In the Lake District village of Elterwater, the independent Elterwater Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, with a communal lounge and dining area. Male, female and mixed dormitories have bunk beds and use of shared bathrooms and private showers. Guests can relax in the lounge and make use a well-equipped kitchen, drying room and storage facilities.

Parking is available in the National Trust Car Park, 100 metres from the hostel, and is free for National Trust Members
