Comfortable and special hotel building structure”
Comfortable, Beautiful Ocean view, Big room
I travelled to Sunderland for a business trip and was in and out of the hotel in less than 24 hours. The hotel is facing the ocean and has a beautiful view in the morning. This is a boutique hotel located in a old 3-4 floors cottage. It gives a country side feel however, the as the carpet in my room were probably laid over old wood, there was a squeaking sound when I walked in the room.

Poor access for disabled people
We stayed overnight for a wedding reception and overnight stay. The hotel was pleasant and the room although small was very nicely done in a contemporary style. The bathroom was particularly nice. Th food was nice and especially the breakfast. We changed from a twin room to 2 singles (at my request) as there had been a leak and the twin room was not available. There was no extra cost to do this which was nice.
The stair lift at the rear wa difficult to negotiate for an elderly guest with limited mobility. I feel that this guest, who had made enquiries earlier to ascertain the accessibility of the hotel, should have been given a full written explanation and a pictorial guide to the best way to enter and exit the hotel, with a floor layout showing access to rooms and to the bar and dining rooms using the lift. It was very complicated, but if understood would have been a lot easier to negotiate on the day. This would have ensured the guests with limited mobility enjoyed their stay without worrying about how to get around the hotel. I hope the hotel will take this feedback on board.

Lage, schnelles Internet, nettes Personal
Gute Lage, Restaurants in der Nähe. Im ganzen etwas abgewohnt. Für kurze Aufenthalte o.k.
