cleanliness, staff, room rate
feel okay because room rate is reasonable. 30 mins walk to downtown is a bit far but okay as local tour pickup at hotel by bus

easy to reach, efficient check-in and -out, clean and comfortable
It's a half day layover which doesn't count much to give proper impression of either the city or the hotel

Acceptable”
Clean room, OK breakfast, friendly staff
The hotel is at a 30 minute walk from the core, in a business area deserted at night. It is relatively good value compared to the exhorbitant prices of other hotel in Reykjavik, for a clean, comfortable room and an OK breakfast

The stay was comfortable ”
Ocean view, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet
The room was tiny. We have not stayed in any hotel with such tiny rooms. The bathroom was very small with no hair dryer. There was no space in the room for our two big suitcases. We have to stacked them vertically next to the door to be able to walk to the bathroom.

Popular with tourists
It was convenient as all the tour and airport buses picked us up from the hotel. We did not need to fret about going to places we wanted to go.

reasonable price
very small room, far from the down town, expensive wifi at room
I stay in Reykjavik for 10 day and stay in 3 hotels which all priced EUR 25-29 per night, only Cabin Hotel need to pay for the wifi at room in a expensive cost, the other two are free (most of the hotel in Reyjavik provided free wifi), the other hotels both located in downtown, but Canbin Hotel need to walk for 20 mins to downtown. The Rekjavik Visit Card is recommende.

Good location”
The reception staff is very helpful and nice!
The room is a little bit small (smaller than Japan's semi-double room)
The price is included breakfast, but just a simple breakfast for us (ham, eggs, potato, milk, toast, biscuit and cheese....), the rooms are small but tidy and comfortable and the location is good, just 20 mins walk to downtown, the staff is helpful and nice! N1 station, Subway is just opposite side of cabin hotel, and you can walk our by bus no. 12 to downtown.

Very good value for money”
We had deluxe room on 6th floor.Very clean, and very quiet.
Ca. 20 minutes walk from city center.
This hotel was very cheap to be in one of Europes capitals. The best value for money we have had any places. Even in Deluxe room. We got picked up every morning for the days excusions, so the location did less matter. Very close to official thermal swimming pools, only 5 minutes walk.Very quiet and clean. We will definitely stay hear next time we go to Iceland.

I stayed by special offered price, so I enjoyed more than as price! Great cleanliness, silence, facilities, traffic convinience.
unlock card for the room doors has a little severe sensing.
I think it is one of your best choise for staying in reykjavik. And they have nice bus stop 'HOTEL CABIN', so very good access to downtowns.

cheap, facility good.
non.
We stayed for 3 nights in Deluxe room and the room was not so big but very clean and has enough amenity(towel, shower jell&shampoo, hair treatment and soap) but this hotel doesn't have a free internet service, so if you want it you have to pay at the front desk(we payed for 24h:2,000isk). 20 to 30 min walk to city centre and also you can take a bus near the hotel. Walking outside was soooooo hard in the cold and very windy season.

Good value”
Good value
The bathroom was very small, but still functional and usable.
We had a pleasant, if short stay at this hotel. The lobby, breakfast room, corridors and common areas looked quite new, but our room, which was the "standard" had not been renovated yet, I guess, and had two separate beds instead of a large one. Our room, though, matched the picture in their website, and therefore we have nothing to complain from. It was very small, but adequate for our one night stop in Reykjavik. Breakfast was not particularly remarkable, but considering the price paid for our stay, I would return to this hotel.

A choice for money.”
Cheap, the view from the room is quite good (Superior Room).
Far away from city center.
You are going to choose this hotel for the price. The location is a bit too far from the city center. The general condition of the room, lobby and corridors is good - Tidy and clean. We arrived and check-in in midnight. We found that there was nothing in the room. No hair-dyer, tea pot, etc. We went back to the lobby and the staff apologized but nothing is compensated. The staffs were generally helpful though. They were able to provide information and assistance for you. The hotel is really far from city center. It's not a pleasure to walk in Iceland weather even in the city. So prepare some wind-resistant clothes if you want to walk out. Since all the restaurants and shops are in the city center, you will find yourself walk between the hotel and the town center a lot. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday. While the food is alright, I also hope they provide a bit more variety.

Economic hotel, but get the deluxe room!!”
Economic Hotel. Good view of Mt Esja and bay if u insist... Not far from the Kurglan Shopping Centre the closest one to city and walkable... Neat and service good..
Standard room is pretty small... You often hit the wall during sleep... If u have two persons, take the deluxe room... Breakfast average... egg and bread...
It is good neat economic hotel. 15 minutes walk to 101 Reykjavik street where things happen... If u are couple, take the deluxe room, otherwise u will regret...
