Amazing location if you are in Dubai for shopping ”
Yes, it is amazing hotel if you are in Dubai for shopping. The hotel in the heart of of Naif market, Morshid market , and gold market. It is easy formula, if you are in Dubai for only shopping and business from the local market, don't miss this hotel.

OK for transit”
The hotel was OK for 1 night transit. It was nothing special, but it worked for me. However if I had to stay longer I wouldn't choose this hotel.

Most horrible hotel stay”
I think we were the only non-African guests during our stay and there is always a commotion in the front desk with African guests. Breakfast which only starts after 8AM (Don't come at 8AM because their staff only start arriving at 8AM) was like food for prisoners (same daily - hard boiled egg + 2 sausages + 2 round bread w/ butter & jam + tea or coffee). Rooms are clean but WiFi signal is only working half OK at the Front Desk, not in our room. The most disgusting is that your room's card key has to be reprogrammed daily. I think they are only programmed for one day stays. Hotel is not responsible for losses in your room so you will have to leave your important belongings like laptop/ipads in the front desk which was said to have a safe but they do not really have it. Their housekeeping staff have the habit of yelling, talking to you like you're an idiot.

some smell in the room, tv stuck on one chanel, unfriendly staff. They asked for our proof of marriage which I can understand but perhaps a heads up to carry this would be better”
cant change tv chanel, no drinking water in the rooms, front office asked us to leave our passports when we wanted to go for dinner, we however insisted on leaving with our passports to which they complied.

Nice hotel for the low budget ”
We were 2 persons. We stayed in Deira Palace Hotel for 4 nights. We had good experience with hotel and Agoda, too. The only thing that I don't like is breakfast. Tea was very bad. We are pure vegetarian so there weren't any other options for us for breakfast. The breakfast should be improved, I would like to say. Everything else was good. A budget hotel. I booked this 2050 INR per night for 2 persons. We had a personal room. We're from INDIA.

Reception people are horrible and know nothing about hospitality industry”
I went to the Diera palace hotel and the receptionist told me to pay 7 AED for the road tax that was already covered, and I had to tell him ok because he was very arguing and his English was basic with a sharp Pakistani accent, anyways after waiting in the lobby for more than 30 minutes while they were trying to find files and whatever this same receptionist just called a housekeeper to escort us to a different hotel called Sima without even explaining why he is making changes, then when I asked about the reason he said they were fully booked, I don't know if they care about Agoda clients or not but he didn't know that a customer with a confirmed reservation in a hotel should get a room and I don't understand how and why they would make double booking for a room with out saying the reason in a nice convincing way instead of calling a housekeeper to escort to another hotel. By the way Sima Hotel is a cleaner one and you should include it in your marketing. Thanks Agoda : )

My stay at Deira Palace Hotel”
Excellent location at Deira Gold Souq, facing an urban plaza, within a walking distance to "Al Ras metro station" and "Deira Gold Souq bus station". Rooms have balconies, which makes that place special for a stay in Dubai's old city quarters. Retro-designed hotel, that covers all necessary facilities, and basic breakfast is served the next morning. All in all good value accommodation, and recommended to travelers who know to appreciate Dubai's past charm.

Not worth the $16 I paid”
"Breakfast" was a chicken leg, 2 bread rolls, a HALF boiled hard boiled egg (which I asked for another one and that too was undercooked), and some hot milk with tea. The room smelled awful upon entering it and the bathroom had weird yellow stains all over it. Staff was very unhelpful in finding my way around town, they do not have a map of the area or of Dubai. Wifi is pretty horrendous, I'll just leave it there. And the tv in my room only received one channel the first night, and then the next morning it received no channels. I've been traveling all over the world for $15 or less per place and I had to spend the most money here. I would highly recommend paying a little more money for better accommodations elsewhere.
