Refurbished in 2008 in a contemporary design manner, this property in Perth's central business district is close to shopping and entertainment. Spacious guestrooms and new furnishings make for a sophisticated mid-city stay at the Mercure Perth Hotel, less than a 10-minute walk from the train station and ferries. The hotel's position on Irwin Street makes it convenient to Hay Street and Murray Street malls where guests can make use of the city's department stores and an array of pubs and restaurants. Also the recent recipient of a facelift is the hotel's rooftop area, featuring a heated pool and spa and sunny open terrace, while a similarly remodeled bar provides a cool environment for aperitifs. Executive travelers will appreciate the hotel's adept business and conference facilities. All things considered, Mercure Perth Hotel is excellently located, well appointed, and reasonably priced.

Excellent location, near the airport, near the city, very clean and not expensive if it is compared the facility they have
Quiet area for good rest”
Twin room is good, very spacious and comfortable. No shower hose which is quite inconvenience. Lighting is quite dark. After turning off the aircon, the room is still very cold.. The good side is that the airport bus A380 bus stand is just 2minutes walk around the corner if Irwin Road of St George Tce.. you can use the Family ticket (A12.60) during weekends on A380 (AUD4.90)as well. Great savings. Less than 30mins to T1.
Convenient and good stay”
Walking distance to Hay streetmall but the price is affordable
Good location, value for money and friendly staff”
The location is within walking distance to Perth CBD. Friendly staff and affordable price. The breakfast buffet is yummy especially the croissants. The toilet is abit worn, after flushing, there is water leaking from the toilet bowl. However, this is not that serious.
Well located and good property”
We had a good stay at the hotel- it is well located with one of the pickup points of the city tour very closeby and also close to some nice shopping areas. Room was spacious - adequate for a short stay with 2 young children.
front desk were great, very willing to help even when we pushed our luck a bit with baggage check. Breakfast is good. Pool is ok but spa didn't look very good and was locked anyway but I will stay here again.
Great location and excellent services”
All staffs are great and super friendly. I got upgrade room which good!!!. but they only gave you one bottle of water per day. Please remind that all minibar are not included to your bill. except that everything is good.
Excellent service and flexibility in checking-in.”
location is ideal in the cbd area, being just a 5 mins walk from the main streets of murray and hay street. service quality was excellent and an early check-in was provided as we had a young baby with us and had to freshen up. rooms were in immaculate state. excellent for travelling families whom need to do laundry as there is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer in the hotel (aud3 per machine per cycle).
Great location nice hotel”
a nice clean hotel with comfortable beds. strategic location in perth cbd area which made it very convenient to travel around the city area. only 5 minute walk to hay st mall & murray st mall. there are always taxis available on the taxi stand in front of the hotel. we would definitely stay there again on our next visit.
nice hotel great roof top pool”
nice big rooms with a large bathroom. excellent location in the heart of perth. has a roof top pool which was nice and a spa and sanua.close to the shopping area. has a bar and restraunt with some nice cocktails.great room servive the valet parking was a rip off 28 dollars a night. which they didnt tell us about.
this is our first time in perth and we like the hotel so much. the 2 double bed can fit us 4 of us in the room comfortably. the beds were nice and all the basic things were provided. one night that we called to have extra pillow and towel and the housekeeping staf was very prompt to get the stuff for us. thank you for mercure you have make our stay enjoyable.
Perth central hotel”
This was my first stay at this hotel and I wa spleased with my choice. The room was larger than expected and well equipped with a nice tv, good bath room, excellent bed. The only downside of my trip was finding a taxi in the rain. There are excellent restaurants close-by, in particular an Indian around the corner.
Location, near to shopping streets and tourist attractions.
You get what you pay for ”
Location was good, within walking distance to hay Street mall, London court, the Mint and city cat (free inner city bus) bus stop just at the corner. But you do see more homeless people which makes it unsafe to walk around after dark. They scream, shout and run around the area so better be careful. The room wasn’t quite ready when we checked in, the light in the room was flashing so we had to change to another room. Tooth brush and slippers upon request. Bottle water not provided but there’s water tank in the lobby. Cleaner didn’t clean properly as we can see hair in the bathroom. Carpet and chair look tired. Overall, I can only say that you get what you paid for.
Good location and bed room is big”
Need to pay A$35 for hotel parking. The staff only feedback the road side parking is A$3.50 per hour. It is correct but did not inform some of the lots are free from 6.00pm to 8.00am. Need to read the sign board carefully when park on road side
Location is great, overall it’s clean, staff is helpful, and good value for money. ”
Unable to lock the washroom door (malfunction). The room WIFI was weak most of the time.
The hotel could use an upgrade. Pillows in rooms were rather uncomfortable, and when asked for their selection of special pillows, most were already taken by other guests (shows that most guests feels the same way with the current room pillows!) Location was good as short walk to most places within city
No thrill, reasonably priced hotel for business travel in CBD”
Mercure is located right on Hay Street in Perth CBD. There were quite a few restaurants nearby that are open late. As of end of 2016, there is a construction site right across for a new westin hotel. Nearby there is a City of Perth Parking lot which makes it easy to park overnight. Hotel will charge 25 AUD for 24 hours. Hotel generally in good shape. Staff were very helpful. Good cleanliness. We were traveling with 2 young children. Guest Laundry had 2 washers, 2 dryers. But half were broken.
overall good experience. Breakfast was good. the hotel, is a bit run down. Thermostat was not working properly. Staff service was great, provided a portable heater. The lock on the door was faulty, there was no inner lock. Location was the best, really central. Definitely would go there again.
First visit to Perth”
Great central location to explore the CBD, Elizabeth Quays and Stirling Gardens. Weather was perfect and the hotel was lovely. Downstairs bar had great food and drinks, reception staff were very professional. The only things I could fault were that the rooftop heated pool wasn't warm enough to swim in and the spa had so much chlorine it stung our eyes and we didn't last 4 minutes. We had a room that had noise from a party suite and rang reception 4 times during Saturday night and early hours of Sunday morning. Each time they dealt with it and I believe it was just a schoolies thing. Staff were great.
