Excellent location in Asakusa.”
The view from the riverside with Sky Tree at night is awesome! The only downside to this Dormy Inn hotel is that there is only 1 onsen. Women in the afternoon and men from the night time.

Not Bad for a Holiday”
Stayed for 5 nights. The location is definitely good and just 2 minutes walk from train station and quite fast to travel to other hot place of Tokyo. Very good staff, polite and efficient in English (kind of the best english speaker I met in Japan). Breakfast was included, set meal with light buffet of fruit and salads, and drinks. Public bath is add-on value though there is only one and Men & Women need to seperate the timing. Room had been cleaned on time daily. One point needs attention is I smelt some abnormal smell from the Air-con. Hotel might needs to arrange for a frequent cleaning.

Disappointed with the hot spring!!!!”
We booked this hotel because of the hot spring. However, we were told that there was just one hot spring, so the women and men were allocated different timings when we could use it. This was very inconvenient and disappointing because my husband and I could not go at the same time. The ladies were given the timing of 10 am to 8 pm, and I could almost never use the bath because: 1. On holiday, people would generally spend the most of the day out, and would usually come back after dinner, meaning the ladies barely had any time to visit the hot spring. 2. I had to rush back before 8pm if I wanted to use the hot spring. I guess many ladies were doing the same, because then the 6 shower cubicles were not enough to accommodate us all, and the few times I went I had to wait in line to shower (showering is necessary before entering the bath)!!! But the staff were nice and the breakfast and free ramen were satisfactory.

Delicates”
Cozy and comfortable here, small space but you got everything you need in a hot spot like Asakusa. Their breakfast is the highlight to us, still, simple but very satisfied. Especially appreciate their front dest hostess Ms. Lo helped us a lot. Some advises to the supervisor. The water in bathroom was low flow in R511, and the smell in R512 may need fix even it could solved by turn the AC on. Overall it would definatly be our first choice next time.

Good place to stay - a good chain hotel”
Dormy Inn is our go-to hotel: room is always decent and clean. The inn is with a nice spa, a good noodle service after 9:30pm, a great breakfast, and in a good location.

Great hotel”
First time staying in Asakusa - this hotel is close to the exit of train station and close to Nakamise-dori shopping and Sensoji. Went when sakura was in bloom and this hotel is right on Sumida river and park so we literally walked outside to see blossoms. View of sky tree from our window was a plus. Room size was big (we got a triple). Only thing - we arrived at Haneda late at night and he next Airport Limousine was going to depart 4 hours later so had to catch trains to get to Asakusa. They have an onsen on one of the upper floors, but it's men only at night (I think after 8pm?). Free ramen every night. Breakfast was well worth it - but you need to order it the night before. Asakusa is empty at night and most places are closed. Even the Yoshinoya closes at midnight I think. So if you are looking for nightlife - stay in Shibuya or Shinjuku. But it's a great time to go to Sensoji Temple.

Lovely hotel near train station and overlooking Sumida River, Tokyo Sky tree and Asahi Building ”
Location was superb and near to Nakamise Shopping street, Senso-ji temple and Asakusa shrine. Great landmarks and tourist spots are accessible with a 2-minute walk to Ginza Station and 3-minute to Asakusa Station via Ekimise shopping mall right across the street. Room was tad small but may fit 2 people. Cute terrace overlooking Sumida Park was a delight due to the fantastically abundant cherry blossom trees sprawling along the river bank in spring. Also, the Tokyo Skytree and Asahi Building are seen from across the river. Hotel staff were polite and eager to please guests. Buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing because of repeated menus. Will skip that option on our next visit! Although, a free ramen every night was satisfying and kept our hungers at bay.

Exceptional”
Great staff who can speak English. Very generous breakfast offering (small buffet or a daily Japanese or Western set). Small room/bathroom which is common for Tokyo, but clean and comfortable. Riverside rooms have a great view. Few steps away from the Ginza line, and another few away from the Asakusa line, and very close to Sensoji Temple and Skytree. Perfect location for visiting the east side of Tokyo.

Perfect for Sakura viewing”
Located right on the Sumida river/Park, the Sakura is literally right outside. Request a river view and you can just stay in your room. The river cruise office is also down the street. Subway and JR lines close by. Senso-ji is a 5 minute walk. Go there at night for great photos. The area is kinda slow at night (compared to Shinjuku and Shibuya) but I’m sure if you look you can find things to do. Staff all spoke English.

Nice hotel in asakusa area, room a little small (however that is the norm in Tokyo), hot spring time for male and female is different and thus making it a bit inconvenient.
