Sunshine Coast hotels & places to stay

We came to Ramada on the Sunshine coast for a suprise birthday weekend for my mums 60th! The staff were brilliant, they went above and beyond to ensure our weekend was memorable. I had ordered balloons that got deliered before we arrived, so they set them up in our room ready for us. Upon checking in they asked for my mothers name (who arrived later for the suprise) just in passing, I didnt think anything of it...we came back after lunch to find a note addressed to my mum wishing her a happy birthday with some chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine!! These little touches blew me away. And the room...THAT VIEW...with the panorma view through the windows and the rooftop terrance...i couldnt get enough. Some of the furniture, aircon and the rooftop area/spa were a bit outdated...but even still it was EXTREMELY good value for money. Very nice bathrooms and great little kitchen! I was in love with the room, but blown away by the customer service we received. We will be back!

Highly recommend Seamark. Great location, unit had one of the best equipped kitchens of any unit I've stayed in. With four children the unit was set out well and very easy to walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Kids were never bored with loads to do. Will be returning next year.

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with great facilities - especially the massive spa bath. Pool was fantastic and massive spa pool on the roof was a great way to relax with the temperature perfect (some spa pools are too cold). Enjoyed the games room - especially the pool table. Great place to unwind and plenty to do both at the resort and in the Sunshine Coast area. Would definitely recommend.

Landmark Resort is in an amazing location right on top of endless cafes, restaurants and shops within a couple minutes of your door step. Landmark Resort staff were so friendly and accommodating and will book you in early and text you when you room is available. The room facilities are remarkable and we will certainly be back real soon and Landmark Resort will be the only resort we stay in when we visit the Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic location, large apartment, spa is the highlight! Introductory paperwork with rules and policies is a bit agressive as well as note left in our room to say spare room is not for use, not necessarily a big deal but a tad off putting when you're on holiday and not paying to stress about the small things. Maybe this could be rectified with a bit of training in customer service to warm up the experience for guests. My partner and I are fairly to ourselves anyway and not hard to please but because we've stayed in a lot of places around Australia and overseas, we've found that it's really the little things that count and the staff and employees we've dealt with who have dictated our great and not so great experiences. Rolling surf is so-so, not the worst but not the best either although I have no doubt it could all improve with a little work. Nonetheless thanks for having us. Lèa and Luis

I'm very glad I made a great choice when staying at sunshine Coast. The 2 bedrooms high ocean view apartment was great, clean, comfort, family friendly, and everything was awesome

Lovely hotel right on a lagoon within a few mins walk to a beach on the Sunshine Coast. The hotel had plenty of options for food ranging from deli shop, buffet, a la carte and night time snacks plus the main bar was nice to sit in for drinks with friends. All places allowed you to put charges against the room which saved having to think or remember to have cash on hand. There were plenty of sports activities from golf to sailing to kayaking. We were there for a wedding close by therefore were very happy to find the Novotel twin waters nearby and to have a wonderful stay. Would go back next time in the region.

We had a ninth floor beach view unit which was all that we had hoped. Spectacular 180deg views, central location and great weather. The complex although starting to show some age is well maintained and thoroughly clean. The managers are extremely helpful and provide good advice. Restaurants, cafes and shops are at your doorstep and the beach is across the road. The location is central to all the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland has to offer. would stay here again.

We booked through agoda however there was an error with the type of room we booked when sent to their system. The staff were extremely helpful in ensuring we had the next best thing and we couldn’t have been happier! The treehouse was newly renovated and so private we felt relaxed and secluded. The freshly renovated bathroom and spa looking out over the trees and relaxing in front of the fireplace was just what we needed. Will be requesting that treehouse directly for our next visit. Thankyou so much!

Our two nights at Sea Breeze at Mooloolaba was the highlight of our short Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast holiday. The apartment is virtually brand new and is quite spacious. Both bedrooms had their own ensuites so the apartments would be perfect for a small family. We found card access for after hours entrance very reassuring. The check-in/check-out process was simple and the manager was very pleasant and helpful in his interactions with us. Its o'nly a short walk to the beach and esplanade shops. Very impressive location and we will hopefully return to the Sea Breeze in the near future.

Very enjoyable & relaxing. Great location - right beside National Park walks along the coast line, and right next to the beach. Would return here for sure.

