Excellent location, great price, friendly helpful staff”
It’s really an older 4 star. The pool is smaller than you’d expect. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. The hotel is a bit dated, but still maintained. The breakfast buffet was very good and kept changing slightly to offer variety

Great service and friendly staff, particularly Mr Mohamed manager of the "blue restaurant", and Mr Islam of guest relations, who both made our stay agreeable. Wonderful breakfast and buffet, highly recommended!! Comfortable and clean rooms. Well maintained building. Services and professionalism at Kempinsky is way better than other 5-star in Cairo. Well done!

Pleasant stay at Kempinski Nile”
It was a nice stay but the hotel is already a bit old. The rooms are small as well as the pool at the roof top. I expected a better breakfast for a Kempinski Hotel but the bars are ok. The location is good and the staff is helpful and friendly. I give 4 stars for the hotel.
Overall an enjoyable stay , Great Nile river view , polite staff , Very Comfortable bed & pillows , I have to mention we had a taxi from the hotel which the hotel organised to the pyramids and the driver was polite although when we arrived at the pyramids the driver handed us over to which we now realised was a local Tout .
Agoda suite booking was downgraded. Stay at the 4 Seasons”
We booked the Imperial Suite via Agoda and called to confirm the booking prior to arrival but when we arrived at 1 in the morning the night manager told us we had not paid enough for the room (we paid in full through Agoda) and proceeded to downgrade our three night stay to 2 standard rooms or gave us the option for a refund. Unfortunately, at 1 in the morning after a long travel with an infant, a 3-year old, and my mother-in-law we didn’t have a real option. The next morning I tried to sort everything with the day manager but to no avail. I couldn’t be more disappointed in the Kempinski. Putting that all aside, the hotel was in sad shape. The carpets had stains all over and were worn down, most of the furniture is scratched or damaged, the rooms on the lower floors are noisy (street noise) and the Nile view is horrible. Obviously, our opinion of the staff was bad. For the same price point you could stay at one of the 4 Seasons both have a view of the pyramids and the highest standar

Error from Agoda ruined my stay”
I booked nile deluxe room and when came to the hotel I was told that my room is not nile room, it is madina room and that what Agoda had booked for me. I showed the reception my online booking confirmation but didn’t work the hotel advised me to contact with Agoda. After contacting Agoda customers service which is for justice very cooperative and helpful but slow and still haven’t solved the problem. In that time I had to stay somewhere else and didn’t stay in Kempinski cuz the whole travel had been supposed to stay with nile view. Kempinski said that was not our mistake and we’re fully booked and Agoda So far Still trying for the error to be solved with Kempinski for a refund and Iam waiting for this. Only wished that Kempinski were cooperating and understanding and helped me that time in reception.

