Great expensive place with perfect swimming beach”
The new management should not rent out rooms that has no water pressure in the bathroom. Bathroom nothing really worked. Really small dark rooms, nice outdoor sitting. Food was not great and way to expensive. Please new management make this place work again on such a nice location.

I love the place. I go back year after year.”
So good if you want to stay on the sea and close to Wadi Shab. It's best to start the hike into Wadi Shab by 8:00 a.m. during this time (April), in order to get to the cave swim hole and then back out before noon (high sun).

Photos are very deceiving ”
We know hotel photos are mostly deceiving but Wadi Shab's are very deceiving. Unfortunately, I paid the price of a 4-star hotel resort, and got a chalet / motel instead., and I am referring to the room, pool, beach, landscape and resturants. I was very keen to take a calm relaxing dip in the pool (as anyone would when you see the hotel pool photos), but when I got there, it was tiny and the water looked rather stale. Wifi was weak and didn't work half of the time. My hot water shower was bearly warm. There is a fence that separates you from the beach. I didn't bother to ask for access as the beach was made up more of pebbles than sand. Now the pluses... The bed is comfortable and the staff are nice. For that price, I would have preferred a better hotel even if I had to drive further... If only I know. Now you know ...

Cool ”
This two star resort is well placed aside sea shore, great views. Check in was smooth and fast. Got early chick inn as well late check out. Book through Agoda for some smart good deals, if you walk in directly they are charging Omani Rial 49.000 for one night with no break fast. We were 2 adults and our kid of 1.9 years. Booked a standard room, Room size is not that big, but its okey. Bathroom is specious with all toilet amenities, but bathing area is congested also water flow from the closet pump is weak. All the rooms in the resort are with sea view, they have a balcony from the entrance. The whole view from the resort is to the sea and cliffs. Location is very nice. Resort has got a small swimming pool and has access to beach. Beach is not friendly, its not sand, but filled with stones, also its not a private beach. Buffet Break fast and dinner was good. For breakfast they are charging Omani Rial 4.000 and for Dinner Omani Rial 6.000. Overall its a gr8 place to stay.

Friendly staff, poor facilities, good location for Wadi Shab & Tiwi”
This hotel takes advantage of its monopoly in the Wadi Shab & Wadi Tiwi area. Staff is friendly, but the rooms and facilities are at a 2-3 star level at most. Breakfast was poor. Overall, value for money is out of whack.

Nice resort perfect for getting early to Wadi Shab”
We liked the pool, the quiet and the location
Maybe other reviewers lowered our expectations but we liked this little resort right off the highway. It was quiet, with good views & beach access, the pool was clean, towels provided and perfect for a refreshing swim. We only stayed one night on our route through from the turtle reserve to the airport and this served the perfect location for an early visit to Wadi Shab which is an absolute must. We passed hundreds of others entering the wadi at 10.30 am as we headed back to the resort for midday check out. Finally, we had no complaints about the food, 6 OMR each for 3 course dinner - I think they fetched it from a local restaurant as we were the only ones there - maybe we were lucky with this.
