Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza gochome
Ginza,Tokyo - View on map
"I have stayed in many hotels in Tokyo and for the price-range, this hotel comes out tops. Location is excellent. It is near to a couple of subway stations on different lines, and Ginza in itself is already a pretty central area accessible from many other parts of Tokyo and the airports. It took me around half an hour to get to Haneda Airport on the subway. I was with my elderly parents and we all absolutely loved the bath facility that mimicked a traditional open-air bath. It was a great way to soothe our bodies and legs after a day of powering through the city. The rooms here are also very spacious as compared to other business hotels in Tokyo offering rooms of the same prices. A very good-sized floor to ceiling window was in the Triple room and a very decent-sized seating area was also provided in the couple room I stayed with my husband. I will definitely stay here the next time I go to Tokyo again for the size of its rooms and the facilities. "

Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu

"The Shibuya Excel Hotel was my first stay in Tokyo Japan. I must say it was the most wonderful experience. The Hotel is brilliantly located, has the best views, lovely and clean and tidy and very quiet. Very relaxing to return to after a busy day exploring this wonderful part of the world. The staff are great ambassadors for Japan and maintain that lovely warmth, respect and friendliness of all Japanese people. I have no hesitation in recommending the Shibuya Excel to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel in Tokyo. The longer you stay the better!!!"

Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu
Shibuya,Tokyo - View on map
"It was a gamble when we decided to try out this brand new hotel. And the gamble paid off! Because of Tokyo 2020, the whole Shibuya Stream was made very accessible via both underground passageways and aboveground skywalks to and from the Shibuya Station (JR line and Tokyo metro lines). Very convenient and straightforward. Just take exit 16 and you're at the hotel building. The size of the room we had was very very very good given that Tokyo hotel rooms are really tiny. This came with a small living space next to the windows and the bathroom was huge by Tokyo standards! Very thoughtful amenity kits were also provided. Cleaning was great throughout our one week stay. One small area of improvement would be front desk staff. Everytime I communicated with them, regardless of whether it is to help with making restaurant reservations or to ask them to fix the broken minibar fridge in our room, the staff didn't seem too keen. In fact, it's often less than the regular Japanese standards. "

sequence MIYASHITA PARK / SHIBUYA
Shibuya,Tokyo - View on map
"Wow, we had a wonderful stay at Sequence! I had been in touch before our arrival and our room and view were amazing - thank you! The room was so spacious and well equipped - we especially loved the shower gel and shampoo! Such a convenient location, very close to Shibuya station and all the new shopping/dining areas in Shibuya. Our view was AMAZING and we loved the little 'Hi Tokyo' sticker on the window (which is now in our photos too) the coffee shop had a lovely atmosphere. We didn't use the bar, but we did have breakfast in the morning - which was delicious! Couldn't fault our stay at all....we hope to return again soon!"

Hotel JAL City Haneda Tokyo
Haneda International Airport,Tokyo - View on map
"We weren't sure we would be able to make it to our hotel in Tokyo seeing as we were landing at about 10.30 pm at Haneda Int'l Airport so we decided to book this hotel. It was a brilliant decision because we were dragging our little boy around after a 6-hour flight and we all needed to just find somewhere to rest. The shuttle bus was very convenient. The front desk staff spoke good enough English and were very helpful. And most memorable was our first ramen meal in Japan at the ramen shop just opposite the hotel. It was super yummy! Rooms were small but that's to be expected. The room was very clean and my 5-year old remembers the JAL hotel very fondly as his favourite hotel."
