They need to replace towels, they don’t have enough parking for guest it gets really crowded in the evening time and people who stays in are not able to access the hotel. They also need to either fix Air conditioning or replace they don’t cool enough I got switched rooms because AC not working and still the other room AC was not cooling.

I chose to stay at the East End because I wanted to avoid the crowds and party-goers. Turned out I made the right choice! My treehouse bed had the most gorgeous view of the Caribbean Sea 😍 And from my serene treehouse balcony I could take in beautiful sunsets every day. It was low season so the property was going through an upgrade but Marek and Jana took a lot of car...

The staff is definitely there strong point. We have stayed here for years on our mission trips. The staff is like a family away from home. Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance staff welcomes us. Where they may lack in facility issues they make up for with their open arms. Love these folks.

This hotel needs a lot to be done. Decoration, accessibility to wi-fi in the rooms (now not possible) and free access (now you have to pay a surcharge), the food is 5 out of 10, The beach is very small, the rooms needs refurbishing....... The hangers in the closet are stuck on the bar, in case a customer leaves with it!!!!!! Listen, for an Italian owner...... It could...

this was an absolutely perfect stay. from the staff to the food, from the turn down service to the nature trails, every aspect was amazing. i can't recommend staying here enough. i saw more beautiful birds in this one night stay, than i have in my entire life. be sure to try the pico bonito rum drink and the seafood soup, they are both so delicious!

I'm not sure if it is because it was New Year's Day or if the service is always so minimal, but I was surprised to see the restaurant/cafe closed. The pool was under maintenance. I saw that there was a hair dryer dock, but there was no hair dryer in the room. The breakfast was decent and for the prices of hotels surrounding the area, it was a decent bargain. The ma...

I was there only one night, but found the setting to be quiet and peaceful. It has a laid back feeling with other guest respecting your space. Kelly the cook, does a great job with the meals, providing alternatives for those who request it. the lodge sits on a hill with a pool and dinning area on lower level so there are a number of steps to climb. the long dock out to...

The staff couldn't possibly have been any nicer. The owner (I think) gave us a heads up on the two malls around 5 minutes walk away. He even dropped us there. He sorted out an issue with a taxi driver and organised our taxi for the following day for us. The room was spotless and the only complaint we have is that due to a horrendous thunder storm and torrential rain, t...

Seagrape is just far enough away from all the noise, but close enough to still be involved. Its a quick walk into "town", less than 10 minutes. Seagrape has a great view of the sea, a pool and hammocks to relax in! The breakfast was great, a different main course every day. The hotel offers pickup and drop off at the airport, just book in advance and it will save you ...

Hotel is ok. Felt like they didn't get many guests so weren't used to dealing with customers, felt awkward while we were there. Although staff seemed friendly, communication issues as they don't speak ANY english and we only speak a bit of Spanish. Initially they didn't put us in the room we booked, but instead an old room with no hot water. We eventually managed to ex...

We had a wonderful visit for 3 nights. The breakfast each morning was fun for our family and very convenient! Showers had nice hot water and rooms were basic, but nice and clean. We enjoyed visiting each evening On the 2nd floor foyer area with couches and plenty of seating for everyone. Great Honduran hotel experience.

Pros: the beach is beautiful. Shuttle to and from airport. Cons: we had something go missing from.our room. They kept telling us they would investigmata and get back to us. They never did. It was very disappointing. At the end, the manager still never got in touch with us but offered to pay for the missing item. Also the breakfast was really unimpressive. And it wa...

Loved the common Lounge spaces - Terrace for relaxing - open-air living room for people watching on the street - lovely inner Courtyard Garden Very convenient location close to the square and the entrance into town helpful staff Rooms had pretty much everything you needed except for a fridge, but you could use the common one upstairs on the Terrace water refill stat...

Situated perfectly at the end of west end’s high street, so everything is in walking distance but it is still reasonably tranquil. The posada’s beach just in front of it offers reclining chairs, palm trees and a nice view over the bay. Kayaks can be borrowed for free. Rooms are nice with a little terrace with table, chairs and hammock.

The place is amazing. It feels like your own private compound. Peaceful and very relaxing. The staff is amazing. They even have horses, monkeys, parrots and 2 Toucan birds (if you ask the staff they will place the birds on your arm for a photo opportunity). We are definitely going back. I would give them more then 5 stars. It’s the best place in Trujillo by far.
