Traveler impressions of Tagaytay
If you want to recuperate or just relax, this is a good place to stay. There are a lot places to visit and do activities with.
Still a good place to go to. Cold, enjoyable view, friendly residents, a very organized city. However, it is slowly being developed, subdivisions/villages are being built, in some there are plans to build a high rise condominium or hotel.
Tagaytay is a nice place, EXCEPT the traffic jam! I hope government can do something about it. Its a down fall, I hope transportation in tagaytay can keep up with the progressive state of the city now.
do not go during holidays or long weekends as the city tends to get overcrowded and traffic builds quickly.
Great weekend getaway and place to unwind. Very accessible and just an hour drive (or even less depending on traffic condition) from Manila.
Tagaytay is very nice. Ambiance is so heartwarming even the temperature is low. Many activities and sights to do and see.
Fantastic! So close to Metro Manila yet gives an ambience of relaxation and renewal! Great place to unwind and relax
Overated as a tourist location. Once you've seen the view there is nothing much else to do. The roads are badly lit at night so driving is dangerous, the traffic was mainly at a stop as the roads are narrow.
Tagaytay is no longer Tagaytay. With the photobomber of condos and malls, this is not a place to relax anymore.
one of my favorite city in the philippines. i loved the weather. the place is so peaceful and quiet.
This is a beautiful place. People are very friendly, helpful, accommodating. Lots of quality restaurants to choose from.
It is a nice place to saty. Weather is good and people are friendly. Many stores where you can get souvenir items for gifts.
A nice place to visit, lots of development in the area, good view of taal. Nice food and lots of resto.
Tagaytay has been my weekend getaway everytime I'm in Manila. It's a short and easy drive from Metro Manila once the scenery changes from city to open spaces.
Tagaytay has to maintained in terms of its natural environment. Traffic has to be improved during weekends.
What a heart-warming stay. Can't get enough of Tagaytay. Every stay gets better. Love your sunflowers!
Everything is nice in Tagaytay especially their Bulalo! The bad thing about this place is ----- moderate to heavy traffic regardless of the date.
Family bonding is great with good food, nice weather and great for relaxation. Horrible traffic during holidays
The views over the lake are spectacular, The traffic getting there was terrible! It took us over four hours on a Friday afternoon to go from Manila airport to Tagaytay, the traffic was nose-to-tail all the way.
One of the best vacation spots in the Philippines. There are a lot of places to go to and activities to do.
It is a relaxing place to go especially during the cold weather. There are places of interest for eating, relaxing, prayer and fun for the family.
super city near Manila. nice climate, pleasant people, interesting dining areas and just right amount of recreation.
Nice weather and lots of park and activity for the whole family, A romantic place for couples, excellent for sightseeing and dining.
Tagaytay is a very nice city with friendly natives. A very ideal place for people looking for some time to retreat and unwind.
I have been to Tagaytay for, I can say, hundreds of times, since I live just about an hour away from the place.
There's an entrance fee to almost everything, from Sky Ranch, to Picnic Grove and Palace in the Sky. The entrance fee is just being pocketed as no developments or improvements are being done in the area.
Tagaytay used to be a place where people from Manila can escape the heat in the metro. However, in our recent trip, Tagaytay's climate is not as cold as it used to be.
a nice getaway near the city. good and delectable food choices. relaxing weather. freshest market finds.
Good transportation terrible traffic, hotels over priced typical tourist trap without the infrastructure.
