“A kind host's guest house.”
This is a very charming guesthouse that utilizes a Hanok. It is located within a Hanok village, making it convenient for sightseeing on foot. Upon arrival, the owner immediately provided us with a map and explained sightseeing spots and recommended restaurants in a mix of English, Japanese, and Korean, which was very helpful as there was less information available compared to Seoul and Busan. We visited the bibimbap, bean sprout soup, and kalguksu restaurants that they recommended, and they were delicious. The room was spacious, with a bathroom in each room, a loft, and a mini kitchen. There was a large dining table, dishes, a microwave, and a water server, so it was easy to take out food and eat in the room. The cleanliness was impressive, and it was warm with the ondol heating. In the morning, they brought breakfast to our room, which included toast, black sesame porridge, fruit, and coffee, allowing us to enjoy it leisurely. After checkout, they stored our luggage, and when we returned, they even called a taxi for us, which was very helpful. This became my best memory of the trip to Korea, and I felt like I wanted to come back to Jeonju just to stay at this guesthouse again.
