Tbilisi hotels & places to stay

We were here that Grove Design Hotel from 30th May 2018 - 02nd June 2018. We had a pleasant stay..Rooms were cosy, beds were comfortable, staffs were very helpful.The only thing which I didn't liked about the hotel was their breakfast spread.The options were very limited and for all the three days of my stay they didn't change their breakfast menu which is quite absurd. Overall a decent stay!

Everything is great about this place. Beautiful design, delish breakfast (one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had), cozy, easy walking to old town, university, park, and other major attractions. The room was somewhat small but fine for 1-2 people. Also if you are a light sleeper, walls are a bit thin. But they provide earplugs and it was okay even without the earplugs. Will definitely stay here if I’m ever in Tbilisi again.

Excellent service from the hoteliers, They are very accommodating, near to the metro, bus stop station, money exchange and you can walk 15mins to reach the holy Trinity Church, ang 10mins taxi to reach the old tbilisi. I really love this place especially the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and the panoramic breakfast view from the 6th floor.

the hotel is at very nice location.. the view from my room was spectacular.. the staffs are very helpful. I will recommend this hotel to everyone who is planning to travel to Tblissi.

Although there’re plenty number of hotels in Tbilisi, I’m sure that this is the best choice. Staffs were really friendly. Even though they are utterly busy, they take all customers with big smile and unlimited hospitality. I do love Tbilisi. If I hadn’t stayed at another hotel, I didn’t have such a good feeling to the city. The location is absolutely great as others mentioned. The hotel facing Liberty square connecting Rustaveli str which is a Main Street of the city. Also 5min to old city and get to the oldest church in Georgia on foot. Considering the hospitality and the location, this is one of the wisest choice.

The hotel is highly recommended. It's located just opposite famous Gabriadze puppet theatre and couple of steps away from New Bridge and Old City. Design and space are well-thought, we had budget room but it had everything to be happy with. Beds and pillows were comfortable, wc and shower - extra clean. Terrace with a river view is a huge WOW. Nice staff members. They even had bath robes! Would definitely come back again.

I have been an avid traveler in the past many years and I have been staying in many hotels, guest houses, etc. For my experience, I completely understand what an accommodation facility should be offering. And I am really amazed by the level of comfort and finest customer services Guest House 36 is providing. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the location is best, and all the best attractions of Tbilisi are around this place. The best thing about this place is the staff behavior; all the staff members are friendly, extremely professional and truly best at their attitude. Whatever a traveler needs while staying in a city; this place offers it all. If there were more stars to give; I would definitely give them all :) Kudos Guest House 36 Team!

Good stay and got a complimentary upgrade. Good size of the rooms and overall happy i chose this place as its located perfectly to access the old part as well as the Vake area in Tbilisi.

The room was great and very clean but as soon as you go out of the room that’s where the problem is. The building is still unfinished and construction in other units are ongoing so it becomes dusty. The elevator is in its worst state. We’re stuck several times and it’s traffic in there. Otherwise, the property is great Shalva and Marian we’re helpful too.

Gold Tbilisi only opened in December 2017. We stayed 1 week. Loved it! Initially it appears the hotel is out of the way in suburbs, but there is so much in the vicinity of the hotel - mini-marts, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, bars, money exchanges, public transport including Metro station, Hop-on Hop-off Bus stop, historical points of interest, Fabrika Hostel in an old factory with fabulous nightlife. Walk down and across the bridge to discover some great English and Irish pubs. Metro is 2 stops to Liberty Square - huge range of outdoor restaurants and historical sites like the sulphur baths and National Museum. City Sightseeing Bus Tours starts just down from the hotel outside Subway. We bought 48 hour red, green and blue bus tours. Day 1 - red and green lines. Day 2 - blue tour (half day) - to the old city, a couple of monasteries and a winery. We hired the hotel driver for 2 day tours - limited English, but private car, so no hassles like a bus tour. Highly recommend hotel

Very nice trip in this hotel.Very nice staff, nice hotel, nice location.I like the garden here,with some cute rabbits.I love Tibilisi because Gold Star Hotel locates here!

