Love this hotel, Daiba area is nice”
Daiba is a very nice area, Daiba Station connecting Grand Nikko Hotel in one side, and Hilton hotel on the other side, the pedestrian level around the area make us very convenient to go around some malls like Aquacity and Diver City without worrying the cars.... a great place to view tokyo bay and rainbow bridge . In Grand Nikko hotel we can choose 3 restaurant to have breakfast, one is international breakfast, the other two are Japanese style breakfast. We stay here 5 nights, so we can try all... all is very nice. But if you come with children, still better to have the international breakfast, cause kids maybe can not eat raw food . Room is spacious and clean, nice staffs. There are also shuttle bus to Disneyland and other area. Some is free, some not. Limousine bus to Haneda and Narita airport also reach this hotel.
cleaning staff could improve”
on the day before last, i put the bubble wraps inside a shopping bag for packing. in the evening, they are all gone! i have previously have others things on the floor (many days) and no one touched it. i assume some cleaning crew are good some are not. i stayed for 8 nights. i would give 5 stars to the 7 nights, for the last night, i would give only 1. for cleanliness, overall ok, but they sometimes do not clean the coffee machine.
Wonderful experience ”
We love this hotel! We drove a car and they have guest parking service. The hotel is closed to the metro station and there are big shopping centre around. The hotel is new and clean. Room is relatively big. It was very clean. I loved that they used Pola as personal care products and the bath tub has a view! Unbeatable! We will definitely come back to this hotel next time!
Beautiful hotel in a great location!!”
The hotel was wonderful! So close to a subway station with so many malls and things to do around it! The hotel also had a free shuttle to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea, and had an airport bus service to Haneda! So convenient!!! Rooms were so big for a tokyo hotel!!!
Great first impression of Japan”
This is our first time in Japan, and this hotel exceeded our expectation! I gave 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 for Value for Money and Facilities because the breakfast is very expensive per person and the room furnishings are scratched up are the decor is dated. The staff was excellent!!
Luxury stay 5stars”
It was everything we expected. Paid extra for the executive club room with club lounge access, and it was worth every cent! Lounge serves finger food, tea, coffee, drinks all day and even self pour alcohol and spirits in the evening. We booked for convenience for the last 2 days before departing japan. There is a free tokyo bay shuttle bus that takes you to all main shops, attractions and train station. And Airport Limosine right at the lobby door which we took to Narita for 2800¥ pp. Lots of restaurants downstairs but pricey. Dining at nearby shopping centres was really good and cheaper. Rooms without rainbow bridge view were still just as beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to splurge for a night or two before departing japan!
The staff are very courteous and helpful.”
All the staff were warm and welcoming, plus there was no problem with the English language. The room was outdated but big and comfortable for our family of 5. With all 3 big luggages open, the kids still had ample room to move around. The bathroom was a good size too. The view from the room was excellent, we can see the skyline of Tokyo city, a couple of Odaiba malls, the museum. The malls are close by and connect to the mall, so does the train station. It’s very easy to go to the city. There’s a free bus to go around Odaiba and to Disneyland. There’s more than 2 different restos for the free breakfast which is great if you’re staying for more than a week like my family did. Staying in Nikko was a great experience.
Join Nikko loyalty program”
Convenient for Narita limo bus to hotel at certain times of day. No late night limo bus however so stayed at sister property near Narita airport. Joined their free Nikko program and gives priority checkin. Convenient for visiting Odaiba area as train station close by and easy access to all the mall. Visit to the Oedo Onsen is fun; get discount entry ticket on klook.com.
Would stay here again for the view”
Great place to stay at a reasonable price. We got the 27th floor with executive lounge access. The views of the bay with rainbow bridge, tokyo tower were stunning. The breakfast was ok with a few vegeterian options. It is quite far from the main Tokyo city but if you want some calm after whole day’s hustle bustle, it’s perfect! Also, Aquacity Odaiba nextdoor has plenty of eating and shopping options.
