"The hotel was much better than expected. In general 5* hotels in Santiago at this price are 3* at best - this was a good four star. The room with seperate lounge, cooking facilities (not used) and big bathroom presented value for money. Excellent service and attention. The breakfast on the 17 th floor was great. "

"It wasn't until we actually stayed at the Luciano K that we appreciated how well situated it was for the activities we enjoyed in Santiago. It was conveniently located near one of the the Turistik Hop on-Hop off bus offices/stations, which worked for us because we had limited time. It is also near a wonderful artsy bohemian-like neighborhood with artisanal crafts, music and general festivity, as well as a number of excellent restaurants. We could walk to most attractions (museums, Mistral center, etc.) of interest to us. At the Luciano, the room we had was rather small and had no view; but it was contemporary, well-designed and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, gracious and helpful at every turn. The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the room afforded a view of the park and sculptures across the street. All together, staying here made Santiago a pleasant visit, and we ended up wishing we had more time to spend in this interesting city."