Our stay was awesome. It was the first time I have taken my 11 year old son away and I wanted it to be special. I was a bit unsure when I first booked our room, it seemed to be too good to be true. I spoke with the resort personally a few times and was worried about being a nuisance. As we were a late check in I received a txt explaining how to gain entry. We were in the process of working it out and the loveliest cleaner was there and showed us how to gain access to the hotel and the carpark. She also told us about the interesting tourist things to do. The building looks awesome from the street (It was on a very busy road but once inside it was so quiet). The outside walls were really interesting in design as they let a whole lot of cool air through the property. Our room was Awesome. I had requested a room up high, which happened. We could see the ocean from our balcony. The bathroom supplied handwash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as shaving cream and skin lotion. Our kitchen was supplied with the basics, tea, coffee, sugar and some little milks. One condition is you had to dispose of your own rubbish and do the dishes on departure.The unit smelt devine and was spotlessly clean. It had air conditioning and free wifi. The pools, bbq and landscaping were lovely. The spa was heated. The manager was lovely to deal with. Our location was central to everything by car. I would def. stay again

My Husband and I had the best time staying at the Emerald. We stayed in a room where we could hear the live music downstairs every night. It did get loud at times, but overall we want to stay in that same room again!

Well it rained for the two days that I was in Noosa but Monica and her team did their best to still make it a good trip, be it with friendly smiles or helpful local advice. The Jacuzzi in the room was a welcome addition as well as the washing machine helping me to clean my clothes after a torrential downpour or five! I'd highly recommend this superbly-run business.

This was a fantastic place to stay! Right in the heart of Hasting street! Accommodation was nice and clean. The only cons that I have are that the bed was really hard to sleep on, we disnt sleep well. And the rooms are quite noisy, you can easily hear the next room banging doors etc. But for the location, cleanliness and lovely pool I would stay there again (I’d pack a mattress topper next time)

It was sudden booking and late check in. When we arrived at the place, already office was closed. But after we called her, she just came as soon as possible. She was so nice and sweet. The room was nice and clean. If I go back to Sunshine Coast, definitely I will stay here again!

Beachcomber is a great place to stay. No roads to cross to get to the beach. Can walk to restaurants very easily. We booked the 2b'room Penthouse, there are no oceans views and you have to go into stairwell and access the rooftop from there, where you will find and old couch, table and chairs and bbq with two sun chairs . We think the terraces are the better option if you are going to stay. We were allowed early check in and late checkout and Fiona was lovely. Pool is heated.

Stayed here for a weekend and loved everything. Gorgeous resort, views over the gold coast. 2 bedroom apartment we had was fantastic. Nothing to complain about at all. Located outside the main area of Noosa but it's a 3 minute drive in a car to Hastings street so still very convenient. Great base for the Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic location Great value for money Heated pool a bonus for cooler months The air conditioning unit sounded like a jet plane taking off so we couldn’t use it...luckily it was cool enough! More blankets needed...there was only a sheet on the bed....nothing else...we found a thin blanket in the cupboard when it turned chilly in the morning Overall very satisfied, however I would not have coped well had it been too hot or cold!! Book a beach view unit if you don’t want to look out onto a side street or other units from your balcony 😊

Our apartment was very clean & spacious & had everything thing we needed for our 6 day visit, great location. Steve was very helpful & nothing was a problem for him. Would certainly stay here again when we come to Australia to visit our grandchildren. Only downside was lack of internet provided.

Loved every minute. One of the best places I have ever stayed because of its location and views of the ocean. All the home comforts. There were only the two of us, but we had a bathroom each. Bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Kitchen facilities were great. Being able to go to sleep with the sounds of the ocean was wonderful.

Everything good about this Apartment! The only problem we had is our vehicle was 2.1m High so we had to park it at the visitors lot. Otherwise everything else was great! The apartment had everything we need. There were 13 of us and we booked 2 units of 3 bedroom Apartment. Their reception is close by 5pm and they are opened the next day at 8.30am. The Big Supermarket Aldi is within walking distance. So we Walked there to get Salt and eggs which we forgot. It was a great vacation for my aunties n uncle. Will definitely be back ❤️👍👍

Lovely staff, nice and quite. Easy walk to the beach. Great spot to base your self for cycling the sunny coast, with a nice warm spa afterwards! Helped out with allowing me a late check out. We will be back.

We stayed the Sunseeker with another couple when we attended a wedding in a nearby town on the Sunshine Coast. The welcoming staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Our shared space was large enough to accommodate us and the occasional visitors. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and adequate for our needs. The views from the balcony were superb. The location of the apartments allowed us to walk to dining and entertainment areas of Noosa.

We booked this place through a mystery deal on agoda. We had a 3 bedroom unit. We were very happy with our room and the view and location. Plenty of room for my family of 6.

We had no issues with the accommodation. We found it exactly as described. Many food and activities are located away from the accomodation, so having a vehicle was a definite plus for us. We liked walking in the park across the street in the evening when lorakeets would fly into the trees above to roost for the night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.

Centrally placed between Maroochydore and Mooloolaba you can walk in any direction along the coast path and get to all the attractions of both towns. Three surf clubs are stationed along the coast for safe family fun and plenty of other actions. We were in cabin 101 and could even see the sea from our little porch.
