Best value for money. Live cooking counter for breakfast, which is never seen in Europe. Close proximity to major places. Not to forger the free steam/sauna/jacuzzi in the morning! One of the best places i have stayed in recently.

We had room with jacuzzy and it was just epic. The jacuzzy was huge and we had such a blast with my girlfriend. Can'e even recall how many hours we spend there in our 2 night stay, we couln't just get enough. I definitely recommend to take room with jacuzzy, you won't regret it.

Everything was great, like in ideal hostel. Friendly personnel, clean, and good hostel infrastructure! The only thing: they don't have one time use slippers for sale, so I decided not to take shower in a public bathroom

I had a great time to stay at this clean, quiet and centrally-located hostel. The staff isn't always there but very responsive and helpful. Particularly, I had a good night sleep there and like their unique constant / instant coffee or tea machine.
If your main priority is a nights sleep this is not suitable, if you want to socialise then I suppose its very cosy and friendly. Staff very friendly and willing to help.
I was given a room facing back lane this time, and it was a bit noisy. Ask for a room facing the courtyard if available.
Although the bed mattress is a bit hard you will enjoy the pretty special atmosphere of a sanatorium as it was in the 70s. You should see that.
I stayed just for a weekend in Gogol Park hostel, which relatively new place in Riga. Location is good, close to train and bus station and the city center. Rooms and other facilities where clean and quite new. Friendly staff and free wifi was a good thing also.
A good place to stay in Riga short term. The doors make a bit of noise at night when people slam them so if you're a light sleeper, expect to get woken up. The staff here are great. The place is spotless and the location is perfect.

You have to be careful with the map, because it's not that accurate. We followed Google maps and it brought us to an empty field. Just look for the sign on the road as you are leaving town and turn right. A bunch of fun activities for the kids. Just be aware, there is no bathroom inside the cabin, but there is a shower. The bathroom is an outhouse outside the cabin.

Actually I booked for just 1 night but stayed for 3 days and take a rest there. close to the bus terminal. Just one stop to go to Sigulda Castle. It has a beautiful garden and a house. The host served you a nice breakfast. Thank you:)

Good. I can walk to the center of old city by foot in 10~15 mins. next block, there is a maket. I can cook with fresh veges and pork. satified with this price. good living room. there is no air conditioner just is fan but good.(in July) If I will be in Latvia,will stay there again.