The Home/Tbilisi is located very close to the Freedom square and at walk able distance to the the Kote Apkhazi street. Located on the 6th floor of an otherwise inhabited (looks like to me atleast) building, there are 5 apartments within it. We had taken 2 rooms and there was no balcony. The view from the window was very good. Comfort wise, this property is excellent and pros of this apartment ends there. We saw a lack of attention from the owner. He had met us and given us the Whatsapp contact but with limited network access, we saw that option pointless. What made me write this negative review was 1. No additional toilet papers- For a family staying for over 3 nights, keeping stock in the apartment was overlooked. This is what I call inattentiveness 2. There is NO room service or daily cleaning. If that was the case, at least extra bathroom mats would have been a welcome. I ended up washing the dirty linen every night to have a clean bathroom 3. There is no toiletries. Overall 2/5

From the front desk staff to the lady in the kitchen to the driver, everyone that worked here were great. It was a nice walk to the middle of the city, but if you can't do the uphill walk then maybe this isn't the place for you. We walked to the Funicular, Liberty Square, Peace Bridge, and the Dry Bridge Market from here. (by the way, if you go to the Dry Bridge Market for 2nd hand and homemade stuff, check out Sosa's cafe/bakery) We stayed in a windowless room for dirt cheap and we just used the balcony in the dining area if we wanted the great views or pictures that the hotel's location provided. It is a quiet area so if you want to party keep that in mind (use Taxify instead of Uber to save a little).

It was my third stay in River Side and it was much better than previous years. They had very nice renovation. Room was very beautiful, staff is helpful, location is excellent to walk to Rustaveli or go on a meeting somewhere, close to opera. Breakfast was improved very much, even offered free champagne in the morning! And rooftop tiffany terrace with lots of nice people in the evening. Recommend

Hotel is situated close to metro but in the yard, so taxi driver spent a lot of time to find it. For main sightseeings you have to walk for 25-30 minutes or go by transport. Family room was clean, very simple with small kitchen bur without cutlery. Personell was very gentle, polite and friendly. They help us to plan evening, find individual driver to Mtskheta and book a table in good restaurant with georgian performance.

The hotel is located in a main avenue, 5-10 minutes by taxi( roughly 2 USD each way) to old town but leading to the main avenue in Tbilisi on foot in a 10 minutes walk. The hotel is either new or newly refurbished in very good taste and therefore the rooms/lobby are in excellent condition. Staff are very helpful, professional and speak English. The breakfast and other meals were excellent. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. It was a very pleasant stay.

Little hard to find, but pretty central... Not much to do, and only few English news channels, but overall good... Would stay here again, staff friendly, short walk to anything you could want...

Hotel is tastefully furnished. Hotel owners go out of their way to serve. Courteous, nice and welcoming. Suitable for any request at any time. Strongly recommend getting. We will return for sure.

Just like other Moxy hotels - this one is modern, fresh and welcoming. Rooms are small but well designed. Staff are very helpful and have a lovely attitude. Breakfast wasnt included in our room unfortunately, so I cant comment on that. I would recommend in Tbilisi as, for the price, it's hard to beat and there is very little competition. The exact same moxy room in other cities e.g. Berlin, New York, would cosy 3 or 4 times more.

The Istanbul Hotel was in very good location in Tbilisi and the Istanbul Hotel was geving good service and The Istanbul Hotel was in city center of Tbillsi city . The Istanbul Hotel was in Tabllisi was very good price.

It was my first time leaving in a hostel on a trip and was the best one. There are so many good facilities on this property which let me point to some of them. Ambiance: You really feel like, you're in a prison, a very nice and clean prison! Cleaning: As I told above, the property is very clean with comfortable beds and nice balcony. Location: It has been placed in very good location, you can reach to liberty square, Meidan and Rike park by walking for less than 10 min. Hospitality: The owner of hostel (Levani) was an amazing host! Very accommodating, helpful and informative, he shared with me home-made wine and chacha, I never forgive his kindness. Definitely "Alcatraz Jail Hostel" is my only choice to stay in Tbilisi.

5 star service from Envoy Hostel!! Perfect Location to start your day in Tbilisi, many delicious georgian foods nearby the hostel, staff really keen to help for any inquiries.

The hotel driver was waiting for us after our 3 am arrival in Tbilisi which was very nice but after that it was a downhill experience. The shuttle bus trip to the hotel was free and after arriving at the hotel, we made an arrangement with the driver named Aron to take us to our next accomodation which was half way between this hotel (situated nearby the airport) and the city centre. The room was very huge and overall quite clean but the bathroom was quite smelly and no amenities (shampoo, toothbrush etc) was provided whatsoever. The following day, the breakfast was made by the hotel which was very simple consisting of an omelette, bread, jam and butter. Then Aron the driver drove us to our next destination which was the worst mistake we made! It was a 15 minute journey which normally would've cost about 7GEL maximum but after arriving at the place he charged us 50GEL which was over 7 times the usual amount! PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THAT UNTRUSTWORTHY AND SLY DRIVER. WE DON'T RECOMMEND!!!

It's so nice to stay in this hotel will recommend to our friends who wants to visit Georgia specially to Mr. Sergio the driver who give us information about Georgian culture during our stay in Georgia.

They are waiting for us for airport pick up and, when we want to go to ushguli for 2 days trips, our host let us put our big luggage at the house. She is very helpful and understanding. We really recommend this Guesthouse.
