Old furniture. Sad breakfast.”
Old interior and poor WLAN. Nice that tram is situated directly in front of the hotel with direct connections to Colloseum and central station. Breakfast not recommendable.

Location, Rooftop Terrace, restaurant.
This is a lovely hotel near to the train station...20 minutes slow stroll! Lovely hotel with grand entrance and public areas. The rooms are basic but very clean and there is a tv, hairdryer etc. You must try the roof top terrace for a beer...it is lovely!

Good if want to stay near the Termini”
Staff is very friendly and helpful, internet available in business center and pretty clean facilities.
The stay was OK, but we had some issues at the check in and check out. When we arrived, we were told that the Hotel did not receive our reservation , so they did not have a room at our name. Fortunatelly we had the printed confirmation with us, so they gave us the last available room. Also, at check out, we were told that the hotel did not have confirmation that we had allready paid for our stay, so had to wait some time as they tried to arrange this administrative problems. Rooms were clean, breakfast was OK (same thing every day) and even that the hotel it is not near the main touristic places, you can manage to get around via the subway and walking).

clean, convenient and helpful staff
location is good:10 mins walk to metro, bus and tram stops are in front of the hotel. the tram basicly can take you to the main spots in Rome. Mini market, phone company and restaurants are nearby. It was a bit noisy on the first two days coz the construction neighboring, then the staff arranged us to a very nice double room with a balcony on 4th floor which was much better.

It's located quite far away from train station”
Service okay, value for money, just too far away from train station.
It takes us 20-30min to pull the big luggage on rough road to reach the hotel. It's a bit old but quite comfortable. The room is big. The hotel is located in a old residential district. The road is quiet, so it's quite scary to walk in the night. If you're with a large group, it's much better.

Staying at the Porta Maggione”
The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and patient. It is very convenient to the train station and a subway line that will take you into the ancient areas of the city.
Rooms are very small and basic; there is only one wireless room that is closes at midnight and costs 6 euros.
The best thing about this hotel was the very helpful and pleasant reception staff. They really tried their best to please and were very accommodating. The hotel is set across from the Porta Maggione, one of the ancient gates in the Aurelian Wall, built in the 3rd century. There is also an ancient aqueduct that extends from the gate so you really feel like you are staying in ancient Rome. If you are a walker, it takes about 20 or 25 minutes to walk to the Colosseum (a very pleasant walk that takes you through mostly residential sections of the city) or you can walk 10 minutes to the Manzoni Subway Station that will take you to the most interesting places in the city including the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, St Peter's Square, the Spanish Steps, and other sites. On the down side, the hotel is older than most and has not really upgraded its facilities. The layout of the lobby breaks into a number of subrooms so there is no central lobby. The rooms are a bit drab but do have nice drapery furnishings. There is no wireless in the rooms so you have to use a wireless room downstairs that opens at 8:30 AM and closes at midnight. There is a 6 Euro charge. The hotel is very clean and well maintained but need to be upgraded (there is only one elevator to access its 5 floors and is not sufficient to provide for all guests).

Good Choice Near Roma Termini”
The location is very close to Roma Termini for those who need to catch an early train etc. The hotel is also pleasantly staffed and very clean. Breakfast was quite plentiful and adequate for continental style.
The beds and the shower were quite narrow for two average sized people.

Si volviera a Roma buscaria otro hotel”
Ubicacion y limpieza
