Zell Am See hotels & places to stay

I liked very much the food - especially at dinner, but the breakfast was also good. The wiesbeer and the gluwine were very tasteful. The location of the hotel is wonderful and very close to Shmittenhohe cabin and the gondola to the Panorama, which is helpful for skiers Also the room was very nice and comfortable, big enough for our needs. Overall, a very good hotel which we would like to visit again when in Zell am See.

It was good apartment for family ,, everything was amazing. I hope if there is resturant and checkin at 2:00

We stayed two nights in the apartment. The apartment was very nice and perfectly refurbished to a high standard. We checked in late so we recieved an email with instructions to a key box were the room keys were located. Reception open only during morning. Arrival by car is little tricky. No parking is available directly by the hotel. Public parking is located approx 250m behind and cost 9EUR. So when arriving by car you need to park across the hotel and carry the luggage. WIFI was little unstable and slow but worked for the most parts. Location is perfect. Right in the middle of town with all restaurants nearby. Note!!! In the price the cleaning fee is NOT included and is 69EUR and will be charged at check out. I didn't find any information regarding this when I booked the apparent. We had also trouble to pay the room with credit card. Cash only. Otherwise everything was good.

Very friendly family run hotel. Nothing too much trouble. Having arrived by motorcycle after riding through two days of rain the staff very kindly dried my boots overnight.

My son and I truly enjoyed the stay as the view from our balcony was breath-taking. Room was so well cleaned everyday when we returned from our trips even without being told to do so. Buffet Breakfast was always adequately laid and the other orders were quickly brought to the table by the efficient staffs.We were very glad that we stayed here.

Friendly sweet couple owners. Very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Everything fresh and delicious. Be sure to eat at their barbecue night if you can- was the best food we had in Austria! It was on Friday night. We will definitely return.

they really looked after us. the service was really good and everyone was friendly. the food was excellent. location was great - only a couple of minutes from the lake. the spa was really fabulous and not overpacked. they were very professional and wi-fi was free!

(Sehr) Unfreundliche und arrogante Angestellte. Das hat mich unglücklich gemacht. Das Frühstück und Bar war gut. If I go to Zell am See again, I will never again stay here. I think here is not recommendable. Because there are a lot of excellent hotel and so on in Zell am See.

We had the centre of town (restuarants, pubs, supermarkets, ski hire, etc) at our doorstep. The apartment was clean and the rooms were the right size. Renate and Jens are extremely friendly, helpful and informative. They made our stay in Zel an enjoyable experience.

The view from our balcony was lovely. Far from the center so if you're bussing/training in, you'll need to take a taxi because it is uphill. The room itself was very nice - comfortable beds, very clean - but we did have to wait half an hour for the owners, because they weren't there when we arrived. I guess we arrived early for check-in (11am...) and they had gone grocery shopping and left their guesthouse unattended. It was stressful but I suppose it was our bad luck. The owners are very kind, however, and overall, a nice stay.

This hotel is located in the center of the town of zell am see. The hotel is clean but the styling is mid 80's style and a bit old and badly lit. The bathroom is large and the staff is nice.

The hotel is great for a short stay but do not book through Agoda. I booked a Deluxe Room (queen size bed with 1 sofa bed) and it sent the order to Booking.com and I got a standard room instead (just a double bed) As I reached the hotel in the night, the receptionist and hotel staff has all left for the night, I couldnt do anything. The reception told me on the next day, she only see a standard room booking from booking.com Also do note that the hotel room does not have any electrical kettle. You can't boil any hot water in the room nor can you get any hot water once the hotel staff has left for the evening.

From the reception to the bar (peter) warm and very kind . The hotel completes all its 5 star rateings this property has over 3 pools fantastic

The staff go out of their way to make you welcome. The food is excellent and there is a good wellness centre/spa for use. Only thing is on Saturday nights drunk young people are out in the Zell Am See village streets until 05 00 yelling and screaming and the local authorities will not do anything. A problem for all hotels meaning no sleep for the night and likely to put off families visiting.

Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The charming couple who own this beautiful hotel made the stay very memorable for us. the location of the hotel is very nice. About a 100 meters from the main market of Zell Am See. the rooms are really small and the bathroom is the smallest that I have ever seen in my life but they had a charm of its own.

I booked the hotel and told to check in about 15 minutes away from hotel location which costs me (taxi) about 20 euro total up and down. The location is close to everything, I will not stay again in this hotel

I stayed with my family two nights i liked it too much and i wanted to extend two more days but unfortunately they told us that they were fully booked and i will come back to the same apartment next trip and i just want to thank the management for there warm welcome

Great experience , I enjoyed it very much but I wish the breakfast was better with more vuraities of dishes/food.

I enjoyed staying in the hotel. We were skiing for two days and shopping around the town. The restaurant is good with devious dinner.
