The Hotel's Goal is to Make You Happy and Satisfied”
I stayed 10 days at Cleopatra Hotel in Luxor's West Bank mid-February 2020. Their accommodations and service were superb! My room was large, with bright lights, a bathroom tiled white that makes it look clean and bright, lots of hot and cold water, comfortable double bed and, the most welcome of all mercies, a portable heater to combat the bitter cold. Breakfast was ample, with omelette, a mountain of bread, jam, a refreshing guava shake. And something Egyptian, if you wish, like fuul, fries, and sauteed aubergine. Mr. Nasser, the owner, is a pleasant business-minded gent you can talk to and bargain with about tours. And you can tell that the staff's foremost goal is to make you happy and satisfied with their service!I
Very family oriented business that just wanted to show travellers a fair and honest experience during their time here in Egypt.
Nasser always ensure that his guests are accommodated and assisted so well. The service is really good.
Very friendly owner”
Great value for the money, both the room and the restaurant. I only had one day in luxor. The owner let me in my room early in the morning. He arranged a guided tour, which was well worth the money. Probably cheaper than trying to do it myself. The guide real knew his history and spoke excellent English. The room was large and clean.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. Rooftop restaurant gave excellent views and also, the food was awesome and delicious. My companion is a vegetarian and the staff accomodated to her requests. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel manager Nasser also went the extra mile to welcome us and help us with our tours and sightseeing. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!
Good staff. Everything was good
Cosy well priced hotel on the West Bank”
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel as the rooms are very cosy and the staff make you feel as if you are part of the family. Its in an incredibly safe area and it has a great vibe. You can take a boat across the Nile to Luxor central and its a quick trip with great views. The view from the roof of the Hotel of The Valley of the Kings is exceptional as well! they have beer and all your meals are cooked fresh. Beautiful place to stay! Darren, Australia
Clean & comfy guesthouse on quiet side of the Nile”
Not really a hotel but a guesthouse. That said, it's an excellent guesthouse and was much cleaner than some four-star hotels we stayed in during our 10-day Egypt trip. Our room was spacious with a king-sized bed, lockable wardrobe, balcony, and bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was low, but there was always plenty of hot water. One of the highlights is the rooftop restaurant where you have breakfast (bread, jam, cheese, fried eggs, and fruit) every morning and can also have a home-cooked Egyptian dinner. The views are lovely and the food is quite good, too. We stayed during the chilly month of December and, after dinner, the staff would make a bonfire and we'd sit around chatting with the friendly staff and other guests. Another plus -- free WiFi that reaches all the rooms! Highly recommended.
