 15 feet to the toilet, felt the stic...

The bunk beds are rather old hence they make creaking sounds whenever I turn. I tried to restrict my movements or turn gently to minimize the disturbances to other guests in the room. Had a really sore body when I woke up probably due to trying to sleep in one position. Overall, this is still value for money - it is close to the boardwalk and the place is generally cle...

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and entered our room. Good sized room, comfy bed, great bathroom!! But breakfast with make-it-yourself waffles was the icing on the cake! The motel is a short walk to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and also into town. My kids wanted to stay longer! My only complaint (not even a complaint really - just an observation) was that t...

It's an old motel and the facilities in the room is pretty run down. Suggest to have a renovation. The heater is faulty and the weather is cold for the 2 nights stay. Managed to get a heater fan from reception but it's too noisy to turn on throughout the night.

The hotel is in a good location and within w2alking distance to both downtown and the beach/boardwalk. Nice swimming pool and the room is comfortable. The only issue I had was the internet did not work and the morning breakfast does not start until 7AM which if you have an early start, you miss it.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at. I was there for one night and would have loved to stay longer. Room was clean and beautiful bathroom with a spa bath. Staff stayed back late at night so we would be able to check in and it is in a great location as well as being an interesting historical building to stay in. WOuld reccommend to any as this was excellent value for mo...
