The hotel has free shuttle bus from/to macau Ferry terminal until 20.45. Very easy if you want go to venetian, Parisian, city of dream in taipa just go to Macau Ferry terminal to catch the free shuttle bus to those hotel. Go to senado square also very easy (use Google maps) about 2 km. The room is simple and big, i get free upgrade family room, the bed was great, the bathroom also big and clean, there is mobile phone you can use for wifi/internet and call (free call to macau area). Everything was great! Very recommended!

The shuttle bus is looping from macau ferry terminal to hotel every 30min from 11am to 8.30pm daily. The location of the hotel is not far from the macau city center and the public bus is available every 10min. The lobby is grand with fantastic light fittings and accessories. The room is recently renovated and it is clean and spacious. The staffs are friendly and we received good help from the bellboy amigo Desmond. The casino has not much games mostly baccarat with lower limit on ground level while higher limit on level two.

Staff are very accommodating. Facilities were clean. Room and Bell service is great. This hotel has a great location for it is just walking distance to food stalls, shops, and tourist attraction. Also, travel time from airport to hotel is very convenient for it is just less than 30minutes. It also has a free shuttle service from hotel to the port. Overall, Rio Hotel is a great place and highly recommended place in Macau.

What's good about this hotel is that they have a small shuttle from Macau Ferry Terminal to their hotel. There is also a public bus stop outside the hotel. What's nice about the hotel is they have clean and well maintained facilities. Room is very spacious and tidy. Staff were all accomodating. For a hotel with casino in it, Rio Hotel is still very peaceful, clean, and safe even for those travelling with kids.

Rio is the place to be!”
This place was amazing. So cheap for all the comfort. The rooms are huge, the staff is so great and the restaurant even has two Michellin Stars. A free shuttle will take you to the ferry every hour and it is only around 10 minutes from the airport as well. It's quiet, comfortable and has everything you could ever ask for in a hotel.

Easy access with their shuttle from the outer harbour terminal. Friendly quick check in. Great concierge service. Easy 20min walk to senado Square 1.5km away. Good size rooms, comfy bed. REQUIRED AT CHECK-IN $1000hkd as security deposit. Pay in cash, returned in cash on check out.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It has a free shuttle from the Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal which is about 5 minutes away to the hotel. We were greeted by a smiling & helpful staff at the entrance, check in was very swift and our room was even upgraded! Just wow! The hotel is close to the main attractions of Macau. What really makes this hotel stand out is their Filipino staff who were naturally friendly, smiling and helpful. Kudos to Rio hotel!!

Rio hotel provides free shuttle bus service in between ferry terminal to the hotel & gongbei port as well, the staffs are kind and helpful, the room is big and clean. Outside of the bus has a bus stop, which is really convenience. Most of the tourist spots are walking distance from Rio, if u r willing to walk.

We love this hotel and we’ll definitely stay with them again when we visit Macau. The staff were very accommodating and polite. Our room was upgraded and our daughter was super happy with her own place (the sofa) plus the huge bathroom and bathtub. Their pool was so photogenic too and again staff were great. Good location walking distance to senado square, ruins of st paul, the sands, fisherman’s wharf and lots of good food finds esp the japanese one right on side of the hotel.

Staff very helpful before i book using my facebook name ,when precheck in hotel lobby request amend full name same with pasport/IC name and i dunno how to do ,i ask the hotel staff help me and the staff bring me to his office to use computer for more easier but after i login agoda account mention temporary not support this service i try call customer service and livechat but Q so long no response , in the end i try send email wait within 5-10 min agoda side direct help me amend full name . The location is OK if u like to walk. Almost attractive place is near. By teksi is just around 10min to the attractive place. And walk may be need around 20-30min. Is have many restaurant around the hotel. 7-11is just infront of the hotel. All the staff is very helpful. The free breakfast is OK but just not much choice. They just upgrade my room without any charge. And it got free shuttle bus also.

I would really recommend Rio and definitely will be back for next trip. Pros: 1. staff was really helpful and nice especially one of the bellboy, and he even helped us to stop and store our luggage to the bus headed to the border. 2. Room is really clean (we got upgraded, thanks for that) Cons: 1. A little bit far from tourist place, it took around 20 minutes walking to senado square & ruins of st. Paul (approx MOP 30 if you take taxi, but way faster) 2. Shuttle bus only took you from hotel to pier or from pier to hotel. If you want to reach other place (e.g the Venetian, you can take the shuttle bus from Rio to pier then take the Venetian shuttle bus from the pier) But overall I love staying in the hotel, it was a nice and good place. Definitely recommended it!

Close to the outer Macau Ferry Terminal and a lot of the older casinos in northern Macau. Also, great access to local bus lines that will take you anywhere within Macau. As an added bonus, they let you borrow a cell phone with unlimited data (from what I can tell). Lots of good local food stores within a block serving good, quality meals. Will definately visit again!

Our stay here was exemplary. Bedroom, comfort room and facilities such as pool and gym is nice. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous. For midnight cravings, 7 11 is just around the corner. Many bus stops near the hotel for travelling to and from historic/tourist sites. Though we were surprised for incidental charges to paid immediately amounting to 1000MOP but fully refundable after a month if you use your credit card, i just dont know if its cash. Well hope Rio Hotel will not disappoint me and reverse back the 1000MOP. Overall, twas nice. You should bring swim attire for you to experience the pool. Oh, also place was relaxing; you need to spend time for about a day to explore the hotel and 2 days for Macau travel.

The room is spacious for the 4 of us. We slept very well because the beds were comfy and roomy. I personally like the big window. It provided us the view of the sea and city. At night we can see beautiful lights from the many casinos and hotels. In the day time, this big window allowed the sunlight in and provided us with natural light. Breakfast is also good.