Great location, good establishment, staff could improve their service and kindness ”
Staff is not as polite and helpful as they should for a 5 star hotel. Hotel room are Very spacious, the restaurants are a little disappointing, and so is the large buffet of the breakfast. Not the best Kempinski hotel for sure ! Small improvements would make a big difference !
Amazing hotel and best in Cairo ”
Friendly and professional staff, they don't believe in NO they make possible. Special thanks to Mr. Amr Ghobashi and Ms Mariam from the reception. The hotel is very clean and quite i had excellent experience with them and definitely i will go back. I highly recommend Kampinski Cairo.
Room service & room service ”
The house keeper and staff were very friendly and helpful, Saeed Saeed from house keeping went extra mile to make sure I am happy . Room service I was disappointed by the food standard. I can't say I enjoyed any meal i had over my couple of stays in the room service
Oasis of Luxury and Tranquility”
In a city like Cairo, as fascinating as it is overwhelming, it's a must to to have a good hotel as a home base to return to when the chaos gets to be too much. The Kempinski is hard to beat. Elegance, sophistication and tranquility make it the perfect respite. I highly recommend it!
Worst Service ever for Kempinski”
Pros: It's a beautiful hotel. Clean rooms. Nice heated pool, spa, few restaurants, etc. Cons: Service is most horrible. Will never come back and stay at this hotel. I'm not sure if these people know what service is. Incident 1: We were told by receptionist that swimming pool opens from 7am to 7pm. So we started swimming at 4:45pm. Very nice heated pool. We were enjoying it until a guy disturbed us. A muscular guy in white polo walked by to the pool while we were in the water. He told us in exact words: "Get out. We are finished". What the. So we said we were told the pool doesn't close until 7pm. He said its a mistake and that we need to leave now. We looked at the time. It's exactly 5:15pm. We refused to leave and we asked to talk to a manager. Manager never came because they never called manager for us. Pls take a look at the picture I posted. We waited until 5:35pm for manager. The picture shows that the pool in summer closes at 7pm and winter at 6pm. Picture shows it was only 5:35pm. But we were told to leave at 5:15pm. Take that as a customer service. We called for manager again and a very nice Chief Butler (his business card in picture) came to our room to apologize. He apologized repeatedly and asked for what he can do for us and offer us some drinks. We like this guy. He's very nice to talk to and he apologized many times for something he did not cause. Incident 2: My mother stayed alone in one room. One evening, a guy in suit came knocking on the door to my mom's room. She mistakenly opened the door. He walked in and took the wine bottle on top of the mini bar. She asked him why he took it and he didn't answer. She asked him if she would be charged for it in the bill and he said no. Surely, when we checked out, the wine was in the bill. We told the receptionist the full story and they waived the bill. But the incident goes much further than the bill. They have no right to knock on the door of occupied guest room and no right to walk inside w
Great service and location ”
I visited Kempinski nile hotel for special celebration and I request the special arrangement from agooda help team, when I arrived the hotel all the request arrangement already done. So lovely staff service and luxury dealing and excellent room decoration. Special thanks for agooda services team for continuely support.
Great hotel, nice location”
Excellent hotel with good service, close to Tahir Square, Egyptian Museum and many restaurants and sights downtown. Nice gym on the top floor with Nile view. Pool is very small, crowded during peak hours. Cafe on lobby floor serves good coffee and food. This is an exciting time to be in Egypt, I had no issues with safety/security, and while there were various protests, they had no impact on movement around the city or at the major sights.
Odd hotel lacking character”
although i had a junior suite reserved the hotel was only originally wanting to offer a single bed standard room. it took half an hour of arguing for them to finally accept what i had booked and i ended up with a big suite...large but very plain; not up to what i was expecting from kempinski, at all. the bar and restaurant were empty / closed.
Nice place and lovely service”
I only spent 3 night at the Kempinski Nile Hotel, location is great, nile view is guranteed in the private balacony, room is spacious and clean, service is great and food is amazing.I used This hotel for a short business trip. The room and the breakfast were very good. However, the lounge was calm and clean. wifi is provided free at the room . i like the hotel very much
fantastic rooms and very friendly staff. only noticeable downside was the fact that the external arrival area is so small that it is difficult to park in order to enter the hotel. there was a problem with our booking (the hotel had no record of it and this meant that it took about 30 mins to sort out the problem. this was unfortunate as we were tired, having just arrived on the overnight train from luxor. nevertheless, the hotel managed to honour the booking and we were delighted with the room. all good in the end!
Small but fabulous hotel”
stayed at a garden suite which is basically a combination of 2 hotel rooms, one as a living room and the other as a bedroom. staff was knocking on both doors, instead of just the one at the living room. however, butler service was good and room amenities including free flow of water, soft drinks and hot drinks was great. hotel location is 10 minutes walk away from tahrir square, which is the nearest place for food, but it was closed during our stay.
The No. 1 Hotel in Cairo”
very clean and definitely a 5 stars hotel. great in room entertainment for those who just want to chill. hotel personnel are professional and reliable. room is very clean and the interior is very nice. location is great if you want to have a sunset view and a nile just at your balcony. make sure your room is facing the nile, of course. other than that, no restaurant or malls that are walking distance. since the room service is excellent plus the in room entertainment, you just wanna stay inside and relax. great for travelling business man.
Greate location, helpfull staff”
it was wonderfull indeed. very cleany, good comfortable furniture, butler service without delay. how evere very expensive restorants and not perfect internet connection, but quick response technition assistance.