Great for visiting Odaiba in Tokyo”
Get the Nikko loyalty card. It will expedite your checkin. Limosine bus from Narita stops at this hotel as well as others in the area. Easy walk to shopping malls. Also pier for Asakusa water shuttle nearby. Get the Yukitome day pass for unlimited travel on the train serving Odaiba. Visit to the Odaiba Onsen was well worth the time and got the Klook discount online prior to going.
4* hotel but 5* service..room is big for triple sharing..we even have enough space for 3 big luggage and 2 small luggage..even though it’s away from town area, this area is also equipped with 3 big shopping malls and one outlet..there’s a new train line that can bring you to town within 30mins.
Great hotel in a great location”
Room is spacious, also the bathroom. It is a very great deal with a price I get. Design is a little bit old style but that is not a problem at all. Location is very good, the view from the room is fantastic and everything is pretty much there in Odaiba, so it's perfect for shopping. It is close to train station as well (Yurikamome Line) and the airport limousine bus from airport stops in front of the hotel. There is a bus stop for Rainbow Bus to Shinagawa station as well. Staffs are also very attentive and speak English decently. The only drawback is the pool and gym requires a fee. Overall I am very satisfied and will consider this hotel again in our next visit.
We booked for Luxury Grand King room. The bed is huge and so are the room and toilet. Good service and conveniently located to the train station as well as 2 shopping malls. Located next to the Statue of Liberty. This hotel is away from the central and has free shuttle to Disneyland/Sea. Also has direct shuttle bus to airports. Very happy with this stay. Breakfast spread is also good.
Great family hotel for young family with kids”
I traveled with 3 kids aged 8, 6 and 4 and Grand Nikko is great hotel for family travellers. I would definitely recommend it. Location is excellent being just few steps away from Daiba Station.
Fantastic location and a Disney friendly location”
Location is fantastic close to shopping and only a short walk to the monorail. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly they also offer a free Disney bus to Disneyland and Disneysea. They also offer a bus to narita airport for 2800JPY per person. Which is handy if you have a lot of luggage. When we booked Grand Nikko we didn't know that they changed from the Old Hilton location which we prefer the now current location of Hilton which has a better facilities. But nonetheless still a great place.
Great for people going to Disneyland”
Exceptional view of Rainbow Bridge over Tokyo Bay from the room. Great option for who are going to Disneyland or Disney Sea as Hotel is one of the Good Neighbour Hotel that offers Free shuttles to/from Hotel and Parks - Pre book with Hotel. The room rate is very expensive and so as restaurants but worth it! Convenience Store onsite and more restaurants and shops at the Malls in Odaiba.
This is really suitable for families with little kids. It’s next door Daiba station and there are three shopping centres nearby. Rainbow Bridge can be seen from the hotel and there is a beach within minutes walk. Hotel itself is what’s to be expected for a 4-4.5 star hotel in Tokyo, with decent size rooms; it’s very quiet, away from the hustle of Tokyo city centre. I would recommend this if you are interested in exploring the Daiba area or are in the mood for a slow-paced, relaxing holiday.
It was a nice stay. Close to the train station & convenience store. Don’t have to go far to shop because you are spoilt with 05 shopping Malls. Bring your passport along because some of the shops are duty free. If you are a fan of Gundam, there’s a huge unicorn Gundam near Diver city shopping mall. Free shuttle from hotel ( need to do online reservation) to DisneyLand & Disney Sea was convenient. There’s the free odaiba rainbow bus that brings you to shopping Malls if you don’t feel like walking. The airport limousine stops in front of Hotel (JPY520 per trip) Will stay here again.
Good Hotel & Location”
It was a pleasant stay at Grand Nikko Daiba. First, we were surprised how close it is to the train station. And it was a walking distance to Diver City & Aqua City. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They provide shuttle bus to Disney Resort for free (reservation required)
Great hotel ”
The room is really spacious, staff well trained and great service, and we are near many shopping Malls with tax free service. Though it’s a distance from Shinjuku etc, it is where we wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle. We love this hotel.
