"The hotel was much better than expected. In general 5* hotels in Santiago at this price are 3* at best - this was a good four star. The room with seperate lounge, cooking facilities (not used) and big bathroom presented value for money. Excellent service and attention. The breakfast on the 17 th floor was great. "

"Standard of staff was uneven, check-in staff was lovely but cleaning staff would sometimes leave rubbish from other rooms in my room after cleaning e.g. tissue box lid on the floor, opened and half finished tube of shampoo beside my sink ( I did not use the shampoo provided by the hotel as my hair reacts badly if I don’t use my usual brand so I know that tube was not from my room). Did not feel safe as the lock did not work and there was no door chain or bar. Staff sometimes opened the door after knocking once and without waiting for a response even when do not disturb light was on. A repairman tried to enter my female colleague’s room at 11pm and when she complained the hotel said it was part of normal “turndown” procedures. It is otherwise a fairly nice hotel with a supermarket across the street and eateries nearby but if you stay there make sure the safe in your room works and maybe barricade the door with furniture or luggage before going to bed."

"This hotel is a comfortable and very cosy hotel at libertador avenue. you can go right or left outside the hotel and both ways directs you to sightseeing places of interest. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking from Martin's Plaza and Florida Street (shopping area) and going to the other direction about 20 minutes walking to Recoletta area/cemetery. The hotel has great comfortable rooms with good beds. A very large bathroom. Breakfast is in buffet form but very simple and not really 5 star. Although the garden terrace is directly out of the restaurant and very nice. You can have breakfast there as well. We wanted to have diner in the evening but there was nobody using the restaurant. People moved to the bar area and had simple food up there. Although the area looks nice and cosy in english colonial style. The reception is very warm and helpful. We had an early check in while we arrived early by cruise ship. Also housekeeping is very helpful. There is a nice Spa and indoor swimming pool available but we did not have time to use it. A very recommendable hotel for a reasonable price. "

"Pros- close to airport but still a bus transfer away. Takes max 30 mins in high traffic around 6/7pm but not a bad situation. Bed comfy and had a good sleep. Cons- limited menu for food and service could be improved. Our drinks were forgotten as were other visitors during peak dinner time. "

"It wasn't until we actually stayed at the Luciano K that we appreciated how well situated it was for the activities we enjoyed in Santiago. It was conveniently located near one of the the Turistik Hop on-Hop off bus offices/stations, which worked for us because we had limited time. It is also near a wonderful artsy bohemian-like neighborhood with artisanal crafts, music and general festivity, as well as a number of excellent restaurants. We could walk to most attractions (museums, Mistral center, etc.) of interest to us. At the Luciano, the room we had was rather small and had no view; but it was contemporary, well-designed and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, gracious and helpful at every turn. The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the room afforded a view of the park and sculptures across the street. All together, staying here made Santiago a pleasant visit, and we ended up wishing we had more time to spend in this interesting city."

"Booking through Agoda got us a discount on the hotel rack rate - great, this is a 5* hotel in Providencia about a 5 min walk from Avenida Providencia - the main route into central Santiago. Hotel very smart with a doorman and everything. Room very reasonable size - huge bed and plenty of space. Really nice shower. Breakfast included was great, brilliant fruit selection, breads, pastries and cooked items. Very helpful staff and concierge. Book a taxi at transvip desk in airport to get here and then hotel booked us one back at 3am for early morning flight cost $CLP 21000 so good rate for that time in the morning. Didn't check out the pool or health spa but if anything like rest of hotel would have been really nice. Ratings only apply based on the discount agoda rate. If you had to pay full whack for this things might be different."
