Nile view, best location in Aswan”
We loved the Isis Corniche, they upgraded our room and let us have early check in at no cost. The Isis Corniche is located between the Nile and the Corniche, but because it is below the corniche it is very quiet, this also means there are steps, but we are in our 60's and they were no problem. Our average size room had a large window, which opened, overlooking the Nile ( so close we could have been on a boat.) our door opened on to a garden ( that needed some work ) so no corridors and lifts !! Wonderful. The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and comfortable, the floors were tiled ( no suspicious looking carpet ! ) but paintwork and grouting a bit tired, however they were painting the unit next door ,and after all we didn't want to buy the place. Everything worked, good fridge, plenty H.W, A/C. We had coffee on the deck between and overlooking the Nile and the swimming pool, lovely area. From this hotel you can go anywhere as soon as you think of it, Souk ,ferry ,restaurants, banks all within a few min's walk. Around the corner from our room Captain Habibi had his spotlessly white Felucca moored below the Isis outdoor lounging area. We went sailing with him and his friendly crew on a few evenings enjoying the peace and the sunsets, Must mention,a very good breakfast. Didn't try other meals. Also free Wi Fi
Great location but outdated rooms”
We stayed 2 nights in Isis Corniche hotel in Aswan. The location is really good which is just near the Nile river. The swimming pool, the restaurant and the cafe offer a great view to the Nile River. We can enjoy the beautiful sunset just in the hotel. Just across the street, you can enjoy the big market of Aswan. The rooms are a little bit outdated which is dark inside. We also found some spots on the blanket. You'd better bring your own towels since the hotel's towels are not soft as expected. The hotel staffs are quite friendly and helpful. Although we cannot go to Abu-Simbel due to the unstable political situation both in Egypt and Sudan, they tried their best to contact the police and ask information for us.
Pyramisa Isis Cornice has fantastic location, absolutely next to Nile and, same time, busy city life. Food was exellent, had all my meals there.Ready to return to this hotel.
Great hotel, excellent location and friendly staff”
thoroughly enjoyed staying at the pyramisa isis hotel. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was ideal.
Good place to stay near nile river.”
It's good place to relax in aswan with a great view beside nile river. Service of employee is good as well. In the early morning, breakfast box was also prepared for the tour. Overall, hotel is great to stay in aswan
Too noisy, but great location”
We stayed in total 5 nights at the Pyramisa Isis Corniche Aswan Hotel, longer than all other hotel guests. Most other guests just stayed one night. Most of the other guests were members of tour groups. We started in a so called Garden View room. All rooms are chalet like little buildings in the garden. The first night we barely slept as the noise from the street was disturbing. After we changed to a room closer to the Nile River we slept better. All rooms are so tiny and worn, lack of maintenance, that we wished to have chosen a different hotel. The only solution for an upgrade of the hotel is to tear the chalet type rooms down and replace it by a new modern building, as the location, right on the river is great. It might serve the purpose for 1 night tour group and back packers stays but not for travelers which expect from a 4 star hotel a much higher standard. For 5 days we and our friends were the only guests using the bar. When we ordered a Bloody Marry they got a blender from the kitchen and tried to blend whole tomatoes as they did not have tomato juice. The result was a stew with gin - horrible. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. We would give it 2 stars, 3 stars at the most.
Great location, situated just by the Nile river at the centre of Aswan Town. Just opposite of the Aswan Market. So lots of options for shopping across the steeet and also a lot of options for food in the area. The restaurant has a great nile view as well. The hotel is a bit dated, you can feel that. And the amenities are not top class, but I would definitely recommend the place for the location.
Great location & staff, wait for pool renovation”
The staff from the Gardner's, maids, housekeeping, waiters and managers are lovely people and the hotel is a good value in Aswan with a great central location. Food and ambiance at restaurant was great to fabulous with really reasonable prices and security was terrific. I was so upset that the pool is under major renovation for several more months, so after a week in Cairo and wanting Sun it was not to be. The manager upgraded us to a lovely Nile view room and the housekeeper gave us a beautiful bouquet of flowers. We will be back.
great location place needs more upkeep”
It was worth it to stay there due to the location - central to town yet quiet and the entire hotel fronts on to the river which I didn't see elsewhere. I would recommend booking a river view room as the faluccas are right outside your window. Otherwise you will have to go to the restaurant or pool to enjoy the view. Maintenance and cleaning are unfortunately lacking perhaps due to the tourism downturn. Food was barely passable. I can definitely recommend 'el masry' restaurant which is a few blocks straight back from the hotel. Internet in the lobby only. Buy a sim card for that. It's easy and relatively cheap although the data seems to disappear a bit too fast but at least it works (phone stores right down the block from the hotel). Enjoy aswan it's very scenic along the river and the people are warm and friendly.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and it is very nicley designed. Service is good and staff is very attentive. I feltcompletey safe here. The hotel is just across the Aswan market and very convenient for moving about.
