A bad experience in a nice hotel”
A very nice hotel in a good location but what I can only describe as a hotel under some refurbishment, under staffed with untrained staff. I was disappointed with the beach area down to the dead sea, it felt like an unwanted extension to the hotel, there were not enough sunbeds on the beach and there was little customer service. Similarily the pool didn't have enough sunbeds for the number of guests and old and broken ones were brought out for us less fortunate guests who didn't arrive early enough at the pool. I was unfortunate enough to be put in a room next to where there was some refurbishment going on, the room had not been cleaned, the bed sheets were dirty and there was no towels or toiletries in the room. I had to call twice to get towels and toiletries for the room as well as for a room service menu. When my food arrived it was nice but it was interrupted by room service telling me that they had to send someone to collect payment for the meal that I had signed to my room bill. (The hotel had my credit card details and no one came to collect payment.) When I went to check out the room, I was handed an incorrect bill. Despite having the copies of the receipts that clearly showed that I had only signed for 1 of the bills, I was left waiting for approximately 15 minutes while the staff fumbled to correct their error. What had the potential to be a great experience was unfortunately ruined mostly by the staff on this occasion.

Lovely hotel by the Dead Sea let down by abrasive front-desk staff”
Arrived at the Hotel after a very long and tiring drive from Petra. On approaching the front-desk lady, her welcome was less than warm. Barely a smile. Not welcoming. I asked if my friend could use his IHG membership for the reservation to which she gave an abrupt response. However when my friend approached her and asked, she gave a long and flowing explanation. This was my first impression and sadly it spoiled my opinion compared to the wonderful staff at the nearby Holiday Inn where we stayed two nights prior. They really understand customer care from front-desk to the kitchen staff. On the plus-side, the restaurant is AMAZING. We tried the buffet and even at the late hour (10pm) the food was fresh, hot and very tasty! The location of the hotel is brilliant too along with stunning pool facilities with a lovely view across the dead sea.

Decent but perhaps better value in other hotels”
Got a great deal so happy overall. However, there was construction being done and they charge for using the gym. Some of the other hotels might be better value at full price.

Memories of Time Share Accommodations”
Spouse and I stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend after Eid. Reserved a Deluxe Bed with a terrace. Not impressed - it appears the hotel lobby have a different way of classifying their rooms and I'm pretty sure we just got the standard room. When i called down to the front desk to discuss (several times), my concern was never attended to. I don't recommend buying into the buffet breakfast - several food items dried / very poor quality, and food stations filthy. Saving grace for this visit was only the spa with its amazing water therapy fixtures - a playground for adults. Forget about enjoying the view from your terrace - there's a 5-8 foot brick wall at the end that blocks the view from your chair - not sure who thought of that. All in all, the rooms all look the same and reminded us of condo living and time share vacationing. Very unremarkable. The Spa can be accessed on its own however - we look forward to that. We noticed that MovenPick, Marriott and other similar grade hotels are similarly situated on the Sea and similarly priced.

The beach, the room, the service of the beach staff
Excellent stay. Quiet, peaceful hotel. Nice room with complimentary wifi and mini bar. Great access to the Dead Sea and very helpful lifeguards at the beach. Only issue is that the coffee and tea service at the buffet breakfast could have been better. Would stay again.

Great facilities, maximum enjoyment”
Clean room, great facilities and awesome staff service
When we reached there, the Prine Minister was just exiting the hotel so being the 'privileged' role he is holding, we had to wait a few minutes before we are allowed into the hotel. Nevertheless, the staff made every efforts to make us feel comfortable with their gesture, smile and speech. All speaks good English so we were able to understand. Check in was simple fast and clear suggesting that we put a refundable deposit with the hotel for internal expenses to avoid trouble of bringing cash with us wherever we go. Brilliant! The bellboy guided us to our room and showed us the facilities along the way. Guard at the Dead Sea coast was very friendly and helpful making the floating experience a wonderful one. The Lebanese restaurant, Burj al Haman, opens at 7pm sharp for dinner not even slightly earlier . Food and service is averagely good there. The overall experience is a superb one except for the breakfast spread. Dead Sea area has lots of flies yet the buffet spread was left open without proper covers leaving us not much choice for breakfast.

Good getaway to relax by the Dead Sea”
The rooms were very comfortable (especially the beds); nice, well kept private beach; large spa
The hotel's facilities are excellent and the landscaping is quite pleasing to the eye. The rooms are airy and comfortable; we slept like babies at night. The spa offers great services; however, apparently this varies according to which therapist you get. On the plus side, all the facilities in the spa are open to you when you book an appointment there. On the downside, the service left much to be desired. After check-in, we had to carry our own bags and find out own way to our room as there was no staff in sight to help us. The service at the restaurants was not much better. Additionally, the food is very disappointing for such a reknowned chain of hotels.
