My 50 year old daughter and I were pleased to find the whole place esthetically beautiful, and the room was well appointed and clean. Views from the windows were gorgeous, and the linens were hand-embroidered. Breakfast was included, with an extensive buffet of mueslie, cereal, artisan breads, and fruit. If inclined, eggs, pancakes, and waffles could be ordered. Tea with cake was served in the afternoon. Town center was a short walk away. We loved this place! If only we could have stayed a week!

Lovely friendly welcome, All the staff were all very friendly . Great quest room with amazing wood burning stove in one corner. Amazing selection of breakfast items and hot breakfast cooked to order . Will definitely return and recommend to friends , lovely town to visit and wineries .

Shower extremely small bathroom of 1 m wide made even smaller by door opening into bathroom standing space "to buy" snacks and drinks take up the whole space where you should be putting your make-up and handbag and things you need. Could be in drawer to open up more space. Noisy kitchen next to the room Guests park you in Did not have breakfast, as we preferred to leave early

Great place in the heart of Franschoek ”
We had a great stay at the corner house guest house. It is very central and very pretty, the breakfast is also amazing. Michaela is the perfect host and even booked is a beautiful restaurants when most places were full. Would highly recommend!
Spacious room”
Friendly staff, spacious room and bathroom (luxury room). The breakfast was very good with fresh and dried fruits, good cheese, birchermuesli, croissant, a variety of egg dishes, etc. Beautiful garden.
Great location”
We stayed only for one night but found it to be very clean, great location and all basic amenities were available, including coffee making facilities in the room which made me very happy. The breakfast was great too.

A bit tired and would benefit from a little spring cleaning. Very comfortable bed. Lovely staff and a home from home feel. Will be staying there again.
Uncomfortably Cold”
the bedroom was in a cold wing of the house and room very Basic with no heating other than a small wall heater behind the pedestal. There's also no comfortable chairs on the lovely sunny stoep.

Really enjoyed my 2 nights here, friendly welcome and advice, a short walk to all amenities but bonus of a quiet retreat (not that Franschhoek is that busy). Room was spacious and clean.

We were civilly greeted by the proprietor and helped to our room. We didn't see him thereafter. The room was hot (we were there in a warm spell) and without aircon, we had a restless night despite open windows. Breakfast was fine and the overall impression was of a moderate facility at a moderate cost. We hope that the bathroom extractor fan is renewed one day, as the noise arising from a (planned) silent nocturnal visit must have woken the good folk of the adjacent rooms.....