Basic hotel, perfect location”
With this price you couldn't dream of a better location that surpasses hotels that are 5x more expensive. You choose this hotel only for the location and a nice pool that is always helpful in the heat of Aswan. Rooms are very basic if not poor, the bathroom was scary. But again, it was so cheap I wouldn't dare to complain too much. Breakfast was nothing to write home about!
Great location, on the Corniche so no need for ferry. Clean room, friendly staff and for the price I paid, I’m very happy.
Terrible stay, unfriendly env”
I arrived early at like 7am but they insisted the checkin time to be at 2!!! Come on! B flexible - it wasn't peak season, man! On top, I sent a cfm mail just to make sure. Though its my fault - little did I know there were few pyramisa Isis around Aswan! Gosh ....the person at another Isis replied and acknowledged about my reservation & early check-in! Anyhow - that 2 impolite hotel staff really made me almost cry as they had really bad attitude, imagining - I would b taking hours ride to Abel simbel, not having my luggage tucked in, nor brushed my teeth a little really agitated me beyond words!!!! Then, when I went into the room, there were shabby - no towels, no lock, a safety box that couldn't work!
Pros Best location in aswan - good value compared to the price - friendly staff Cons bad sewer system Which made me very angry
It's an okay place to be”
The view of the Nile is peaceful. The location gets 5 stars! They'll put you in touch with a tour operator for a trip to Abu Simbel and within Aswan, but it's disheartening that said operator was not amenable to offering any discounts when it is a general practice in all of Egypt. I wouldn't recommend routing this through the property. A few of the amenities listed on Agoda were absent on ground. No bottled water. The lamp shade over a light fixture in the bathroom fell and glass shards covered the entire floor, and apparently that's a very common occurence because the housekeeping wasn't surprised one bit about it when I called them to clean it up. The room seemed clean on initial inspection but there were bed bugs >.< The fixed menu on offer for half-boarding was very basic. Breakfast spread was decent.
The most awful experience in AGODA and the hotel change my order without any information ”
The hotel is super super awful, I took 10 hours from Cairo to Aswan, when I showed my order to hotel desk. They said my booking is not Pyramisa Isis Corniche Aswan Resort, I should check in Pyramisa Isis Island Resort & SPA, I replied like I didn't book Island hotel and explain that the island hotel need to carry my luggage and take 30 minutes boat to island hotel which is out of my expectation of time. Desk replied we leveled up your order with free, why do you complain this? I said I don't want to waste the time on taking boat and the reason I booked here is because the location. Then, they said today is fulled with group tourists and I must change or I can pay the US dollar cash and stay here, but the AGODA booking can not canceled. Because I was too tired to argue with them, and I carry luggage to take the boat which took me extra 30 minutes to arrive Island hotel. I also complained this change with Island hotel, they kept emphasizing they level up my order to 5 stars. So awful
Good Location, Confortable Room, Helpful Staff”
Garden View Room with big bed. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, although it is a bit old and need refurbishment. Breakfast is included in the room rate, very delicious local food breakfast. Hotel staff can arrange for convoy bus to Abu Simbel. DO NOT believe stories told by hotel staff like convoy bus is discontinued by the government and suggested you to take up private convoy car which is double the price paid for convoy bus!! We nearly believed such story but luckily we insisted on convoy bus and at the end hotel staff managed to arrange for us. Please insist on convoy bus (sharing bus for around 12-15 persons) as it is more econimical unless you are willing to pay at least double the price for private convoy car. Packed breakfast is provided for tour to Abu Simbel.
On the river, at the entrance of the bazaar, we enjoyed it very much. We started our Egypt trip in Aswan, this was a great location for that. No complaints.
On the river Nil”
The hotel is well situated, the room est large and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful. Too bad that the hotel was nearly empty, Egypt is not a popular destination, too bad, nice to visit because no people. I recommend this hotel
🤣You need to choice the best to room of this hotel”
You must talk to the reception desk, choice the best to room of this hotel, all some room is really not so good, even the clothes of bed is not clean! And there’s so many mosquito, so it’s depend on which kind of room you live
