A friendly calm hotel with fabulous breakfast!”
A little off the beaten tack in Arusha but with a cute pool and round rooms - very atmospheric. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

L'oasis a hidden gem”
great indian food, friendly staff, cold beer!
L'oasis is a small and comfortable lodge. Located amongnst a residential village. And tucked away from the chaos of Arusha's town centre. An excelent place to sit back relax. enjoy the food and cold beverage pool side.

Individual unique bungalows; great staff; great restaurant.
Terrific in every way. It's not a luxury hotel but it is unique, quiet, clean with a great African bar and good food.

Quite literally an "oasis" in Arusha”
price, atmosphere, amenities
L'Oasis is excellent value for money. Instead of a hotel room, you get your own private bungalow! The lounge is very relaxed and inviting. The restaurant was a bit empty while we were there, so we preferred eating in the lounge. There are good options for breakfast - baked beans, sausage, bacon, eggs, omelettes, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, etc. The lunch and dinner menu has a lot of Indian cuisine, but there's also pizza, burgers, etc. The prices are reasonable by Arusha standards (approx. 14,000 for an entree). I should note that my boyfriend and I both "required Imodium" (if you know what I mean) while we ate the food there, but that was just our experience. Overall, it is a very good option for a peaceful and relaxing environment in Arusha!

Good for resting before or after Safari. ”
Quiet, clean, a true oasis from dusty dirty roads, hot shower, clean rooms, attractive setting.
Hotel has a long, bumpy road but once there you are in an Oasis truly. Best not to go back and forth on the road, just check in and relax there before or after Safari. If you have lots of errands in Aursha it is better to stay at a roadside hotel. Great value for the price, friendly staff, good food, lovely setting very green and lush and peaceful.

just a short transitional stay”
Staff, Restaurant and free Internet
My room was pretty loud between bar/ restaurant and the entrance, so I couldn't sleep really well at night. But since it was just a one night stay, it was ok. The rooms further back may be quieter and thus suitable for a long term stay also, but I cannot judge that. Other than that all okay, very friendly staff especially.

cozy place set in an uncomfortable location”
design of the lodge
- approach roads very bad - surrounding area like a slum and looks unsafe to move around - they surely need to fix the plumbing in the bathrooms since water flow rate was very slow - nice forest lodge feel with african decor - food quality good but pricey

Leuk hotel in Afrikaanse stijl.”
Kamers werden elke dag schoon gemaakt, zeer vriendelijk personeel.
