Good Resort with nice beach, golf course & spa”
The over-all service is satisfactory. The hotel is not too big, only about 50 rooms so you don't feel too crowd. Room is clean and tidy. The hotel has secluded beach facing west so you can enjoy beautiful sunset quietly every dusk. Good place to relax and break. Understand that they have a good golf course but I didn't enjoy it this time. It is a bit far from closed towns, therefore we needed to eat in the hotel restaurant every night. The food was acceptable and the main restaurant environment was gorgeous. We had a good stay in Tamarina. If I visit Mauritius again, I'll consider to stay in Tamarina again.
Fantastic Hotel - amazing!”
We stayed at a number of places during our holiday in Mauritius and this was by far the best! I can't find anything to criticize...the rooms, grounds, staff, food, views were all wonderful. We opted for 1/2 board and found that if you walked to the other end of the beach there was great 'street food' on offer - dim sum, noodles etc. perfect for lunch time. The bonus of the all inclusive option was though that it included golf, spa treatments and entrance to Casella Nature Park...
Super friendly and helpful staff.”
Super friendly and very helpful staff. When ever we have some questions/ problems (e.g. our car was broken) they helped us a lot. We also have free ticket for the casela-park every day. Our room was clean and very nice. The location of the hotel is a little bit outside on a golf area but the hotel offers daily tours to the casela
Very nice small hotel, good to have your own car to be flexible going to the town. ”
Combination golf and hotel is perfect, other water sport facilities not so good. Beach is nice for relax, reading....
A place i would come back to.”
A great hotel for relaxing and playing golf or just lying on the beach. Good restaurants and friendly staff.
Serene Calm and Lots of Privacy”
I love this hotel. It is tucked somewhere private so you feel like you own the hotel and the beach. The staff was pleasant and helpful. You may need to rent a car as the hotel is far from everywhere.
Everything is good apart from the food”
It's a pretty nice resort, the staff is amazing, the Spa is great and the facilities are good. The food is sub-standard, and should be avoided.
Helpful staff, beautiful rooms and gardens”
The staff at this hotel are terrific. They managed to assist me with every request. The beach is not a white sand one but I enjoyed it anyway. If you are looking to relax by the sea this is probably not the place for you. The surf is heavy.
Really enjoyed this wonderful resort”
A great resort, really well set up and maintained, the rooms with ocean view are really lush and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (e.g. to organise some painkillers late at night). the free daily snorkeling trip and waterskiing is great, and the food was very good as well - especially the asian fusion buffet dinner was outstanding.
Hotel is nice and you can enjoy delicious dishes, but we had to wait every single day more than 20 minutes to get drinks, despite we were among few who ordered first. Sometimes had to push the staff who seemed very disengaged to deliver a water of beer. I complained several times. Worst experience was approach of management to thievery in the room. We rushed for a short trip and once left one of our wallets on the bottom of closed suitcase, during cleaning and filling minibar 5 of 11 banknotes of 50€ value disappeared - were stolen. We knew the time and hotel knew that 2 members of staff entered room and did nothing based on RFID card readings. We did not want to spoil precious time at police station, but that lack of action or compensation in whatever way was so sad and disappointing.
Nice hotel but lacks atmosphere”
Me and my partner stayed at this hotel as part of our honeymoon. Staff were friendly and would help with anything when asked. However, we stayed ‘room only’ and being in the middle of nowhere thought we would pay for breakfast, at 650 rupee a pop thought this was a bit pricey when all I would eat was toast and tea. Dinner was the same 1500 rupee for a buffet dinner is too expensive especially without drinks. Myself and my partner hired a car so made a short trip to Flic en Flad for dinner each night costing around 1600 rupee between us with drinks. The pool is fairly minimal and one had a sign saying it was ‘under maintenance’ the whole time. Sunbeds are always available around the pool and on the beach, however there lacked an atmosphere in this place and there really isn’t anything to do. The rooms are spacious with everything you would need from a room. Including tea and coffee and a mini fridge.
Peaceful, calm we enjoyed the nice food. Very comfortable rooms. Nice jogging path
A great place”
A nice quiet hotel with great amenities and friendly helpful staff.
So nice, fantastisk Location and friendly staff, supercool live music every night , all-inclusive was Very valualibu...
Found rooms were excellent and very clean. Beach is also very nice and helpful staff.
Great staff, average food”
The location to the beach is perfect. The bar area is beautiful and the staff awesome. Gaspard gets a special mention, he is a dude! However, the food is pretty average at best, on a tropical paradise, serving canned tropical fruit is a bit odd. If you're staying here, you'll need to hire a car to get anywhere or wait until low tide to walk across the river (not as scary as it sounds). NOTE: If you're booking through Agoda, it says free bottled drinking water, they will try to get out of this.... it is only water... But there are no shops near by and they will charge you a premium. Pretty good.... Just get a better chef!
Staff were excellent. Especially Ram & Stephanie at the reception. Also Danny and Sharvesh at the restaurant.
Absolutely fantastic. Loved it. We will definately stay there again
Relaxing , pleasant and beautiful place of stay
